Hello, I am planning something with your fox bern theme, and will purchase soon, but it is not seen in the demos. Only available when typing url; https://thefox.withemes.com/bern/
Did you removed it from the ‘downloadable demo versions’. Is there any compatibility issues specific to the theme ? I need that particular theme when I purchase. Please clarify.

Bern demo is currently disabled for maintainance. Currently, it’s an Elementor demo and It’ll be back in non-Elementor form. It’s still available for existing customers, only not for new customers.

I’m sending a SOS from vacation. I just noticed that the sidebar is not really visible if I visit my website on a mobile phone (tabled works fine). I switched the demo to “Food” a few days ago and added some extra CSS, and just the moment I posted a referee appreciation post and expect tons of viewers I see that “drama”.

We love each updates for the Fox! Thank you and also we are waiting for Paywall via Woocommerce (its soooo important for the countries where PayPal/Stripe are not supported yet) and “Currently reading title for the article” (from your changelog). Also, whats about horizontal scrolling for the menu items from mobile experience? If you need, I can share other themes, where this feature is already made. Thank you.

Word of appreciation to Cuong Tran. Version 6 is definitely an improvement and makes the theme more future proof. Small problems that arise from switching from 5 to 6 are further adequately and competently resolved. Every reason here to stay with The Fox. Thumbs up!

Hi, why my support tickets are unanswered? Its been over 3 days. This is the second time I am posting a comment here. Very poor support.
The New update is breaking all my customisations. Atleast keep the previous CSS selectors, IDs intact for new updates. If you are going to change them every now and then, we will face this issues everytime we update the theme.

Apologize for the delay in your response. We were under heavy load of tickets those days due to Fox v6 updating. This is not to blame, still our fault but just to let you know what’s happenning.
The IDs, CSS selectors have been changed because this is a big update to make site ligher and faster, we reduce unnecessary HTML divs. And old selectors don’t work because It depends on structure and CSS attached to them. Maybe I will make an article explaining this one.
Of course no, we don’t change every single update and we try to avoid this as much as possible.

The import demo isn’t working. I’ve activated the suggested plug ins. This is significantly impacting my launch date. If I purchase something, it should work. I haven’t received a response on my ticket. How do I go about getting a refund? I don’t have time to try and work around a broken theme.

Normally if It shows blank page, it means you haven’t entered the purchase code yet in Dashboard > Fox Magazine. Please check there. If it’s not the case, please provide me with your site login info, I’ll help you to import it.

Hello, could you please tell me what the “most read” set up is on this layout: https://thefox.withemes.com/interior/? I thought it was post group 1 so I tried that but for my site on mobile the smaller posts aren’t full width, whereas on this layout when you go to mobile the smaller posts are the same width as the larger post.

If you’re using Fox v5.x, It’s group 1 with small col is grid 2 cols.
If you’re Fox v6.x, there’s no Group 1 layout

Dark Mode toggle is a part of header element in Fox 6 header builder. We’ll also design a shortcode for it.
The next demo is a clean news site. It’s more like https://www.washingtonpost.com/ or latimes.com and made with Fox 6 builder.

If you activate Elementor + Fox Framework, those demos will be visible. They’re Elementor demos and require Fox Framework plugin to work hence we don’t wanna confuse customers not installed them.

1/ There’s no ETA for next prebuilt websites but in August, we have 1 and we’re developing it already.
Yes, dark mode toggle is wonderful and It’s a feature we wish to have too. You can see list of all features here.
2/ The next one is about newspaper.
3/ Unfortunately I have no preference for this sort plugin. However you can try this one. I see several customers using it.

We had to revert back to 5.5, as we realise also Co-Authors plus creates issue. Unfortunately V6 seems buggy, and a detailed changelog would be great help.

1/ The font upload is still working but It’ll work with a different mechanism. We’ll explain it in our documentation but briefly, you go to Dashboard > Appearance > Custom Fonts then upload your fonts there then your fonts will appear in font select dropdown of Customizer.
This mechanism is born because some customers need different weights. The old way, you have only 1 font weight.
2/ What happened with Co-Authors Plus? You can open a ticket here under category FOX v6.0. It opens for everyone and we accept/resolve all problems concerning v6.x

Hello Cuong Tran, many thanks for your reply. Understood, and we are checking the latest update on staging site.
_Google insight gives %99 for desktop and %83 for mobile, that is pretty good indeed. _Seems custom fonts works better mechanism. (Variations.) _Co Authors were not giving translation string of seperator string but latest update (6.05) did not create the issue.
Some notes/suggestions:
1_The important missing thing is really really better Gutenberg optimization, that would create beautiful user experience in backend editor
2_We need to have the option to set the width size just as we do for narrow width – this is good for Gutenberg core blocks such as Group.
3_Homepage builder would be wonderful if the thumbnail could have duotone just as wordpress core (adding to sepia, or monochrome.)
4_An option to see “You are reading: The name of the article” option in sticky header or topbar in header like in modern publishing tools.

Hi. I dont know if you can help me but I want to use the fox for a new website I have. The old website is no longer accessible since my hosting plan for expired and I decided to migrate my domain. When I did, everything was lost even the posts and everything.
I gave it a few weeks but to no avail. I like the theme but I can’t seem to transfer the domains. By the way, I can’t access the admin dashboard for Market Manifesto.

If the problem is like you described, I think there’s a problem with your hosting or your site has been attacked. The theme will never cause such an error, not only Fox but any theme. You can contact your hosting provider to ask them for recovery.

Hi. Thanks for the response. What I mean is I since deactivated the account already without deactivating the license. The Fox is working good, that’s why i wanna use the license again for another website. I tried using the same purchase key but it says it is still attached to my old website which I deactivated. Hope you can help me recover the purhcase/license key.

The fox search doesn’t seem to be working for my secondary language “Bangla”. I am using Polylang. Can you suggest me a way to enable the search to work with multiple languages?
The search result should only show results based on the which language is currently user on.
Is there any better third party search engine that will work better with your theme and Polylang?

I have checked with The Fox + Polylang and everything is still working well from our end. In fact, the default behaviour of WordPress + Polylang is enough for what you wanted (ie. it shows only results per language instead of the default language). This mechanism doesn’t depend on which theme you’re using.
Please check your site settings or Polylang settings. If it doesn’t work anyway, please open a ticket here we’ll try to test directly on your site.

Please go to Dashboard > FOX Blocks, you’ll see list of posts there. Please edit the Header.
Geek demo header is built from Elementor hence please edit it there instead of in Customizer panel.

Hi I purchased the pine theme and i was wondering how to get 3 different typography’s in the title?. for example i want the first two words bold ,the words in the middle regular and the last word italic. i only see it on the demo post and i don’t know how to do it

_Choose any post layout for single post templates on customizer. _Hide title/thumbnail on particular single post in editor. _Title and Thumbnail still shows up.
This breaks all legacy posts that were designed without title and thumbail.

1 Considering your Fox Bern theme version as our first choice. Do we need Elementor paid version to try all option you given in Fox Bern layouts ? Someone asked to refund here because they compelled to use Elementor paid version to achieve what you built in one the pre-built options. So please give an honest answer about the limits of cutsomizability in Fox Bern with Elementor free version. Please give a detailed reply about what is possible with Elementor free version for Fox Bern theme?
2 How this video thumbnail option works ? Can we have an option to add a thumbnail image separately or only will fetch an image from the video as you mentioned ?
3 Can you add new social media icons for new ‘Threads’ and changed twitter logo ‘X’ also in next update ? Meanwhile how we can add these logos from our side in social links area ?

1/ None of our demos needs Elementor Pro. In fact, The Fox theme demo doesn’t install Elementor Pro and we has never required Elementor Pro and will never require it.
The customer asked for refund because he feels difficult to work with Elementor, it’s not related to Elementor Pro or something.
For possibilities, what you see is what you’ll get. Of course, with Fox + Elementor Free.
2/ It fetches thumbnail from YouTube in first place automatically. Then you can change to your thumbnail later if you want, just like an ordinary post.
3/ This will be added in Fox v6.1 – we’ll provide an option to upload social icon logos by images. Icon fonts for those social icons are not even available yet even from icon font vendors.

Clicking on site’s logo always goes the default language’s home page. But it should go to the home page of the currently selected language. How to do that? I am using polylang.

In half an hour, please go to Dashboard > Fox Magazine > clear cache then go to Fox Magazine > Install plugins to update this plugin to v2.2.0.1, you’ll see an option for the logo to enter custom URL.
