Hi Cyrilleradio, you can’t change domain on a license from 5 years ago, doesn’t matter you deleted the website.

The only case where a license can be changed of domain is when you’re moving from a local or staging subdomain, to a public domain, but this doesn’t seem to apply to your current change.

Perfect, once you connect the final domain to the website, if the domain is the same, the license will work fine. If you are making a new site update on a staging environment, it requires (by License terms) a second license. That’s black on white in the license terms.

Can you provide a screenshot of where in the envato terms this is? Because we had a form to change domain. Envato sent us multiple emails to take down that form explaining it’s not compliant with license terms. If you have a screenshot of where this is written in the license terms, we will change your domain and ask clarifications again to enavato.

1. yes works with blubrry 2. there is no staff page, it’s based on Author parchives and Series archives but you can also make a custom page for each staff member

Hello, it seems you have no license… The aforementioned issue with pho 8 was solved a long time ago… If you’re on the latest theme version and the issue continues please let us know.
About the player, the non stop functionality needs to be part of the theme, every single piece needs to be compatible with this function, so you can’t add it to just any theme.

Hello! I really love the look of this theme! I have a few questions before purchasing that I can’t figure out from looking at the demo.
1) How much information can be put in the staff boxes? Are custom links and social media buttons able to be added? Can you adjust the number shown per row?
2) Is it possible for a longer bio to be displayed on an author’s archive page?
3) Can select authors be shown on specific pages with the shortcodes or assigned to a specific series?
4) Are “Series” or “Topic” customizable or are they automatically pulled from categories and keywords? Can some things be excluded?
5) Can the “results” on the headers be hidden?
6) I’m currently using powerpress and have over a thousand episodes already posted through my wordpress site. Has your theme been successfully, seamlessly installed on an established podcast website before? I don’t want it resending all my shows out or something.
Oh! Also, on the author archive page, is it possible to show a collection of series instead of individual episodes?
Hello! 1. Well you can put more content, but that would not look very nice, for this is better to have more content in the single page instead.
2. Yes you can put a longer bio
3. Authors are linked to single episodes, that’s managed by wordpress. Authors can’t be linked to series
4. Series are basically like categories, you can customize the image and name. Not sure what you mean as “pulled from categories and keyword” but you can use plugins to convert a Category term into a Series, without breaking the connection with existing posts from your website
5. Yes, our support can do this for you
6. Yes you can import them with PowerPress. Most of our customers do this. You can also use SecondLine podcast importer otherwise
7. No, authors archives cannot display series simply because series are not linked to authors in WordPress.
I think we do have another product which may better fit your needs at this link, maybe you’re looking for somethign different: podcast.pro.radio
Perhalps this has more flexibility for your needs.

Sorry that’s not related with the theme, RSS are handled by wordpress itself (there is a podcasting standard in WordPress which we are not modifying).
There are quite some plugins to add images and other details as the author in the feed, so there is not point in having the theme acting on that.
Unfortunately I have already tried this type of plugins, but they are quite resource intensive and often tend to slow down the site… I thought that there was perhaps a way to be able to configure a simpler solution in the theme with a suitable configuration for the QT Series?

Hello, you have commented and suggested to someone asking for Soundcloud that blubrry is cheaper than Soundcloud and that is totally wrong! 1Tb monthly bandwidth on blubrry costs 100$ per MONTH! Soundcloud has a 15000 plays limit per day on their 80$ per year subscription. The important factor with streaming is bandwidth! Not the tracks upload limit downloads etc…
Hi, thanks for the information, that anyway depends on how much you upload and how many listeners you have, so is completely subjective depending on the usage… Also, are completely different services.
Blubrry allows to play the MP3 on external players, like on your website, while Soundcloud forces you to use their player.
So if you want to share the podcast feed and allow people to listen from their own websites, not to mention using your own player on your website, you can’t do it with Soundcloud, you can only embed their player.
Therefore if you want a PROFESSIONAL result, you need a proper podcasting service like Blubrry, Anchor.fm or similar, and not Soundcloud, which is another type of service.

Well if an audiece of a podcast can consume 2TB of bandwidth a month, it’s probably worth something like 1 million $ a month, your example is more than what the podcast from Joe Rogan does, which means you can even spend 10K a month in hosting and have your private servers to handle the podcast… They simply put 2TB bandwidth because that’s “oversale” and is what they do to show a lot of bandwidth that people never use.
While when you are a professional with many listeners and know what you use, and want to have a serious service like Blubrry or similar, they know you’re going to use what they give you and you need to pay for waht you really use.
Saying 2 TB a month to soundcloud users is like telling a 5YO kid he can eat 10Kg of icecream for 20€, it seems a big deal but after 5 spoons he will be full and paid more than what he would have spent to purchase a ice cream.
You have very wrong assumptions here, I have 1.5TB- 2TB per month bandwith consumption on vimeo with my account and I get not more than 1300$ per month as income and that is not income from streaming but from yearly payment fee, giving access to my users to stream my own music. So your assumptions are nowhere near any reality. Thanks
Yes but that’s video, not music. First the comparison makes no sense and second I don’t understand what you need from us. The point here is extremely simple, if you need a podcasting hosting to stream your MP3 files directly, you need a proper podcasting platform, which independently from the bandwidth and consumptions, is NOT SoundCloud simply because it doesn’t provide direct access to the mp3 files .
This was possible via api many many years ago, since I programmed myself a player populating the website automatically and playing the mp3 files straight from SC. Since they sold the platform this changed and the dorext file access was closed, files are now splitted and inaccessible to third party players.
So i don’t know what you’re looking to achieve from this thread, but SoundCloud is not a professional podcasting hosting platform.
First of all I dont want anything from you I just replied to your suggestions regarding hosting servicers. And my videos are just 15% heavier than mp3’s because they just have a picture over audio done with ffmpeg. So If I use 2TB of these then I need 1.8TB for mp3’s. The video is totally reencoded. Also the original discussion was about audios and soundcloud… not sure how now is about videos 
We don’t sell streaming services so have no advantage in suggesting one service compared to another, for is is a matter of what you an or cannot do with the service you use.
If you stream videos this makes absolutely NO difference since whatever platform you go with, you’ll basically embed a third party player, which video streaming requires a dedicated video platform.
While for audio that’s very different and you could also host mp3s in your own server, even though third party hosting services give you a better quality of streaming and more space/bandwidth than a website hosting does. So it’s actually not costing a fortune, instead is LESS expensive than hosting mp3 podcast files on your own hosting.
Now you move the discussion about videos which sincerely I don’t understand how is connected with the initial ticket…
Ok, my mp3 song is 8mb and the video version of it with a still picture is 10mb. So Vimeo platform informs me of a 2TB bandwidth use within a month. Do the simple calculations. Using a 240 video quality with 192 mp3 audio is around the same either with video or with audio. So as I have only music tracks I was looking for a way to use mp3s instead of video versions of my music and have low monthly costs. It’s all about kbps at the very end. All hosting servers including the ones you suggested are costing a fortune. I was looking to your theme app in here but it is all up to the hosting servers for my music and its monthly costs. I don’t know what else to say.
It’s great to have a framing of the requirements… If the track is this size, the best option is for sure to host it in the same server of the website. Actually a streaming hosting is more recommended in case of podcasts above 60Mb (1Hour) while for smaller files they can be hosted in the same wordpress hsoting site without problems.
Streaming hosting is way more expensive than website hosting, because it handles fiels differently, but for small files like that it’s indeed not required.

Ajax is always on. If you’re logged as administrator pages are loading normally otherwise the editing may not work correctly. So you can just log out or try from another browser to verify the functioning of ajax.
