iPhone Issue: I recently built my new website using the Bigbang Responsive WordPress Theme but unfortunately, the iPhone version of the site is not working correctly. I had a developer work on the site so I don’t have the answer. But i think that was the height we got from the sample images from the theme.

Thank you. Now another question. I’ve set up a number of pages, portfolio items and portfolio categories. I’ve tried to be careful with definition of parent pages and slugs. However, the portfolio item links don’t always take me to where they should. Any idea how I can fix this? Best wishes.

In reply to my own comment about the videos on posts not working, I figured out that it doesn’t like the shortcode version that Youtube provides under it’s Share options. I had to entered its FULL, unabbreviated URL, for the video to work. So this code works http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99HJ9HrDFcI instead of the shortcode URL Youtube provides: http://youtu.be/99HJ9HrDFcI

I’m having the same issue as another commenter. The YouTube video Brankic custom field isn’t working. I entered the full URL of the video, but nothing shows up. I replaced the custom.js file as you instructed that other person, but it’s still not working. I’m using the latest version of Wordpress (not sure if that makes a difference). Thanks for any help!

I updated to Wordpress 3.5 and now seem to be having an issue with the Brankic Shortcodes icon in the page editor panel.
It does not appear right next to the icon like it used to. I am also only able to use a few of the codes, most of them do nothing when clicked.
I only have three plugins installed – Contact Form 7, Really Simple CAPTCHA and Ultimate TinyMCE (which I updated as well, after I found the panel to not be functioning properly.).
Do you know of any related issues to this and Wordpress 3.5? Any thoughts / feedback would be appreciated.

I’ve added the following shortcode via brankic shortcode option:

however having no joy seeing the fileter option, indeed, I’m not even seeing the ALL option.

Hello – purchased the theme and am looking forward to customizing for our needs. Question – Your demo site home page uses the slider / featured images function and I’m trying to replicate this with my own images. However, when uploading my own photos, the size changes to the native size of my photo. Can I control this somewhere so that the slider uses all of the same size, regardless of the shape / size of the photo? Thank you very much for your help!

Is there some shortcode to control the size of these images that I can use on a non-Portfolio type of page? The best practice is to have all slider images with same sizes (or proportions).
You can’t control image size, unless you crop it on your computer before uploading (which is the best practice)
Is there any way to change the size and shape of the contact form send button? I would like to use the large rectangle version to match the rest of the theme.

The theme isn’t working for me.
Fresh install of WordPress 3.5 and installed this theme but the Extra Image boxes are not showing up on New Page and they are not in the Screen Options either… What is going on? Already reinstalled everything and this made no difference.
“Extra Image 1” shows up on posts, but no other extra images…
“Extra Image 1” and “Extra Image 3” (3 is the max I have set) show up in New Portfolio. But no “Extra Image 2”.
Let me know how this can be fixed please.

Hi, How can I change the order of my portfolio items? I’ve changed the publish date to get the items in the order I want, but when you go into a portfolio item, the next and previous buttons go to the items in the order I originally saved them rather than the order I have changed the publish dates to sort them. I can’t seem to see any way of changing this.

That’s not logical. It should follow the date order. Maybe there is some cacheing issue, so try to refresh the pages or clear the cache…
Is there shortcode which will crop all of the images in the Recent Work section to be the same size? (For example at the bottom of the Homepage)

Great theme, very nicely designed. I have a few basic questions:
1) I have tried many times to upload my own favicon and it hasn’t been accepted. I have used .ico 16×16 and larger, all formatted correctly through websites which have converted a small image from jpeg>ico. Any advice?
2) I have made my background black by uploading and tiling a black image http://jmo-mi.com/ . Is there any extra css I could use instead for a smoother load?
3) How do I use my own fonts in portfolio items and blog posts (and date titles)? My custom font works on all pages but these two. I am using http://www.google.com/webfonts/specimen/Fredoka+One
4) Some of my pages have an awkward load with fonts compared to other pages. eg. http://jmo-mi.com/contact/ – where the font jumps to another font mid-load. Any way around this?

1. We’re using .ico file too. You can see it in source http://demo.brankic.net/bigbangwp .
If it’s not working for you, try to add it directly to header.php (basic HTML knowledge is a must).
ps: I can see there is no http:// before path to .ico. Add it and it should work…
2. 100kb is too much for that kind of image. GIF shouldn’t be bigger than 1kb. It can be done with Extra CSS too.

4. I think there is no solution. It takes time to load whole page (map) and font is loaded after that. I don’t see any loading issues (it loads smoothly for me)
Hi Brankic, Thanks for the response. with 3) I have edited header.php as you suggested, but now my menu and footer fonts are changing between the desired font Fredoka and a plain font depending on which page I am on. Notice how menu and footer font is plain at http://jmo-mi.com/ but Fredoka font on http://jmo-mi.com/blog/portfolio/the-zlmd-shakespeare-company/

You can replace one of the icons you don’t use with new one (just don’t rename it). Icons are in images/socialize-icons or in plugins folder if you’re using widget.

How can I change “portfolio” in the URL? I don’t want the URL’s to say portfolio because it’s not a portfolio on my website.

Hi I am using the full-width-contact page but on a mobile (iphone4) it shows the form overlapping and a complete mess. Also you cant click the contact button to show the contact form? Any ideas how to correct this problem?
