Theme ran for years, seems the author got what they wanted with in excess of 5k sales. Theme has now been pretty much abandoned and all of the help guidelines and ‘How to” video discussions on their own support website have been purged and no new requests for help will be accepted.

Slowly as WordPress updates roll on there will happen compatibility issues due to the theme no longer being updated. Scroll through these comments and you’ll see that reported already.

I’m being told I need to update my support subscription, but for what? A Theme that seems to now have been abandoned?

Hi, quick question before possibly buying, are you still supporting this as it has not be updated since 2024?

ubject: Compatibility issues with WordPress 6.9 and PHP 8.4

Hello, we are using the Kinetika theme on two active websites and encountered several issues after updating to WordPress 6.9 and PHP 8.4.

The theme itself still works, but the following features are currently not functioning: 1. Widgets cannot be loaded or edited (the widget panel stays empty or fails to load). 2. Fullscreen pages behave inconsistently in the WordPress admin area. 3. The theme seems to rely on functions that were deprecated or removed in recent WP/PHP versions.

Since the last update was released on 21 August 2024, we kindly ask if you could provide: • an updated compatibility patch for WP 6.9 and PHP 8.4, or • a short note whether such an update is planned.

We appreciate your work and would like to continue using Kinetika long-term. Thank you very much.

Hello I am trying to update the theme but the “iMaginem Widget Set r4” plugin will not activate no matter what I do. I have version 1.4. I have removed the theme all together. downloaded a fresh copy and reinstalled all plugins. yet I get “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.” every time i try to active this plugin. all other plugins activate successfully. I need this plugin to make any updates to my site so this is blocking me from being able to perform any updates on my site. Is anyone else having this issue?

Hi, I have to fix a site with an old version of the theme. I bought the latest version of the theme and replaced it. Everything seems ok, but I have two problems: 1) I don’t understand where to insert the new purchase code. 2) The Save all options button doesn’t work. The site is working with an obsolete version of PhP 7.4. Do you have any suggestions? I tried to register for your support but I don’t receive emails for creating a new user or forgot password.

I ran a Google PageSpeed test and discovered that your demo score is only 47% in Mobile and 81% in Desktop…out of 100.As this is crucial in Google search..

I understand that various factors such as servers and configurations can influence the score, I believe that the basics of the theme should be optimized to perform better.

Any tentative timeframe to improving the performance will help in the purchase.

Hi, It should be expected that the default output of WordPress will not give high scores.

The demo is a raw unaltered output from WordPress. That’s at the very base level. We are not altering anything.

If you need to improve the score then you can do so using plugins and server optimization for it.

Hello, I’ve been using the theme for years without any issue, it think it’s the best I’ve ever used and luckily I’m using it on my company website, but I’ve just noticed that when I try to add more socials in the widget the wheel keeps rotating without adding them. Happens with all socials I think but I need to add Instagram and Linkedin. Latest version for both Wordpress and Kinetica. Have you ever heard of similar issues? I’m using w3 total cache, could be related to code minify? Thanks again for the great theme.

Hi, W3 cache doesn’t minify in WordPress admin. I assume security settings in host is blocking the request. You can contact the host and ask them to save it and check if it is passing through. Admin saves such as those goes through an ajax request. Some hosts block these which works for general sites but not on WordPress.

Does the theme offer password protected portfolios for multiple clients where I can create a unique password for each client. Does this require a new page each time I do this etc? Secondly. When I use your demo for the password protected page Sucuri blocks me and I cant go back. Not as easy as 1234 lol I await your reply
