Hi, I am using the Slide Theme. It doesn’t offer a Child Theme from scratch to make adjustments. Currently I do some settings in Elementor and I am working directly in the theme. But does a slide theme update overwrite all settings I have done so far? How does it work? Thanks for help.

Please Upgrade the search feature! Currently, the search feature seems to be limited when it comes to searching for individual photos. Currently, you can search for photo albums, individual videos and more. But you CAN’T search for individual photos. The search feature doesn’t seem to read any metadata that’s in the individual photos, it only reads the data that’s in the photo albums. If You could at least make it read the alt text that’s in the photos that would be great.
Hi, the search feature is based on WordPress default search functionality, there is nothing specific to the theme. I will investigate this and search for a solution, thanks!

Unfortunately, this was not implemented yet. Is still on our TODO list. Since the existing search is based on standard WordPress search feature, the needed code change will affect all the posts queries. Maybe we can help you with a child theme, can you please open a support ticket or send a message using the contact form on current profile?

Please recheck the latest update, I am unable to update WP bakery to 7.1, I deactivated the plugin and reinstalled it from your latest version and it is 7.0 and When I try to re-update, the update did not happen. It is stuck in WP bakery 7.0

Hi, could you please help with an update of the WPBakery Page Builder 7.0. It was not automatically pushed to my website after the theme updates as mentioned in the description. Every time I need to extend the support to get it updated. Why does it not get pushed automatically?
Hi, you don’t have to extend suport to update WPBakery. After each theme update, please go to Appearance – Install Slide Plugins and update the plugins that are included with the theme. I will release a new theme update today, with the latest version of WPBakery.

Hi, a new update was released with the upgraded version of Slider Revolution plugin. Please upgrade the theme, then update the plugins that are part of the theme package from Appearance – Install Slide Plugins.
Thank you very much for your replies. I didn’t know, that the plugins needed to be updated manually in Appearance>Install Slide Plugins. The plugins page doesn’t show this option. Via the plugins page the WPbakery update doen’t work and it wants you to buy the licence key. But now it works. Thank you!

Just a quick question… have you seen a scenario where, with the SLIDE theme installed, all of the Slide Music elements disappear from Elementor altogether? This happened to us just this week so our Slider Revolution banners, the MUSIC module, etc. have disappeared from the website. Any ideas on how I can look into this or reinstall them there? I think this issue may very well have to do with new version of Elementor that dropped today – Version 3.16.0. Seems like a huge coincidence to me as I am just noticing the problem today and I have another site running SLIDE that didn’t auto update and is not having any issues. :/

Hi, the audio player works either with self hosted files, or with files on external location as long as you have direct link to the media files. At this moment, it is not implemented to automatically get the list of media files from external location, as it is the case for the onestreaming.com link.

Please visit settings to activate your WPBakery Page Builder. Got WPBakery Page Builder in theme?” . When I go to the link given for when WPBakery was purchased in a theme, this is what I read: “How to update and receive support if I do not purchase a direct license? In such case, you need to wait for your WordPress theme author to update WPBakery Page Builder on their side and push it to you. ” The security scan of my host indicates the vulnerability comes from not having WPBakery updated… Can you help (Push the update to users of the theme)? I realised there is Elementor involved now (not installed for me). Does it replace WPBakery in the latest updates or is it just for new features?

- Is the an in-built payment system compatible ‘Livenation/BandsinTown’ directly integrated within theme? How does it work? I’m aiming to understand the user’s buying journey,
- Is the theme compatible with eventbrite plugin – A platform that manages ticket booking)? This is an alternative ticket system, that would allow us to feature several our of Theatre show events/tour dates (from those we organize ourselves, and thoses where the venue organizes it’s ticketing system)

Hi and thanks for being interested in Slide Music Theme! Regarding to your questions: the events created by the theme offers the option to link each event to external platform for purchasing tickets. So your visitors can check your events and then click on “Tickets” link to access the platform where they can buy the tickets. You can also sell tickets through your website, by using WooCommerce and creating a WooCommerce product for each ticket type. Let me know if something is not clear or you have more questions!
I’m desperately looking for a way to add an order to how the artists are displayed. Is there any way? By Name? Or by a given number? Currently they are displayed by the time the artist page was created.. is there any other way? Thanks!
The artists posts are displayed by the post date. Simply edit the posts and edit the published date.

Hello Support, Everything works great except when i switch to https, everything breaks like promise js.
Somehow i am not able to change my mixed Contents, i could do it for images and docs that i uploaded but when i view the source i see all kinds of mixed contents coming.

i have already tried: - downloading plugins that converts http to https - using htaccess, i just says. too many redirects.

Try http and https both on same above URL. with SSL everything breaks else it works great.
Not sure whats going on, in the past all i did was updated my htaccess to force all url to https. but with this setup. it keeps saying too many redirects.
Hi, it looks that a lot of resources (from wp core, elementor) are loaded from http. Unfortunately, I cannot help much, since this is not related to the theme functionality, it is just a matter of server configuration. Please make sure that your website URL (Settings – General) is set to the https version. Also, if you have a caching mechanism, make sure you purge all caches. Also, you need a dedicated plugin to change any URL that is set in the database with http. I hope this helps.
