1/ We do not publish the product development roadmap in the about page or comment area.

2/ Currently, VidMov has 3 templates for profile (author) pages:

A/ Default author page in WordPress structure.

B/ Profile page is in channel feature ( There is an option to override the default author page )

C/ Profile page is in buddyPress.

Currently the demo version will still display those two profile pages side-by-side. And users still have priority to the profile page located in the channel.

Basically, there isn’t any difficulty in overriding buddyPress’s profile page to replace all of the current author page templates (#A & #B). But we haven’t added that option yet, it will come with other important buddyPress updates in the future ( Or simply a few lines of custom PHP code, because hooks are already there and are being used for the channel feature )

3/ Maybe you should wait for new updates before deciding ( When new features for BuddyPress are released ) – I cannot commit or make any promises here.

Thanks, one more question I have vidorev, on that theme you have the youzify members profile pages with additional tabs that show shortcodes to display all the users videos, channels etc… is this feature on vidmov? Just looking to find out if the users buddypress profile will show all their videos, OR if the themes channel pages can display the users buddypress avtivity! Just need one profile or chanel page on my site but needs to display all their content – videos and activity preferably. And links on both the users videos and BP activity to link to one profile or member page, not 2… 2 different links is confusing I find. Thanks

Unfortunately, VidMov doesn’t have that feature yet!

VidMov does not support Youzify but will directly support buddyPress from the core of the theme.

I recommend waiting for future updates before deciding.
