if customers goes back from checkout and adds something more and clicks Confirm order button then the restaurant will have two orders places, one of them is irrelevant and he should guess which one , where is the logic?

what?? please before saying that check it by yourself, i’ve just checked that on the latest demo as well, go to this page – https://foodbakery.chimpgroup.com/grocbakery/restaurants/nature-healthy-food/ then click ‘Confirm Order’ and then simply go buck by browser arrows in the left up corner.

Hi @ igo1 , Its not an issue. I have checked your purchase code was activated and installed on these domain installation links.

- Before you activate / deactivate Wp foodbakery plugin installation again, make sure to de-register the code so that you can use it again to activate on it even on same installation or different domain.

Ok, Thanks for your quick reply. just to be sure from which of the domain should i deactivate the food bakery plugin? i was using the property domain just to have everything set up before moving it to the wotlogeats which will be the final destination for it.

Hello, Just wondering if you could tell or point me to how I can fix this little problem. At the cart when one clicks or selects pay with cash it does not go through the woocommerce checkout, but if one selects to pay with a credit or debit card it works fine, it runs through the woocommerce checkout. How can I have the pay with cash button do the same?

Its not a problem but a simple cash method integrated in theme. if you want to use cash method given by woocommerc you can proceed via woocommerce payment gateway option using card option.

Hi, Thanks for getting back to me. when items are added to the basket, there are two options in the basket pay with cash and pay with a card, so when one selects the option to pay with a card that is run via the woocommerce payment gateway, but when one selects to pay with the cash option it doesn’t run via the woocommerce payment gateway. how can I have it run via the woocommerce payment gateway as well? I would prefer to use just the woocommerce payment gateway for both of the options.

Hello, Just wondering why the theme is not fully integrated with woocommerce, when one adds an item to the basket everything is fine, one will be able to see the item in the order details or cart, but when one proceeds to checkout, which is the woocommerce checkout. the item as detailed in the cart is not pushed forward but rather one gets the name of the restaurant multiplied by the number of the item. for example. If I’m trying to order a cheeseburger from McDonald’s restaurant, the basket will display the order correctly, but when I proceed to the checkout the information is not transferred or captured in the woocommerce checkout process, rather I will get the name of the restaurant, in this case, McDonald’s and multiplied by the number of the item that I added to the basket. what can, or should be done for this information to be passed through or captured in the woocommerce checkout?

and the other thing that I discovered is that each time you add an item into the basket, it populates the woocommerce products. that means that it is populating the woocommerce database table, meaning that the database will get overpopulated, and in turn, the server will have tons of data that are not actually needed. I can take a picture of this and forward it if needed. would it not be better to have this set as a woocommerce product and then run through the theme layout? that way only one single piece of information is taken from the database and outputted in the basket, cart, and checkout. otherwise, imagine working with McDonald’s, and people ordered 1000 burgers in a day, and when you go back to your woocommerce product you will find the same item multiplied by that 1000 and furthermore a waste of space in the database. These is just my findings and I hope that it serves as a correction point.

As per default criteria, theme have given a flexible option for users to use any woocommerce payment gateway option as this is not possible to integrate 100’s of payment gateways as woocommerce plugin supports. So this is the reason to utilize the woocommerce payment gateways. As far as wc orders are concerned they are automatically created as any transaction took place and will discard after interval of time to freed up the db space or can be deleted by admin.

Hello, The problem is not the woocommerce payment gateway, the payment gateway is easy to set up and configure, the problem is that the item or items in the basket in the theme is not reflected in the checkout when a customer is completing the order. if a customer adds a cheeseburger and a coke into the basket, then those items should show in the checkout. what is kind of clear to me is that there is no link or bridge between the theme and the woocommerce, so there’s no communication between the two. I can see that your development team has designed the theme to use an external product for the theme, my question is why don’t make things simple, easy to understand, and work with, by using the woocommerce resource in full? less time trying to figure out issues, everyone moves forward. you and I and everyone else know that data in the database does not automatically delete itself. so by the end of every day, the admin will have to go back to his or her database to delete all the duplicated data from the database? think about it. if one has 20 restaurants under its umbrella, and each has 200 to 500 per day, how long will it take for the admin to delete all of those data? not only would that be added work but more so time-consuming. my plea on behalf of everyone that has purchased the theme and those that with the intention of purchasing the theme let simplify things, and make it more efficient. if your development team can build this then I am quite sure that they can find a way to lavish the woocommerce resource to the fullest. if not and if you all know any plugin that will build the bridge between the theme and woocommerce to enable communication, please do point it out to me, I need to get my site working.

What you asking to see order details on checkout is not given via woocommerce as its only used to pay via woocommerce payment gateways. Not other feature on frontend and backend.

Incase you dont want to have such flow, you can disable woocommere plugin and can use the payment options and detail order details while doing payment integrated in theme. i-e paypal, bank, authorize.net and skrill.

have you a way that i can send you an image of what my query is? again what is the customer is paying for? a customer has added a burger and a coke. in the theme basket or cart, this information is displayed correctly, then the customer clicks to button to continue to payment, but in that interface, the customer sees nothing of such rather the customer is presented with the name of the restaurant, multiplied by the number of the item. This might help

(1) Cart “theme” Cheeseburger and Can of coke Total $8

(2) Checkout “Woocommerce” McDonald * 1

Now can you see the difference? The information from the theme is not transferred or communicated with the woocommerce, so now the application is telling the customer to pay McDonald’s times the number of the item, rather than displaying the order items which are the cheeseburger and coke. more so when you go back to your woocommerce you will see that a product has been added with the name McDonalds * 1. Because there’s no communication between the theme and woocommerce, the payment gateway says yes i can facilitate the payment but I don’t know what the items are, so I will rather use the name of the restaurant and add just a number. so if Mcdonald’s is under one umbrella and in a day they sell 5000 cheeseburgers one will have Mcdonald’s *1 5000 times in the database per day. Why? can we just use the woocommerce product and remove all these problems? absolutely yes, from the look of things. i am not saying this just for me but for everyone using this theme, and please take this as constructive criticism. I went to see that the theme work efficiently for everyone. but if you or anyone know of a good plugin that will integrate or build the communication between the two please do let me know.

No, since its all customized system given in foodbakery theme that are not the woocommerce products individually to be shown. Theme features have no link with woocommerce features.

Incase you want to show all detaila during checkout disable woocommerce plugin and can use the payment options given in theme that will let user to see the order details while doing and choosing payment method. Its upto you. Again i am writing for clarification your query is well clear but theme dont use woocommerce products.

Woocommerce is the payment gateway is the most popular and mostly used around the globe because of the added resources. i am using a printer to print the orders out at each and every restaurant, the other gateways in the theme do not offer such resources, moreover, it is an order for the likes of pizza, burgers, and fries. The bank payment and the other payment within the theme are for bunk transactions in thousands, or for international payments. please do point me to any plugin that will link both or give me the quote on the customization

And by the way, the authorized.net is only available for users within the united state, and Canada

There is no official recommendation for any 3rd party plugin since its not tested and made that way. You can enlist any freelancer services for that. Thanks for info.
