FYI your support videos are absolutely worthless since they are 3 years old and nothing is laid out the same in 2.0. Documentation also leaves a LOT to be desired. My thought is that E-composer is recommended to make things easier, but then you are charged down the road for items you created that should have been easily made with the base theme. Waste of $98 (with fees and tax).

Before that, I would like to know: 1. every time when I customize the theme, will the DOM size become bigger? If I customize header and footer separately, the DOM size will be better than I customize and save them in 1 time?

Hi there, Customizations through options within the theme will not affect the DOM. However, if you make extensive customizations using HTML, CSS, or JavaScript, it is inevitable that it will impact the DOM. Best regards
