Hello,

About a year ago, I contacted support regarding an issue that occurred after a theme update. The problem was the disappearance of the login button that allowed users to log in without leaving the current page — it used to open a pop-up form (modal) instead of redirecting to a separate login page.

At that time, support replied that the issue was not important and suggested that I could simply add a login button linked to the login page from the menu — as if I didn’t already know that workaround.

Now, I need to raise this again: Are we supposed to lose an existing feature after every update ? If I don’t have a dedicated technical team constantly monitoring the site, this login button could suddenly disappear , and I would lose many customers — simply because your support team believes such an issue is not worth to resolve.

I request that the original functionality (inline pop‑up login form without page redirection) be restored or officially confirmed as deprecated so I can plan accordingly.

Regarding the pop-up login functionality, over time the theme has shifted toward more standardized WordPress login flows to ensure better compatibility with plugins, security updates, and overall stability. Because of this, some earlier behaviors (like inline modal login) were adjusted.

At the moment, this specific functionality is not included in our current development priorities, mainly because most recent updates are focused on stability and adding new features. That said, we’ve noted your feedback, it’s definitely valuable and helps us better understand real use cases.

I was not able to activate my license – I get “Activation alert: cURL error 7:” when i try to activate it. Could you please help? I have no way to see if i activated it in the past, could you please deactivate if there is one.

hi! , my license includes a domain that no longer exists. I need to deactivate the domain merywolfdesign.com because it’s no longer registered and has been cancelled. The domain maternidadyfitness is the one with the active license.

How can a multi-currency course platform be implemented?

If i buy this theme and use vimeo for my paid courses then in vimeo video setting which status i need to keep of video course link… 1. Unlisted, 2. Public, 3. Private, 4. Password, 5. Hide from Vimeo….as i have to then think of buying vimeo upgraded plans as per the status which ever is need to play video only for my customers who paid me for the service.

Hi! The Zoom plugin isn’t working on my website. Meet works perfectly, but Zoom doesn’t, and I need it to work. I don’t get any specific error message when I try to configure it; the option simply doesn’t appear in the menu. The website says it’s an error on their end.

The problem persists, but I can’t submit a ticket. The website clearly states it’s a problem on our end. I’ve activated Zoom, but it won’t even let me configure it. I need this resolved urgently.

Hello, I purchased the MasterStudy theme on Envato Market (ThemeForest) and I need your help to deactivate my license on two domains. I no longer have access to these websites and cannot deactivate the license myself:

Yes, but I activated the license on the active domain eclatsdesign.com. However, the website that was installed on it, and on which I activated the license, has been overwritten. This means I can no longer access the website’s admin panel to deactivate the license, but the domain itself is still active. I want to deactivate this license on that domain so I can use it on another active domain; that’s what I’m asking.

Course content, including quizzes and assignments, becomes available automatically after the course is purchased. Yes, the system supports a secure paid course model. Only students who have purchased a course can access it, unless you explicitly make the course free or provide trial lessons.

Regarding content protection, there are no built-in features to prevent downloading or screen recording. However, this can be implemented using third-party plugins or external services.

As for video handling, by default videos are hosted on your website server. That said, we strongly recommend using platforms like YouTube or Vimeo to avoid quickly filling up your server storage and to ensure better performance.

There is no native integration with cloud storage services like Amazon S3. However, this can be achieved using third-party plugins or through custom development if needed.

If you have specific security requirements, we can also advise on possible setups.

Not all payment gateways automatically change the order status after a successful payment. Some of them require manual verification, which is why you may need to approve the order from the admin panel.

In general, once the payment is completed and the order status is marked as “Completed”, the system triggers access automatically and the student should be able to start the course without any additional steps.

If this is not happening on your website, then something in your specific setup may be interfering with the process. In that case, we would need to check your site directly.

It depends on the payment method you’re using. In many cases, the order status will change to “Completed” automatically once the payment is successful.

However, if your payment gateway keeps orders in a “Processing” state (which can happen with certain methods), the student won’t get access until the status is changed to “Completed.” If that happens, you can actually use a third-party plugin designed to automatically mark orders as “Completed” for digital products. This would ensure your students get immediate access without any manual work on your end.

Pre-sales questions about MasterStudy LMS + WooCommerce integration and migration

We are evaluating the purchase of a lifetime license of MasterStudy LMS and I would like to clarify a few important technical aspects before proceeding.

We currently run an e-learning platform based on Moodle, integrated with WooCommerce through Edwiser Bridge. Our goal is to completely replace both Moodle and Edwiser Bridge using MasterStudy LMS.

We already had the opportunity to test your plugin through the MasterStudy Education Theme (Item Purchase Code: abd11ed9-2003-4232-b0f8-8f26fd0f5477), so we are familiar with its general workflow.

All our courses are currently structured as WooCommerce products, and we would like to keep this setup unchanged.

We would like to clarify the following:

1. WooCommerce product integration After installing MasterStudy LMS, is it possible to link a course directly inside the WooCommerce product page (backend), through a dedicated section similar to the one available in your theme (e.g. “Course Link / URL / Button text”)?

2. Using WooCommerce as checkout Can WooCommerce be used as the checkout system while maintaining correct synchronization between:

  • purchase
  • course access
  • user enrollment

3. “Subscription” addon (installment payments) We noticed that your plugin includes an addon called “Subscription” (available in the PLUS package), which allows selling courses in installments.

Is it possible to use this installment payment system together with WooCommerce checkout? Or is this feature only available through the native MasterStudy checkout?

4. Existing users and course access migration We already have an active platform with many users who purchased courses and currently access them via Moodle.

When migrating to MasterStudy LMS, we will recreate the same courses, but we need to assign each existing user to the correct courses they have already purchased.

Is there a way to import:

for example via CSV or another bulk method?

We want to avoid a manual assignment process, as it would be extremely time-consuming given the number of users and courses.

1. We updated our architecture to move away from duplicating courses as WooCommerce products. This was done to optimize performance and provide a much cleaner user experience. However, you can still absolutely display your courses within the WooCommerce shop page. 2. Yes, MasterStudy LMS integrates fully with the WooCommerce checkout system. When a student purchases a course through your WooCommerce Checkout, the system handles the synchronization automatically. Once the payment is marked as “Completed” in WooCommerce Orders, the student is automatically granted access to the course content.

3. MasterStudy offers two types of subscription models: our Native Subscription (included in the Pro Plus package) and the Paid Memberships Pro integration. It is important to note that both of these methods use their own native payment gateways and operate independently of the WooCommerce checkout process. 4. You can definitely migrate your users without having to assign them manually. My recommendation is a two-step approach. Second, you can use our built-in CSV import tool to bulk-enroll those users into their specific courses. Please keep in mind that while this will migrate the users and their access, their specific course progress will not be preserved in the move.

I tried embedding a form for this purpose, but some users skipped it, and there’s no way to check whether the form was filled out. Matching the external form to the correct user was challenging. For now, I just have to be content with the ‘open-ended’ way.

I’m using MasterStudy LMS with WPML on campfirecreatives.org. The post type stm-courses is working in the back end, and courses are published, but single course URLs under /courses/ are not resolving as expected. Example URL (English): https://campfirecreatives.org/courses/game-development-foundations/ Without any custom mu-plugins, this URL either shows “No result has been found. Please check for correctness.” or a 404, even though the course post exists and is published. This 404 has been plaguing me for weeks now.

I added a diagnostic logger in template_redirect that dumps the main query for this URL. Here is the relevant CFC_COURSE_404_DEBUG output when requesting /courses/game-development-foundations/:

stm-courses = game-development-foundations in query_vars

stm_cpt_registered = 1 and stm_cpt_query_var = stm-courses

But post_type is empty, name is empty, and is_singular is false

The main SQL query is a generic WPML posts query (for post_type = ‘post’) instead of a single stm-courses lookup.

So WordPress is seeing the stm-courses slug as a query var, and the CPT is registered, but the main query never becomes a single stm-courses post for /courses/ slug / when WPML is active. As a temporary workaround, I’ve added a small mu-plugin that, on template_redirect, checks for /courses/slug/, looks up the corresponding stm-courses post by post_name, and replaces $wp_query->queried_object with that post. This makes the course page render correctly with header/footer, but obviously it’s just a shim. Questions:

Is there an official way (or known issue) for ensuring single stm-courses URLs under /courses/ stm-courses / resolve correctly when WPML is active?

Can you provide a code snippet or guidance so that the core MasterStudy rewrite/query logic reliably sets post_type = stm-courses and name = <slug> for these URLs, without needing a custom mu-plugin?

It’s also crucial that the slug itself is correctly translated inside the WPML settings so the system knows how to handle the /courses/ path in different languages.
