And why does modal window component create a mess in the elementor mode when you add it to the page (huge blank spaces before and after every section)? What is this and how do I remove it?

I don’t know specifically what you are trying to do, but these links contain important information on how to create menus, megamenus and navbar with Shock Theme.

1) Upload your video to your media library, and “copy” the URL of the file, for example: https://snipboard.io/pQbVtz.jpg
2) Edit your page with Elementor, and in the top section, go to Style tab > Background > Video Link and “Paste” your video URL, for example: https://snipboard.io/m2f9ab.jpg

How to create/edit the blog?
Option 1 (recommended): To get the best Blog design, you should do as we did in the demos. Choose your favorite blog demo and change the URL to /blog this works great and will give you endless customization possibilities with Elementor/ShockWidgets.

How to customize 404 page, Search Page and Archive Page?
Unfortunately these pages are not editable with Elementor, so we don’t have theme widgets for that.
In Shock Theme > Customize you have typography controls, colors and other options to customize the site globally.
You can change/translate any text in Shock Theme > Customize > Text Changes. This is useful for customizing 404 pages, Search, etc.
You also might look for a plugin that allows you to create customizable search results pages

Hi, I had a critical error when using PHP version 8.1. When I reinstalled PHP version 8 then it works. Maybe you can add it to the documentation.

Shock Theme works well with PHP version 8.1. In the documentation it shows “PHP 7.4 or higher” read more: https://shock.codings.dev/docs/server-requirements
The critical error could be due to some plugin you have installed. To find out, disable all plugins and enable one by one until you find the one that is not compatible with PHP 8.1. If possible, send us the error message and we can help you with that.

It’s strange, because I only installed Shock, I don’t have any other plugin installed, only the ones that Shock requires. So, I install version 8.1 I get a critical error and I could not access my website.

So the problem is in the PHP memory_limit
Shock Theme and also Elementor recommend 256 MB Set this to 128MB or 256MB and your site will work fine.

As i said there is an issue with my nav menu in the footer. When i click on an list item, the grid menu have a weird behavior and seems that is loading before new page loads. Also the page scrolls to top.
If i click a link from grid menu everything works fine, and the pages are loading as it supposed to be

We fixed it and now it’s working fine.
You will need to get the Shock Core plugin update.
1. Go to your plugin list and deactivate and delete the Shock Core plugin.
2. Once this is done, go to Appearance > Install Plugins, install and activate Shock Core again.
