Thank you for your prompt response and attention to our inquiry. I have a question about the book link placed under the download button, for example www.example.com/book1. The customer downloads the book by clicking on the button, and now they receive the book named book1. Isn’t it possible that the website’s content is at risk since if someone else or someone guessing another book’s name could potentially download it from the site without purchasing?
For instance, if there is another book named book2, it would be easy to write the link and download the book from outside the site.
Is this possible? And how can I prevent this from happening?

You;re correct. Providing direct link is not safe and anyone with the link can have access to the files. However, WooCommerce is providing 2 secure methods for downloading digital files using PHP and sing NGNIX/Apache that you can make use of it. Additionally, as a paid option you can go for Amazon S3 file storage where you can store your digital books in the S3 buckets and serve the downloads using protected URL which will be dynamic each time a user downloads. You can integrate Amazon s3 on your website using a free plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/amazon-s3-and-cloudfront/

Ensure that you’ve updated both the BookChoix theme and core plugin to the latest version. It seems that you’re using an outdated version of the BookChoix theme.
Then login to WordPress admin and go to Appearance -> BookChoix options and just click “Save changes”.

There are fields in the BookChoix theme options -> Shop settings -> Single product page to enter your custom titles for the tabs where you can change it your local language.

We have updated the Slider revolution file on our server. To update to the latest version, deactivate and delete current installation (note: deleting won’t affect the current sliders). Then install the plugin as a new installation from our server by navigating to Appearance -> Install plugins -> you will see notification to install Slider revolution.

Dear acmee design, I am aware that my support is expired, but my question may be useful for everyone:
I figured out that the uploaded images of the products are multiplied by 16x ( and I understand that this would be neccessary for optimizing reasons) but this is causing issues on the server (could it be the source of the error503?), I’ve overused the inodes in my hosting plan because of the multiplied files.
Is it possible to turn off this function shomehow? (and with this, to delete the other 15 versions of the same image with smaller resolutions?)

Hi,
The BookChoix theme uses only 6 image variations, ensuring the use of appropriately sized images across multiple pages. This is normally followed by theme authors to offer faster page load speed. If you have 16+ variable sizes means, it is created from default WordPress media function and other plugins that you’ve to find out.
To prevent multiple copies created by WordPress, follow the below article https://www.greengeeks.com/tutorials/how-to-prevent-multiple-image-size-copies-in-wordpress/
And then deactivate the plugins which is not recommended by the theme and try upload an image and check which plugins are creating extra image copies.

Our plugin update server is down due to an issue. Because of that, the update notifier functionality within the core plugin may not receive a response, causing a slowdown in the WordPress admin interface only. Rest assured, we have addressed the server issue, and the problem has been successfully resolved.
PS: We will add an option for users to disable/enable that feature in the next update.

It is a known bug in WooCommerce which is still not corrected by the plugin developers as mentioned here
I’m not sure why WooCommerce contributors did not fixed it yet.

You can turn off the download option under Wonderpdf settings to prevent downloads. To protect a PDF from copying or from taking screenshots you need to integrate a DRM method which is a dificult to integrate in a theme at a lowest price. You can find some 3rd party PDF encryption services like https://www.locklizard.com/pdf-encryption/ to secure the PDF files.

Sir i got the issue After disabling the BookChix Core pluging from c-panel/root everything worked well and my website became more faster than usual and all the errors disappeared completely but when i tried to enable it once again, the problems returned and i could not even login through wp-admin till i went back to cpanel and renamed it/disbled it that’s when the website started working again even better and faster
