I was getting tis message when entering my wordpress dashboard after updating and setting up subscriptions with WooCommerce. Your theme (DateBook) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Suggestions to fix this:
Update your theme to the latest version. If no update is available contact your theme author asking about compatibility with the current WooCommerce version. If you copied over a template file to change something, then you will need to copy the new version of the template and apply your changes again.
Just ignore that message. WooCommerce always display that message if finds some change in its templates. This is normal. The DateBook theme has WooCommerce templates in its folder.

The verification emails are not being sent to the new members. What can I do to ensure the verification emails are sent?
Install the WP Mail SMTP plugin. It helps to send emails. Nowadays, hosting servers do not allow to send email on simple way. Only SMTP connection is allowed.
I purchased datebook theme but I am getting an issue when importing demo-1. Could you please suggest me how I import demo-2? I am getting option to only import demo 1 but not for demo 2. Please do the needful.
You can import/install sample Brizy pages like our demo 2. Do the following:
- Install the Brizy page builder plugin. But do not activate it yet.
- Find the folder “Demo content” in the archive file you downloaded on ThemeForest. Unpack it on your desktop. There must be 2 files “datebook-brizy-pages” and “datebook-brizy-templates.xml”.
- Go here: WordPress -> Tools -> Import -> WordPress Importer -> select 2 files to import from the folder “Demo content”.
- Go here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Pages tab -> select all imported pages in all fields.
- Select this option: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Page Builder tab -> Profile page builder -> select “Third party Page Builder”.
- Select the home page created with Brizy here: WordPress -> Settings -> Reading.
- Activate the Brizy page builder plugin.

Hi. Do you mean images of people? Those images people are used on our demo sites for demonstration only. But you can download them on free sources like Freepik. Regarding the screenshot. I did not understand what you mean.
Hi Pagick, ignore the message images as that is not important. However what we are missing from demo 2 install is the advanced search, that doesn’t open a window as demo 1 which was the screen shot given. We want the advanced search to be like Demo 2
Hi Freja74. You should enable this option in the search form: WordPress -> DateBook -> Forms -> open “Search form on Search page” for editing -> click on the range button to open up the settings -> enable the “Display advanced fields”.

Sincerely not happy after buying this theme. The datebook plugin keeps causing a lot of problem and uses up the VPS CPU at 100%. I have switched to 3 different hosting companies and upgraded to the highest VPS plan yet no solution. My current plan should be able to serve with 6gb of ram. Sometimes the site is not loading and keeps timing out. Can you please help us fix this problem

I looked into your server configuration. But I have knowledge enough for VPS server. I also asked our system administrator but he is busy. Sorry. You have to find some specialist.
I restarted the server and the site is working again but still very very slow. Sometimes takes over 20 seconds to load a page. When we was using the old version of the theme everything was working smoothly until your subsequent upgrades. Please look into the plugin that seems to be the one causing all the issues. The hosting company has optimized the server several times. when you disable the plugin the site loads in 1-3 seconds.
I have never enjoyed this theme ever since I bought it. Have had so much issues moved from one hosting company to another for more than 3 times thinking that was the issue including vultr cloud services yet none solved the plugin issues. Please if its not possible to use the theme on our site then I would wish to request for a refund. Thanks

Yes, an hour ago I checked your website again. I deactivated the theme and plugin. Your website became a little faster. But not as fast as expected. WordPress administration area is still slow. You think, it seems to you that website is fast. But this is not.
Your server, especially MySQL database require optimized configuration. Number of simultaneous connections seems too few.
Your database is overloaded.
We use simple shared hosting server for 1 dollar per month. Very low resources. The theme works fast. Because administrator optimized absolutely everything.
You use powerful VPS server. But the theme and even WordPress work slower. Because something is not optimized.
Here in comments, you can find other users who had VPS servers. They encountered the same issues like you. But after checking their servers I found out that RAM, number of connections and other options were too low.
They even could not upload the theme in WordPress. Connection was broken and some errors occurred.
If you do not mind, I would like to recommend you to start with simple shared hosting server. Not for 1 dollar, but for 3 or 5 dollars per month. They are maximally optimized and ready for production.
I was on shared hosting before the same issues. I have moved to 3 different hosting so far and the same issue. I think the problem is from the plugin. please can you check back on the site? it is not working right now. looked like you forgot to activate the theme back after checking.

The problem was in the cron tasks that the theme must run periodically. You have many thousands of profiles and posts. The cron tasks must check and update each of them on schedule.
But it looks like cron is not working on your site.
That’s why every time you opened any page, it took a long time.
I have disabled the cron in the theme temporarily until I find better solution. I apologize for this inconvenience. Thank you for your patience.
Thanks for your reply but that was not the problem. I hired and paid a developer to fix and optimize the site. Just just finished optimizing the Database to get the site working again. Please take a look on the subscription and matching. The matching percentage is returning an error on the users profile and also the subscription plans is not selecting. Please help us fix that thanks.

Ys, you can update the theme. It is ok. The theme is compatible with latest WooCommerce 8+.
Friend request feature is not working properly. When user1 sends a friend request to user2, user2 receives a notification. However, when user2 clicks on user1’s profile from the notifications, user2 doesn’t see any option to accept the friend request.
On the other hand, when user1 opens user2’s profile, user1 can still see an option to send a friend request to the same user, even though that user has not responded to the previous friend request yet.

On “forgot password” page, when we write our email and click on “Submit” button, a notification appears with a text “Link for password reset has been emailed to you. Check your email.” in a light blue color box. We want to change this text to “Password reset link sent to your email. Please check your ‘All Emails’ folder.” because sometimes emails go to spam folders. How to change this text in theme?

1) Go here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard
2) Click on the “Restore Defaults” button, at the bottom of the page.
3) Click the Save button.

Please, do not edit the DateBook pages. They are specific, have their own functions, and do not have the content.
If you want to use a page builder and create your own layout of pages (your own design and style), then you should do the following:
- create new pages
- insert our shortcodes into your pages from here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Shortcodes
- select your pages here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Pages
Your site looks like the installation was not completed. You can use Theme Installer. It will do all job, the installation. Fo here and follow all three steps: WordPress -> DateBook -> Theme Installer.

When I try to upload the template xml through the importer, I get an error stating I can’t upload it

On my website, I cannot get the search function to work, and I cannot get it to load on my homepage. Also, we cannot get one of the XML documents to load.

This option “Profile page builder” is selected correctly.
Unselect this option “Profile page created with Page Builder”. This option must be selected only if you created a special page for Single Profile page.
Demo2, the ‘Our members’ section. I have downloaded 30 free pictures to fill in the head spots, but how do i create members so they appear in this section? I looked at the users/add new, but there was no place to upload a photo so i assume that is not how it’s done.
Also, same question for the featured profiles section.

You can create profiles in 2 places:
1) here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Theme Installer -> Third step -> click on “3. Import”. 30 profiles will be created.
2) you can create more customized profiles, here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Demo content.
You can upload to each profiles only on profile pages. After you create profiles, then you should go to those profiles -> then go to “My photos” page -> upload images.

Hi. Frontend – means Home page, Profile page, Search page. In short, all pages that are visible to public.
Even those pages when users are logged in. For example, even these pages are Frontend: Upload image page, Subscription page, Profile edit page, Chat page.
Backend is only your admin area. All pages in administration area are not visible to public.
