how can i create the shop page, only shop data(picture) was import

If you wish that all shop data from the demo gets imported you need to install WooCommerce plugin prior to demo import procedure.

If your WooCoomerce is installed and activated, the import will import all shop demo data and set the proper pages for Shop, Shopping Cart, Account etc…

You can not exclude the category, but you can select all categories you want to be displayed – which almost comes to the same thing unless you have some specific requirement :)

I just finished my website and after a couple of days it went down and this is the error i’m getting: [10-May-2024 22:22:43 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 262144 bytes) in /home1/yourdig2/public_html…. I increased the memory but nothing is helping. Do you have an idea of what causing this?

Please edit your home page.

It probably has (at the bottom of edit page form) in settings section the override which looks like this:

Show Content Below Menu > checked

Please remove it and save the page it should do the trick.

I have been trying to add a primary menu, but with no luck.

I tried to play around with menu options under the appearance section and still had no luck. Then I tried to set the menu per page, but I’m still failing.

There are two settings which can influence the menu on our themes:

1. Make sure that your menu on Appearance > Menus is set as primary menu – this menu will be used on all site pages by default

2. You can override the menu on per page / post basis by choosing another menu in the setting meta box

If you have done both things and the menu is still not displayed, than something else is preventing the menu from being displayed.

Have you tried activating the WP’s default theme and see if the issue persists in that case… If it does then something else is preventing the menus from being displayed.

I have tried the first 2 and still have nothing. Going to default WP for a live, I feel it will cause some issues with the clients and stakeholders.

I want to retain only Looking for (Search box) and Recent posts and remove the right side panel displaying Archieves, Categories and Tags. Also the Author name in the bottom of every blog article.

If you go to Appearance > Widgets panel in your wp-admin console, you will notice a “Sidebar” widget area which holds all your right hand side widgets on pages where this widget area is enabled.

Here you can add and remove widgets from this widget area as per your requirements.

Instead of using default users like (www-data or some other), can you please suggest how to configure avantage business theme such that it will be configured under a particular user (like webmaster@domain.com) to send mails and save data in folders.

We faced problem when we gave write permission to www-data to a particular folder, then hackers plant trojans that spread to the entire website.

We think that it is very important to have a facility that can make authenticated password protected user to send mail and write files apart from Apache user.

This can make your themes more rugged and safe as well.

Please guide and help.

This does not seem to be the issue on the side of the theme.

Avantage does not require any non-standard server users with write permissions in order to function properly.

If you wish to save user files in folders on server using some third party plugin or some other method, we strongly suggest that you consult with the hosting company or the author of that specific plugin in relation to technical requirements and security related settings.

The way you should set up your server depends on your use case, the method of file upload, file upload location, user profile to upload the file etc… This really is not part of theme functionality or features.

I bought Avantage consulting theme and updating it regularly. All were ok but recently, I found the WordPress site hacked.

There were folders created by name CCX and kjagffassay in every directory and sub-directory

Also, there was .htaccess file got created with content

My unix user www-data has write permission only in the particular subdir

is there any security hold in bold themes that need to be urgently addressed..? Kindly advise .

Good morning, I would like to use hamburger menu (using widgets) is there a method to use it? (I hid the horizontal desktop menu because the customer wants hamburger menu)

Hi,

You can set the resolution on which the mobile, hamburger menu will appear using JavaScript.

Add to Appearance > Customize > General Settings, Custom JS field:

window.responsiveResolution = 10000;

This will set the breakpoint for responsive, hamburger menu to 10000px and effectively always activate it.

You claim that you provide rtl support but you do not! I have to write my own rtl style to align with rtl-style. Actually, you only support basic rtl, not in detail of all elements, even basic elements.

Here is how it works.

If you create pages from scratch, and you have set RTL based language in your WordPress settings, everything should work put of the box.

We assume that you have imported one of our LTR demos and you are trying to start from them.

In that case, if you set RTL based language in your WordPress settings menus, widgets, body text alignment and other default template / post elements will change automatically.

On the other hand, static page elements (Bold Page Builder elements) will not if they do not have the alignments set to inherited

You will have to change the alignment of the page elements and page layouts manually by rearranging page elements using drag and drop.

It seems that one of your post has been assigned, as featured image, currently non existing media library item.

Perhaps you have deleted it in the meantime.

Anyhow, please review your posts and check if all their featured images exist and are properly assigned.

My client had a problem with the site/theme not auto-updating and it broke, so I tried to add the purchase code but it won’t accept it. I think it’s too old (from 2019) but should still be valid as I DID purchase this theme. I can’t submit a ticket because support expired. What do I do?

Thank you, but I was referring to registering the license directly in the theme (Bold Timeline > Product License > “In order to receive all benefits, you need to activate your copy of the plugin. By activating license you will unlock premium options – direct plugin updates and assistance of our support team.”) as that was not taking the code.

You should not activate the licenses of packaged plugins (Plugins which come with the theme). Activation is relevant only when these plugins of ours are purchased separately, when they do not come with the theme.

The packaged plugin updates will come packaged with new releases of the theme you are using, Avantage and they do not require the license activation.

I read that images must be licensed in shutterstock. How many images are used in the consultancy variant? If I choose to use another images, there’s any tool provided to apply gradients so can match the theme overlays?

Yes, if you are going to use images from our demo on your production site you need to license them separately on the Shutterstock.

Business consultancy has approx. 30 images in total which require a separate licensing.

Hallo, unfortunately I can’t edit any pages anymore. Bold Builder is not working – it’s not showing anything. My IT guy said it might be a problem with the new WP version. Can you please tell me how to fix it? I really need to edit some pages. Thank you!

Hallo, my it specialist updated the theme and plugins as per the suggestions but the problem still exists. Quote: “When I am in the wp-admin area and let’s say on a page or widgets and try to click on any place it’s not possible. Similar like you try to click on Bold builder on admin of any page and then nothing happens When opening the checks and console and trying to click i see the errors from the screenshot attached, They are related to jQuery of the WP version as well as to the JQuery/JS files of Bold Builder. So everything now is the latest version.” ...

“i am still thinking that the downgrade to the old version of WP could fix the issue. The current WP version is 6.3. You can downgrade it to 6.2 as an example and see of the issue will be fixed, If not the for sure you must contact theme dev support and they should help why the issue exists. It does not seem is incomtability as everything now is the latest versions- WP, theme, and plugins.”
