If using Paid Membership Pro, and a different theme, am I able to isolate the ability to create courses to a paid membership? The documentation mentions checking a box on the registration form if interested in becoming an instructor but I don’t want this option visible. Members will register with a free account and if interested in creating courses will need to upgrade to the Instructor membership. Is this possible using the latest version of this plugin? Any responses appreciated.
Be cool if there was a shortcode allowing me to place a form for instructors on a separate page available to Instructors as the last thing I’d want to do is have to manually assign this role to users.
I understand what you’re saying but Paid Membership Pro uses roles allowing isolation/access based on that role. If I create a site for Doctors and I only want them to create courses then I have a Doctors membership. Visitors, non doctors, seeking a doctor can use their courses as a possible verifier over other doctors. These visitors, non-doctors, don’t need the option to create courses because if it’s available they’ll use it to create what essentially are ‘spam’ courses. Also why I’d charge a different price for Doctors vs non doctors. I’ll figure it out. Thanks!
Please kindly note that in our theme the Paid Membership Pro plugin is only for creating plans and subscriptions for courses with plans. The user roles of the LMS couldn’t be set based on the user roles of the Paid Membership Pro plugin by default. You can simply set the Instructor user role in the user’s section in wp-admin for those who can create courses on your site

We are highly recommend you to create backup of your site. Please activate both WPBakery Page Builder and Elementor plugins.
Note: Not all converted modules will be the same as they were in Visual Composer, due to some differences between plugins. But we will take care about almost all aspects of your content. After the patch we dont recommend to use both Builders, as it reflects on the site speed.

While if those won’t satisfy your personal requirments, you can use another payment method, you can simply activate the Woocommerce checkout (LMS settings > general > enable Woocommerce checkout), there won’t be any restrictions with the LMS platform if your wanted payment method supports the Woocommerce plugin. The Curl errors refer to the server-side configurations. You need to contact your hosting provider team directly, the issue comes from your hosting provider.
In most cases, that kind of issue occurs because your server is blocked for external CURL calls. This needs to be checked with your hosting service since this configuration cannot be modified without administrator access to the machine. I’d suggest you get in touch with them and ask if there are any restrictions on CURL calls or even firewall rules to block outgoing requests like that.

I tried to upload the masterstduy api app plugin onto the theme and it keeps saying Failed: Plugin not found. I do not know whether I am supposed to unpack the zip file and upload a smaller file inside. I tried doing that it keeps giving the same failed message. Your zip file contains EVERYTHING, including purchase code documents, is there anyway to separate the plugin file that needs to be uploaded from everything else so we know what file we are uploading.

You need to find the zip file or the folder with the name like masterstudy api app. Please note that in order to get this .zip you should purchase the MasterStudy mobile APP. The MobileApp zip will include the plugin .zip file. The theme .zip won’t include the MobileApp API plugin by default.
