The form used for posting is a Contact Form 7 form, so you can modify it in any way you like, including leaving only CV upload field.

Unfortunately, Avanatage does not offer such functionality and we are not aware of the plugin that provides it 
This certainly does not mean that it does not exist. Anyhow, the plugin like this would require really “shallow” integration with the theme – this means that if you find it, you should not expect any issues using it with Avantage.

Hi, this is not directly related to our theme, the file template.php is WordPress core file. Please try to update WordPress to the latest version, as well as the theme and all plugins. If the issue persists, you can try to deactivate plugins one by one to pinpoint the issue (in case the issue is related to some plugin).
Hello I purchased the advantage theme and would like to install the demo version of the strategy sub-theme. I went to tools then BT import to import the strategy xml file but the percentage remains at 0% and after verification only the home page was created.

You need to create the static page and place Masonry Post Grid onto this page.

Yes, you can leave it blank.
Or if you want to add the sidebar to the archive pages you can set it to to blank static page and add a sidebar to it using Global Overrides – it will be used for category / author archives.
From the menu you will link the page with the grid so the classic archive will not be accessible by default.

I really love all the graphic elements of this theme. However, I understand alot of this is the stock images on the sliders etc. Does this theme come with all the elements needed to swap out the stock images, while retaining all the geometric designs etc?

As you have noted the theme demo has stock images. They are not licensed for third party use, so you if you want to use them on your final site, you need to license them separately on Shutterstock. We can provide the link to the collection of images used on demo, so you can select those that you need.
To your point, if you wish to use your own images instead (and have the same geometric designs on them), we can provide layered psd of the home page which includes all geometric design elements.
You would need to edit your images in PhotoShop or some other tool and use the geometric layers from our psd file to achieve the same effects.

I was using avantage theme for one of my domains, it was active on it. Now I have Changed the Hosting of my current Domain and Re-installed everything from fresh. Now When I installed theme, It is not accepting my purchase code and I am not able to use the theme. What to do now?

The theme does not require activation in order to work properly.
You are most likely trying to use the theme purchase code with the Timeline or cost Calculator plugin which comes with the theme.
You should not activate the licenses of packaged plugins. The packaged plugin updates will come packaged with new releases of the theme you are using, Avantage and they do not require the license activation.

Hallo, unfortunately I had a major issue with the theme. Godaddy had to reset everything. Now I want to download the latest version of the theme – but when I click download there are no files in the (downloaded) folder. Can you please send me a link to the latest version.

Apart from image optimization, we recommend using a caching plugin of your choice, it will help you combine and minimize JavaScript and CSS, optionally implement deferred loading of static assets and implement the proper caching policies for these assets.
The only aspect which you can not approve easily is the CSS coverage and DOM size. The latter depends on the amount of content on your pages and its complexity.
