One more Artday site setup question. On your Live Preview site, if you go to SHOP -> DEFAULT SHOP PAGE, a “Our Products” page shows up. I was wondering what element is used to display the Product Categories and “ALL” (right under the background image). Below that is a list of products for the category selected. How do I get that to work correctly. Thanks!
Oops, should have done a little more research on this. I noticed that this same element is used in the FAQ page. It’s the “Tabs” element. Just duplicate the FAQ page and re-configure it for products (FYI for others here).

FYI, I’m curious when you say product categories “should appear automatically” on the “Our Products” page (in your demo). In the download I received (with sample data), this page did NOT show any product categories automatically. It just contained placeholder text. I had to recreate this page using the Tab element. Should this page use the Tab element? I had to manually enter my Categories in each tab…

if this is your shop page then not. As I mentioned categories will appear automatically.
But we have element with tabs, which one is used on FAQ page, in this case you need to create each tab manually.

A couple more setup questions: 1) I’d like to integrate MailChimp with your Contact Form. 1. There are few plugins to do that. You can choose any plugin, they all do the same thing.
2. Simplest way to do that is to disable all the plugins, and the theme will ask you to install/activate all the required and recommended plugins.
3. It’s a simple notice, so you can use the plugin without any worries. We try to keep all the plugins and files up to date with each theme update, so we’ll update them all with next update.

Okay, and what plug-in is required to do the integration with Mailchimp? The one installed with my WooCommerce install was Mailchimp for WooCommerce. Is this one needed if I want to integrate the Artday Contact Form and Newsletter sign-up with Mailchimp?
As i wrote you can use plugin which you like. There is no any required plugins for Mailchimp. All of them make the same functionality, everything depends on your needs.

Ok, maybe I’m missing something on the Artday Contact or Newsletter Forms. I don’t see any way to integrate MailChimp with the Newsletter form, even though your info suggests that you do have this integration in Artday. If I look at the Contact tab in the WP Admin there is a Integration sub-tab, BUT no mention of MailChimp… only Constant Contact. Do I need to create a different form that somehow integrates MailChimp with Artday?
You just need to install any plugin you like. I use this plugins, I like it https://wordpress.org/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/
This will allow you to make integration for all your forms.

Wondering which editor to use? Your documentation mentions “our theme is using Visual Composer Page Builder”, but the Artday theme install requires the WPBakery Visual Composer plug-in. Are both needed?

I have an issue where Product Options on a WC Product page are being displayed twice. I can provide more info if needed, but basically it has to do with the coding in the page at “themes/artday/woocommerce/single-product/add-to-cart/simple.php”. In that page the tag “do_action( ‘woocommerce_before_add_to_cart_button’ );” is called twice… once on line 34 and then again on line 38. Can you provide a fix for this? I’m happy tell you how I uncovered this, but this is something that should be fixed on your end. Thank you!

Just bought Artday… The online info says that it comes with Visual Composer… which it didn’t. Instead I’m getting prompted that “WPBakery Visual Composer” is Required. Is this the same as “Visual Composer”? They seem to be separate plug-ins.
In addition. The new Artday install is using an outdated version of WPBakery. Can I get the updated version of this plug-in from you? The WPBakery info states that I need to get the updated version from you (see https://support.wpbakery.com/support/topic/29)

you don’t need to buy nothing separately all the plugins are already included with the theme package. And you don’t need any keys plugins as you for, you have bundled plugin and it’s more than enough.

Hmm. I followed the instructions, but for some reason many of the site images did not get included. For example none of the background, category or product images on the sample page at https://wossthemes.com/artday/one-page/ were included. Are they supposed to be… they aren’t included with Demo content in the download file.
One thing regarding the demo content. As you know following the Envato rules all themes here on Themeforest are sold without images, they are for preview only. Themes with included images simply are not allowed to marketplace. Well all the authors replace images with image holders for easiest work with them. Well you just need to replace the image holders with your own images. But small trick here, we can’t include images in theme package but you can download them from our preview.

1. You can make all the changes in CSS, but don’t forget to clear the cache to see this changes in the browser. And small advice here, consider to use child theme for modifications. In case if something goes wrong you’ll be able to restore everything as it was.
2. Just go to Revolution Slider tab from your dashboard and choose banner you want to modify. You can find some instructions about how to use the slider in our theme package. You can find them in folder called documentation.

I uploaded the demo data and there are over fifty files that failed to import from invalid product tags to an invalid post type for the contact form.
Also there seems to be no inherent access to the front end beyond customize and general settings, so I have no way to import the revolution slider or create a gallery. There are no templates that I can find within the theme for out of the box demo content to work with, and the inline menu option doesn’t work.
Is there a manual update to the theme, because nothing is working as it should.

first of all make sure you installed and activated all the required plugins. After that try to import demo data, in case if you get an error like some media was not imported, that seem that you already have them on the website, and you try to upload it again.
Regarding the Revolution Slider, all the galleries and sliders should be uploaded with revolution slider importer.
And last thing, sure we have theme documentation included with the theme, it can help you.

I hope this message finds you well. I’m having an issue where each product custom fields are duplicated. This issue isn’t happening when I revert back to the default theme.

I wanted to import the demo data, but i could not find the one-click import module, i could not find the button “Import Demo Data ” under “Appearance ”. How can I import the demo data ?

this button is disabled by default. You can enable it from Theme Options Page.
Or you can use default Wordpress Importer. You’ll get the same result.

This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions on your server. Try to upload the theme via FTP. It should solve the issue.
