Updating the theme from 3.5 to the latest version completely breaks the site layout, is there a way to prevent this from happening? Even tho we bought the licence outside of support I feel this is never supposed to happen. We need to the new theme update to run on a newer php version.

there seems to be a problem with that Service Pro element an PHP 8.x No content (except some parts of the head area) is displayed on pages where Service-Pro from the Violett Collection was used. The problem occurs as soon as I insert normal text into the “Description” field of the Service Pro element.
Wordpress-Version 6.0.3 ND Short Version 6.7 Theme Version 4.5 (despite theme update, the version number did not change, functions.php is from 01/11/2023) PHP 7.4 in use PHP 8.1 desired version
The error message I get while debugging is as follows: Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Unsupported operand types: string + int in /homepages/xxxxx/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/nd-shortcodes/shortcodes/custom/service-pro/index.php: ... and so on.
