How should I configure Calculator Free Shipping Message and multiple currencies?
If I set the “Total Price Of Order To Offer Free Shipping” as 250, then it is 250 USD by default but if the buyer change the currency then it is 250 units of the changed currency, which of course is not equal to 250 USD.
For example if I change to Yen, then 250 Yen, which is equivalent to 1.8 USD qualify for free shipping, which is absurd and a bug through which anyone can get free shipping, simply by changing the currency before buying.
Could you please indicate how to configure these 2 settings to work correctly? Please come with an answer for this…
An answer and not a ”make s ticket” reply please. If we going to buy this theme for our store we want at least to have a well functioning one.

Are you mentioning about a theme issue which is happening on our theme demo now?
We have tested the free shipping threshold and when you change the currency before or after you add a product to cart, it still works well by converting to the correct currency. It would be great if you can address by images or videos if you see it is different. Thank you so much
No its not from a demo, its from a live webpage belonging to a friend of mine who is strugling to set her store up. I have seen the theme ”Ella” in action and thats were i saw the problem with the free shipping alowing anybody to change currency ti get a cheaper free shipping as 100 SEK is only 10 USD but the theme treats it as it was 100 usd and alows free shipping. Another thing i saw on her theme is that the ”multiple currency” was not working at all, only shopify currency was working. The Free Shipping is crucial though because that will make shopowner to lose money on that bug. I have bought 2 shopify themes last 6 months and they work flawless in tjia matter, what ecer currency you chose they will translate the right amount correctly. What is she supose to do to make that issue work as suposed??

Please understand that we are on a different time zone with you.
For the 2 issues you said on your friend’s website, we cannot determine it and tell you here. To check an issue, we must have the admin login access. Please tell your friend to create a ticket to verify the theme license and create a staff account.
An issue can come from many factors like custom code, wrong setup, conflict with apps… we cannot just give an answer here.
And for your decision to buy our theme or not, you can test the theme on our demo store.
Another way you can help your friend is tell her to download the newest theme source and check if there is any difference between her source and the original theme source. Thanks

When you install theme, it won’t include demo images/ banners like you see on our theme demo because Shopify doesn’t allow you to get data to show up when it is Section themes. Therefore, you need to start uploading and refer to our instructions in the User Guide to manage and set up.

Hello, thanks for the answer. I might not need help with the installation but i’m creating a demo store and I’d need sample products just to showcase a Shopify Addon. I’d like to use your theme to speed up the store config, but I’d still need sample products or at least the images that you use. Can you still help with that?
By the way, I am starting a new Shopify subscription so I guess I’d be eligible for the installation service anyway

How to disable quick view on products.

Hi, I have a pre-purchase question: Shopify is limited to 100 Product Variante for each single product. Does this Theme support more variants? I am working on a a photo gallery and the variant range is really wide. Any suggestions if not?

Thank you so much for your attention to our theme. Shopify limits 100 variants per product, this is their default so we cannot support you to have more than 100 variants for each product. However, we have 2 solutions in this case:
1/ Use variant separation method. This is a way we often use to customize for our customers.

I love the theme, and really want to use and support. But since we have a few custom coding, everytime you release a small update it’s a massive work to upgrade. Really something that’s killing us. What about releasing a changelog per file so we can eventually manually upgrade by file and not having to replace ALL the files an RE apply the custom coding everytime?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer guidance for updates that have taken us months to complete, such as Ella 6.5.3, which required 2 months to update every section of Ella, involving changes to the code. Attempting incorrectly can lead to conflicts and bugs, which we do not recommend. To save you time, especially if you’ve customized our theme, we suggest maintaining a document where you record your code changes. This way, you can easily copy and paste them into the new theme source when updating to a new version.
Thanks! Jumping from minor version with a changelog per file could help massively. For example from 6.5.2 to 6.5.3 knowing which files have been modified with a Diff could be amazing!
im loooking at this pre sale, does this support the option to display variable products as single items in the collection. For inventory we dont want to clone items just to do this so this would be highly needed

Sorry, another question, if I develop the store in my Shopify Partner account and then transfer the store to my client will the licence transfer over.
Noting, that once I transfer the store to my client the store will no longer be on my Partner Account, I will simply be a contributor to their store, so there will NOT be a second store, only the original store.

For the app Shopaw => We are not sure if this app and ella theme works seamlessly because we have not tested this app with our theme.
There are many apps and we cannot test all. However, if this app works well with Dawn theme, it can work well with ella too.
For the license, yes it works with single lincense. You don’t need to pay for the second license
