I want to purchase this theme, and i have only one question.
A theme i’m already using has an issue on the collection page/Filter page where if a product’s one variant (i.e. ‘L’) is ‘out-of-stock’ but other variants are available (M or S). Now if someone selects that specific variant (L) and selects (‘in-stock’) in the filter, it still shows that product in filtered results.
I’ll buy instantly if you ensure Ella won’t have this problem. Note: I’ll use the dynamic filter, NOT the tags filter.

Ella theme comes with multiple layouts with a lot of functions, you should check on another device with a stronger configuration to see if the problem still happens. Firstly, I appreciate your response. However, I’d like to stress that I’ve already conducted tests on several high-performance devices, including the iPhone 13, 14, Macbook Pro M1, and M2. Unfortunately, all of these devices presented the same issue when using the Ella theme.
While I understand that the Ella theme offers multiple layouts and functionalities, I believe that the theme should run smoothly across a broad range of devices, not just on the most high-end configurations. This problem could be detrimental to the experience of many users who may be using older or less powerful devices.
I’d strongly suggest that your development team delve deeper into this and optimize the theme, ensuring that it provides the best possible experience for all users.

Thank you for letting us know your concerns. However, you know that we has released Ella 6 about 1 year. Before we release a theme, our tester team always test the theme on multiple devices. We also are using iPhone 14 pro max or MacBook Pro or other devices like Samsung tablet/ phones and no issue like this happens.
If you think it relates to speed performance, we also tested it with other themes or test it with an old version of ella too.
Our developer team will keep an eyes on this matter and will keep you update if we encounter this issue. Please rest assure that we always will have high priority for this best selling theme to make sure we are providing a good theme for our merchants.

I want the layout of the product page to be pictures and copywriting to be arranged left and right, so I set it up according to the documentation you provided (documentation link “https://halosoft.gitbook.io/ella-documentation/product-page/demo- and-settings-data). But after the code is pasted, I will always be reminded when saving that “Partition type ‘Product Recently Viewed’ cannot refer to an existing partition file”, so the code cannot be saved. For some reason, when I try to save, I get this error: settings mg_top_mobile must be a step in the range. How can I fix this? I think there is something wrong with the code available in the documentation.

I fixed it, there was a mg_top_mobile set to 9, I rounded it up to 10 and it worked. You might want to fix it in the documentation too

Notification: Store Preview and Dashboard Update Issue within Shopify Theme Editor

We are writing to inform you about a recent issue that some of our customers have encountered while editing their stores.
It has come to our attention that when making changes to your store and attempting to preview them, the preview page may not load properly. Additionally, there have been reports of delays in changes taking effect, with some changes reverting back to the default settings upon reloading the dashboard.
We have checked and figured out this issue is happenning on all shopify themes such as Dawn, themes on Shopify theme store and on our theme too. We think it is from the latest update from Shopify these days: Shopify Editions Summer ’23 which has the changes in the dashboard page and other.
We understand how crucial it is to have a smooth and efficient editing experience. Our technical team is actively investigating the root cause of this issue and are trying to contact Shopify support team to address it promptly and prevent similar occurrences in the future.

Hello, I’m using Ella 5.0.7 from early 2022, and I’m ok with this theme. I’d like to know if there are any big differences with ella 6.5 regarding speed and the way Google indexes the site. Because, even if it’s quite fast when i use the versione 5, Shopify rates its speed 32/100, while Pagespeed Insights rates it 50/100 (mobile) and 79/100 (pc), with problems on “Core web vitals” (like First Contentful paint, Speed Index, Total blocking time, etc).
If there is any big difference in how Google rewards the better speed and better core web vitals , i will switch to the new version in the next months, otherwise I’ll wait some other time, maybe until Ella 7. I can’t update very often the theme, because there are a lot of things to change and translate, so i’d like to change only if there are a lot of benefits.
