Hello, pre-sales questions.
I’m looking into this theme to build a website where users would pay a recurring fee to access certain features (provided by other plugins, or custom-made plugins). Some of these features include them being able to provide custom links to their own customers (something like mywebsite.com/premium-user-john) to – for instance – purchase certain services from them.
My questions are:
1. Is this system of “paying to become premium user with access to front-end management pages” already built-in, or would it require additional coding or plugins?
2. Does the theme support different levels of premium accounts?
3. Does the theme support different users sharing the same subscription?
4. Is the feature of sharing a public page with each premium user’s own clients already somehow built in?
5. Are premium users’ frontend private pages customisable?
6. Are all theme functions pluggable, in case I need to tweak some functionalities?

Hi there,
1) No this is not built into the theme. The theme is fully compatible with the Paid Memberships Pro plugin which allows you to create custom membership levels which can have a recurring subscription fee. The plugin allows you to restrict access to pages/content based on the membership level. The theme adds additional membership level access options for BuddyPress and Elementor .
2) You can create different levels are different prices using the PMPro plugin.
3) Multiple users can be subscribed to the same level.
4) The theme doesn’t have this feature and neither does PMPro. You could use BuddyPress to give each user a profile page, but if you only want to restrict it to premium users it would require customisation, which you can hire me to do.
5) As I say the theme doesn’t offer this. BP profile pages are not customisable by users. This would require customisation again.
6) I don’t know what you mean by pluggable. As these feature come from the PMPro you would need to refer to their documentation for overwriting functions/filters etc.

Does this theme have your “Ultimate Reviewer” plugin included?
Would this be useful for a location directory review website? Similar to ‘Trip Advisor’? If so what Prebuilt Website would you recommend?

Can you filter the games according to the user ratings of custom criterions in the Light Gaming Review template ? Like if I want to create a “soundtrack” criterion, and allow the users to rate it, will I also be able to make them filter the games displayed on the “Games” page according to the quality of the soundtrack decided by the other users ? I would like my website to be user driven, therefore I do not want to rate the games myself, but that would requiere custom criterions

Yes you can filter by the average of each individual user rating criterion in the Attributes Filter element. So “Soundtrack” can be filtered by individually.

The theme so far works OK. It’s not a theme issue but the website I want to create that it is a complicated and theme needs a lot custom develpement.

As I say refunds unfortunately cannot be issued if you just don’t want to use the theme anymore. With digital products you still have a copy of the theme which is why refunds are not issued.
Magzine is an incredibly versatile theme, if you let me know via a support ticket what custom development you need I can see if the theme can do it. If it can’t I can give you a quote for the how much this would take to implement with Magzine.

Looks like some great themes! Interested in the Listing demo but is there an employer demo account that we can login to see what the employer would see? Also, is there the ability to filter jobs by location? Does the theme support geolocation?

You can login with the following Employer details:

Employer and Employees see a very similar interface in the demo. They have different profile menu options and employees do not have access to the submit a listing menu/page.
You can filter jobs by predefined locations e.g. provide dropdown list of locations to the submit listing form and then add a filter to select between these locations. There is no geolocation support but this can be added as custom work if you’re interested please let me know.
If I would to buy this theme, could I get the hubs to work with WP automatic plugin to add the videos or articles to the proper hubs?

Yes I don’t see why not. Hubs can display any type of content so this should work.
Is there a way to do it automatically or do I have to do it manually?
I am looking to add my content from my youtube channel to my website, and use the hubs to align with those videos. I am wanting it to be done automatically with WP automatic if possible.
I know the plugin does have custom field options.
Videos are displayed inside posts which are then associated with hub posts using custom fields.
So the videos would need to be inside a post (or any post type) in order to display on hubs using an automatic plugin.
Is there a way to assign them to the hub through the plugin that adds content from youtube to my site?
I can’t say for sure because I have not used this plugin with the theme. You would need to find out if the plugin allows adding content from YouTube and then you may also require customisation of the theme to add this as a hub page.

Yeah, the plugin does allow custom fields. I didn’t know if the Hub page uses a custom field to attach the post to it or not.

Yes you create different member types using BuddyPress. An example is shown in the Listing demo (https://magzine.ghostpool.com/listings) where there are Employer and Employee member types.
Theme speed depends on a number of factors not controlled by the theme such as your web host. But genrally the theme has good page speed scores: https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-magzine-ghostpool-com-listings/hqfxcee8el?form_factor=desktop
The theme uses good SEO practices but I also recommend using Yoast SEO plugin with this theme.
I have a couple of questions I hope you can help with.
It is possible for users to sign up with social logins (google, facebook, twitter)?
Also I see you have users submit guest reviews. Do these go through an approval process (like comments on a blog post), so you can censor spam etc.
Alternatively, is it easy to ensure only registered/approved users can post reviews?

1) The theme is compatible with the Super Socializer plugin to allow users to sign up with social logins such as Google, Facebook and Twitter.
2) You can set it so post submissions require approval before they are posted.
3) You can set post submissions to logged in users only.

Pre-sale question… I’m already a happy Aardvark user. I’m looking to create a heterosexual dating website. Is it possible to make the theme only show Females to Males and Males to Females in the Members section (logged in), and is it also possible to automatically have new registered users only allow “looking for” to the opposite gender of the one they’ve selected? This is a feature of the theme, not PMPro, so you would certainly ask me.
Yes you can have it so only the opposite sex is shown for each other (M/F and F/M).
You can set the default member page display e.g. only showing opposite sex. And then you can simply remove/not add the Looking For search option so the user cannot change this.

1. Will it be difficult to run another type of affiliate site with this theme, are things hard coded and not customizable?
2. Can I change the urls of all the pages? Let’s say I want to run a casino affiliate site, then instead of having /shop or /products, I want the url to be /casinos or something like that instead.
3. Can I change the text on all the buttons and add external links to them?
4. Can I edit all the texts everywhere or are there some limitations, things that cannot be edited?
5. Does it come with an Ajax search function?
6. Can I remove the shopping carts and other things I don’t need?

1) I’m not sure what you mean by “another” type of affiliate site? Are you referring to the affiliate examples in some of the demos? The theme is very customisable, but in terms of what is hard coded, in order to answer that I need to know what “things” you’re referring to?

4) Yes. All the pages are built with Elementor. You can edit anything on any page with Elementor.

On point 1. Is it possible to run a Casino affiliate site using this theme? I guess anything will be possible right according to the product description?
So for example, the review pages will be for Casino reviews, and for the buttons where it says buy product, it will say read review and take you to the Casino review.
On point 2. I don’t intend to use WooCommerce, I just want to know if I change the urls to anything I want?

Is it also possible to add a button or more text on top of the Featured slide show carousel in the game affiliate theme? Or can only the title of the game show at the button like it showing now.
For example this one: Minecraft PC (Java Edition), can another text be added under plus a button, or maybe in the middle of the image?

Yes all of this is possible. You can add/delete/move everything around.
The theme offers so much customisability with the page builder. I will say there is a bit of a learning curve to this but once you get it you can do so much with this theme. Are you familiar with Elementor page builder?

Yes it is all drag and drop and no coding is required.
