Hello! I would like to see Elementor’s element management since lately the themes come complete more by “Section” than by separate elements and this complicates things a lot.

1.Could you please explain me how to edit the top bar, it doesn’t work in Elementor!! 2. If I deactivate the license and want to activate it again (same domain), it doesn’t work.

1) Go to Shock Theme > Global Sections find your Top Bar in the list and click Edit with Elementor. Read more: https://shock.codings.dev/docs/global-sections
2) Is there any message when activating your license? Basically, you can click disable, then click enable. That should work. You can use the license as many times as you want, change the domain and reactivate, as long as you have 1 site per license.
Regarding point 1. it was meant ( Navbar Extended – Tertiary Color, Text White) that the top bar in elementor cannot be edited there

Thank you for your reply. Re point 1: If you roll back from the current Elementor version 3.15.1 to 3.14x, you can edit the settings in Elementor. Everything else was clear to us, so it’s up to the Elementor version, you should adapt your theme/core to the latest version of Elementor. On point 2. Yes, we mean the message. Once you have deactivated it, you cannot reactivate it on the respective domain.

This new version of Elementor is a basic and there were no major changes to the point of impacting custom post editing.

Thanks a lot for your answer. I’m not online on the server in the office at the moment, but I’ll briefly describe the problem: We wanted to edit a header with a top bar, for example changing the phone number: Global Sections; header with top bar; edit navbar; edit content under tab Content/Topbar and now the problem arises, you cannot edit the content (e.g. change phone number) with Elementor version 3.15.1 it is not editable !! , with the 3.14 version of Elementor this is possible. I mean you had 3 or 4 headers with a top bar demo in the global sections. Editing with Elementor 3.15.1 was possible with a header version, but not with the other top bar versions.

Perhaps there is some conflict with one of your plugins. Try disabling all but the ones the theme requires, and see if that fixes it. If so, just activate one plugin at a time to find out which one is causing it.

Hello. We have just set this theme up however there are issues with the Menus on a few pages. The menu on a page is the default and should have white text. But it does not. And on the home page the menu type is set to oveerride and should be a dark background dropdown, but it is not. Could you assist? Thanks

In Shock Theme > Global Sections you must choose where your menus (Navbar) should be displayed. Note that there is not more than one menu set to be displayed on the same page. It only needs to be 1 per page ok?

Unfortunately, this problem is not caused by the backup plugin. And the plugin works correctly on other sites. Please try this process of backing up and transferring the site to another server to figure out this problem.

When building your site, and editing with Elementor, images are saved like this: https://YOUR-LOCAL-SITE.com/image.png
When importing to a site with subdirectory, for example https://YOUR-ONLINE-URL.com/folder Duplicator PRO should update in the database all image paths to https://YOUR-ONLINE-URL.com/folder/image.png
Why doesn’t he do this? If you can contact plugin support they may have a solution.
Alternatively, the easiest fix method is to edit the site and adjust the images.

Probably your site/server is blocking the request. Some web hosting services have a firewall or other add-on that prevents requests from working as expected.
In this case, install the plugins manually. They are in the plugins folder of the package you download from ThemeForest, read more: https://shock.codings.dev/docs/#section-4
To install a plugin just go to Plugins > Add New > Upload and upload the plugin zip file.

Please note that this is not a theme issue, which works perfectly on WordPress ready servers.
Unfortunately your server prevents you from using “1-click import”. This is a common issue, read more: https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/curl-error-28/
The best alternative is to import the XML file manually from your WordPress dashboard > Tools > Import. For that, please send us an email to adm.codings@gmail.com so that we can send you the XML files of the demos.

Please try updating the theme manually:
1) Download the package from ThemeForest: https://themeforest.net/downloads
2) Extract the package and save the shock.zip file.
3) From your WordPress dashboard go to Appearance > Theme > Add New and upload the shock.zip file, confirm the update, check in Appearance Theme if you have successfully updated to 1.0.3.
This should work.

Forgive me if I am missing something, but typically when you import demo sites it changes the site and then you begin modifying everything to fit your needs. Starting with the demo site as a base template. It does not appear that way with this theme, or am I missing something?
We also contacted you regarding questions before purchasing. We asked if the preview site was part of the theme, because we didn’t see it in the demo sites. We were told it was but it is no where to be found. This is what we are referencing:

We had an issue during installation which prevented us from deactivating the license before reinstallation. This wasn’t the fault of the theme, it was an error on our side. However, now it wont let me enter my license key because it says the key is already in use.
