After updating the WordPress to the 6.3 version the website crashed. Tried to debug things deactivating plugins/template and it seems to be compatibility problem with GDLR Hotel and Hostel plugins:

Hi, I installed the theme and try to exchange the pictures in a gallery. Why are images a bit blurry when they are embedded in the gallery? In the media library they are still completely sharp.

Unfortunately the website isn’t online yet, so I can’t send a link.
I have exactly the same settings as your template “Gallery 3 Colums with caption”. Now I’ve just noticed that all the images in your template are also slightly blurred, e.g. the pictures of the rooms. Only when you click on the picture to see it larger it is sharp.
Is it possible to change that somewhere so that the preview image is already sharp?
Unfortunately, it doesn’t work for me to enlarge the image when I click on it. Where can you adjust this?

You should not have issues if you are using the same settings.
Try regenerating the thumbnails using a plugin like this and see if it helps: https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
If that didn’t help, we will need to look at the page to see what’s causing this issue.
This is a good theme and also quite well documented. Once you figure out how their theme builder works the rest is quite atraight forward and detailed. I’m only trying to figure out how to activate the theme with purchase code as the theme deactivates once I’m out of backend. I created a support ticket #3427703. Kindly help

You can use this option to sync your bookings with 3rd party services like Airbnb.
To use it, you need to add the ical URL from the 3rd party websites in the theme and add the URL from the theme into the 3rd party websites.

I have some pre-sales questions. I have looked at the description of your plugin, but I’m not sure if it fits to our scenario here. Could you help me, please? These are very specific to our situation, so don’t worry if your plugin doesn’t cover everything.
Situation: I have a project that receives people only when we have events. It is a project that has 3 hostels of different sizes and features. There are different kinds of events and, therefore, the price to visit and to sleep here are different according to each event. If someone wants to sleep here, he cannot sleep on varied dates. They will pay the price of the total event and enjoy all the perks of the event.
For example: There are 2 events in a given month. 1. The first event costs $100 to visit and $350 to sleep the 3 days of the event. 2. The second event costs $70 to visit and $600 to sleep the 7 days of the event.
We would like to know if it is possibile to do the following with your plugin:
1. Rent entire hostel, room or only beds: we have family and group options to rent not only the bed, but the entire room or the entire hostel for the event. Each with its own prices.
Something like this:
- Category: Hostel ($1500)
- Sub-category: Rooms ($1000)
—- Items: Beds ($350)
The person can rent just a bed for the duration of the event, they can rent the room for their family for the duration of the event or they can rent the entire hostel for their group for the duration of the event. It can’t be less than the duration of the event. They can always checkout early if they wish, but they can’t purchase fewer days than the event’s duration unless the event allow it.
For example: In an event of 10 days, you can stay 10 or 5 sequential days. There would be two options when deciding to rent the bed/room/hostel.
Something like this:
- Category: Hostel (10 days – $1500; 5 days – $900)
- Sub-category: Rooms (10 days – $1000; 5 days – $600)
—- Items: Beds (10 days – $350; 5 days – $250)
2. Sell participation tickets for those who will be here to visit. Somebody can buy the pass for only one day (whichever day they wish to participate). Possible to buy multiple passes (for example, I can only visit the place on monday, wednesday and friday).
3. Option to add items they consume here (like books, soda, etc). Point of sale, for example. Items tied to the person’s expense history.
4. Possibility to only allow purchase of fixed dates of the event. For example, if the event is for 3 days, somebody can’t rent a room for only 1 day. They can only buy the full packet of 3 days for X price.
5. Allow people to manage their bookings and payments.
I understand these are very specific and the plugin may not cover every aspect. If you could just inform me what can e done, I’d be very grateful. Thank you ahead of time for your time and work.

We provide options to rent beds and rooms, there’s no option to rent the entire hostel, this has to be added as a room.
Sorry, there’s no option to limit the stay to sequential days. You can set a minimum night stay though.
There’s option to sell the tickets or items, these have to be sold as a service along with the rooms/beds or sold separately using a plugin like woocommerce.

was going through your theme with a friend and the issue was not been able to receive email from contact form and also not receiving email when someone book a room and the customer wont receive either. the theme is latest version.
And it looks like instant payment calculates based on the dollar or supported currency. it doesn’t have a currency conversion rate. example, if you have set your currency symbol to GHC or GH₵ and the amount for room is GH₵100 will it be calculating as GH₵100 when using instant payment like PayPal etc. or it will be calculating as $100 ?? the currency conversion is different.

The issue is that he is working on the theme on local server. I’m not the one that bought the theme, he is the one, but I have a bit programming knowledge than him. So if I can know the possible issue to that. Me and him can table it out before it goes online.

HI. Sorry for writing again but I have problems with the reservation system. After selecting guest dates I have results and then as I select the room it goes smoothly. After selecting the additional services it freezes and remains loading. Advice? If I disable the services it works.

- For the ‘goodlayers lms’ plugin, you need to save the LMS option as well once after the plugin has been activated. I don’t have any plugin with this name. I also don’t have the option to enter the purchase code. I bought the theme a few years ago and I don’t know if it’s registered and if I have to enter it every time I install the theme.
These steps don’t apply to the hotelmaster theme, please ignore them.

Hi, ever since I updated Master Slider to 3.6.5 I’m facing a weird issue on my website using your theme. Whenever I make any changes and update any page on my website, once I publish it, any page that has the master slider, image slider or any other slider stops displaying them along with any other icons being used on that page. The only way to get the pages back to full functionality is to deactivate the Master Slider plugin and then reactivate it.
Can you let me know what I can do to correct this issue?

Hello, after the update I still have a problem with the translation of the texts, see picture. They cannot be translated anywhere. I tried to translate them through POET through LOCO. The whole site is fine, only these important words are still wrong. The original version before the update translated well. I tried editing the files directly here as well (\wp-content\plugins\gdlr-hotel\include\gdlr-booking-item.php), but nothing happened. Can you please advise me clearly?
Next, I have a request. Where can I find in the administration the option to edit the booking page and e-mails for the reservation made?

The booking page options can be found on the wp-admin > hotel options page. The email text can be changed using a translating method like poedit or the loco translate plugin.

It looks like you are still using an older version of the masterslider plugin. Could you try updating it following these steps:
To update plugin that comes with our theme. 1.) Go to ‘Plugin > Install Plugins’ and delete the plugin you want to update out. (For Revolution Slider, Layer Slider and Maser Slider, we suggest you to back up slider by exporting the slider content first.)
2.) Go to ‘Appearance > Install Plugins’ section then, install the plugin you want.
3.) Activate the plugin.
