Google Search Console is throwing up errors saying the page isn’t usable on mobile. I’ve deleted absolutely everything from the home page so the only thing displaying is the background and section middle part, and it still has the errors “content wider than screen” and “clickable elements too close together”, despite there not even being anything to click on mobile.
I’ve changed themes and the problem goes away. Is this a problem with this specific theme, or does something need to be changed?

You need to check which elements your search console is complaining about. Because it could be anything, could be a popup from a plugin, or an unresponsive ad you added in the theme, etc. If you can’t figure it out, you’ll need to open a ticket at http://codetipi.ticksy.com and send screenshots of the exact info your search console is sharing with you (URLs/elements/etc).

Any idea when the new update will be available. This menu thing its a pain. I had to, litterally, get a Dark Mode plugin to be able to see the menu.

If you create a brand new post, set a feature image, set the post to Gallery post format, upload a gallery. Does that not work?

Please, bear in mind that the latest developed version of Valenti is 5.6.3.9.1 (marked as 5.6.4 after installation), and that is not well listed on the history of the Envato Page. When you try to download the latest version from Theme Forest, you got the 5.6.3.9 version. It would be nice if you could sync these things, please. Thanks!

Update ? Hi, the last update of the theme is from June 2021. We are now in Sept. 2022 and the widget section is bogged apparently because it is not uptodate (developpers tell to use “classic widget” tool). Do you plan to update the theme or not ? (Your answer is important for me : I need to know if I need to switch or not (I have been using this theme for the last 10 years.). Thanks

Chris (Codetipi dev) has been on leave for personal reasons, but he is making his way back now and there are plans for a new Valenti update.
But as a FYI, you should use the classic widget plugin, the new block widgets functionality in WordPress is not great at the moment (just test it yourself) and not really recommended to use at all.

Can you confirm the current version of Valenti (and Let’s review for that matter) are fully compatible and tested with WP 6.0? I am holding back updating to 6.1 as per SOP for bug fixes from the core team but need to know if you have tested it also.

You should always test big changes (updates) on a staging site first. Most hosting companies offer this for free, so that’s always the first thing to do.
Because you need to test all your plugins, and settings as well as the theme.
As of yet, there are no known issues between WP6 and Valenti

Yes but it’s using a normal site. Anything with custom code or plugins may be different, so you need to test it yourself to minimize any potential issues.
On front page have sidebar with widget therein. There is more space between the heading there and the widget than I would like. How can I reduce the size of the space?

Your theme is way out of date, it’s almost a year old going on over 10 months, and no updates, and it’s not compatible with the most current WordPress and your documentation is just as bad with being out of date along with it saying in the next update there will be an auto import demo as easy as 1,2.3 and so far there is no such thing. I’m not paying for support when you have enough customers to keep this theme of yours current. Almost all themes with over 5000 purchases keep there themes current. I stopped using this theme last September because it doesn’t keep current. Please get current this is a really nice theme.

I disagree, the theme is not out of date, it works really well and the latest update has made it perform better than brand new themes! It will get further updates down the line too.
The import demo system is almost done and so will 100% be included in an update. But the theme is so easy to use, you can definitely recreate the demo very quickly. Unlike other themes that use bloatware (Visual Composer, Elementor, etc), Valenti does everything natively so it’s very simple.
If you don’t know how to recreate something from the demo, simply open a ticket at http://codetipi.ticksy.com and someone from support will happily explain the easy steps.

telling the customer they are wrong when they have issues with your theme for many months tells me to move on to someone else because you don’t tell a customer they are wrong when they are the ones who experience all the issues and see the issues from when WordPress keeps updating. So I’m no longer going to bother with this, I just waisted money on an not up-to-date developer. Horrible way of treating someone.

Long-time happy owner of Valenti theme here. Quick question I’m hoping you can answer without having to renew support and open a ticket. If not, I get it.
I just noticed that Let’s Review features aren’t working correctly. Then I realized I still have a suuuper old version of the plugin, the one from before Valenti’s big (awesome) upgrade. I followed the instructions to go to Codetipi to download it, but it’s not listed as available to me.
I see that separate from Valenti, the plugin is $29. Did I miss the window to snag it for free as part of Valenti?
Clearly I was asleep at the wheel on this one. face palm

You can get the latest Let’s Review version even if you don’t have valid support It comes with the latest Valenti too, if you do need help to install it you will need to renew support and ask the support team for assistance though. Hope this helps.

This is mega confusing. You have opened 3 separate tickets in the support system within the last 12 hours. They all received very quick responses already, including the solution to the problem. And it has nothing to do with the theme.
Now, about 15 minutes ago you left a 1 star rating complaining about this and you received another response there letting you know the issue is not with the theme and the solution.
And now you write a message here. I will copy/paste the response to your rating, hopefully you read one of the 5 responses we have sent you and you can stop spamming all the channels:

The last response from the support team also identified and explained the cause of the issue. And it is nothing to do with the theme:
You have 2 separate lazy load systems running at the same time on the site. You need to disable one as you can only have one lazy load system on a site. This is what is causing your images to not appear.
I recommend disabling Jetpack’s lazyload and leave the other one active.

The support has been very friendly. Leaving the same message in 5 different communication channels is spammy, especially when you are receiving quick responses to each one and you are claiming the theme is broken but the problem is nothing to do with the theme 
The support has been not friendly when talking about my rating. The rating is my right and he has no right to talk about it. I sent several messages because the advice was different and incorrect. He should have identified the problem from the first message

This is one of my favorite themes and I was so happy when I finally got my site updated with the latest version of it. I especially enjoyed the custom sidebar feature for individual posts yet this functionality seems to be missing in the updated version? For example, in a Draft Post I have selected the layout option with a side bar and selected “Create Unique Sidebar” from the drop down that pops up there – yet I am not seeing this sidebar populate in my Widgets tab like it did previously. Does the post need to be published to see it there or is there another way I can edit this sidebar while post is in Draft mode? Thanks!

Thank you for your reply. I just tried to submit a ticket and it appears my support subscription has expired again. Do you offer lifetime access to support for a single fee? Similar to other theme providers like Divi. It is very inefficient that I have to keep activating support every 6 months for practically the cost of theme for only one random question now and then which should be a working function of the theme or included in documentation somewhere. Thank you

Themeforest doesn’t offer a lifetime support license, unfortunately, but to the best deal, may I suggest you purchase a new Valenti license and bundle in the 12 months support deal. It’s all currently on offer, and you’ll get a year’s worth of support, another license to use on any future projects for a great price.

Yes, Zeen has an option to only display one category link per post (even if the post is assigned to 100 categories).
It will also use whatever “Primary Category” option you assign the post – this applies if you use Yoast’s Primary category feature of course.

Re: Elementor Pro – The theme doesn’t need Elementor at all to create all the beautiful layouts you see in the demo sites. Elementor adds a lot of extra heavy files which can really slow down your site, so unless you already have a site with lots of content created with Elementor – I’d recommend not using it at all.
