Is it Magento compatible? Can I integrate into Magento?

Hi there,

It is not compatible with Magento, this is only a WordPress theme.

About to purchase this theme… quick question though: Should I install Buddypress before or after uploading the theme?

Thanks!

Cortney

Hi there,

It doesn’t really matter, but it would probably be easier if you install BuddyPress afterwards.

Thanks for your previous reply, do you have any screenshot of the users dashboard when they are creating a post? Is this integrated into the theme or does it direct them to the wordpress admin?

Thanks

The user dashboard is the same dashboard that comes with any WordPress theme. Screenshots are provided of the interface on the item page (click the Screenshots button).

Hi, I had a wordpress website , I want to integrate your product , Can it support through easy method?

Hi there,

I’m not sure what you mean? It sounds like you’re not that familiar with WordPress and WordPress themes, is this correct?

Buddy is a WordPress that can simply be uploaded to an existing WordPress installation just like any other WordPress theme.

When the layout is left and right sidebar the main activity comes first in a small screen

when there is only a right sidebar the main activity comes first in a small screen

but when there is only a left sidebar the left sidebar content comes first in a small screen

is there anyway to fix this?

Hi, really like the look of your theme. I have a quick question I was hoping you could help me with… I want to have a community aspect, so buddypress is great, however can buddypress users upload photos or have a gallery?

Hi there,

This would need to done by using a BuddyPress plugin, I believe I few offer what you’re looking for such as http://buddydev.com/plugins/bp-gallery/

Love the theme, however, how may I make my page display less than five posts? Right now I’m using the posts short code in a static page. The Reading settings wouldn’t help me either. I’d like it to display three so that the page fits together a little better. See my site at NimbleDigital.com if you’d like for what I’m talking about. Thanks! (:

Hi there, is it possible to for users to frontend posts without creating posts in the admin? Does this also allow geolocation and custom fields?

Hi there,

This is not possible with the theme, you will need to use a third party plugin such as Gravity Forms.

Hi, seems home page widget is not coming in updated version.

Hi, I’m looking at purchasing this theme but have a few questions.

- Can the theme colours be changed (can’t find any examples of sites that have used this template) - Can you have separate sections, i.e Members, and monthly paying Premium Members?

Thanks in advance! Elliott

Thanks for the quick response. Can s2Member be applied to any of your themes, not just buddypress themes? Do you have any examples of this theme with different styling options applied? Thanks

Yes s2Member can be applied to any theme of my themes, BuddyPress is not required.

I do not have any examples of the theme with different styling options applied. The styling options only allow you to change the colour of all the theme elements e.g. links, background, navigation etc. I will be adding a screenshot of these styling options later today.

Ok, that’s brilliant! Thanks.

I am looking for something like your Buddy template for a group of artists, but I would like people to be able to load images in the forum discussions. I didn’t see anything in your faqs about that. Is there a plug-in that can be used to make the forum discussions more dynamic? Capable of loading images, videos, etc.?

Hi there,

The theme uses the bbPress plugin for the forum, this is not something I created it. bbPress allows you to add images and video in forum posts.

Ah… thank you! I looked for info on that and couldn’t find any and am still learning about BuddyPress’s capabilities.

Wonderful theme. I purchased a grand total of 4 premium themes, prior to finding this. None of them were perfect.

This is exactly what I wanted. A professional, responsive BuddyPress theme, it’s superb.

Thanks tehkseven. :)

Awesome theme!! Am going to purchase very soon

QUESTION Is there a login/register form? there seems to be only short codes for login and register forms separately

SUGGESTION would Love a pricetable shortcode

BUG the comments box on blog posts name and email writing section is not responsive so on my smartphone the input space drags off to the side~ making horizontal moving possible

Hi there,

The theme comes with it’s own login page template, in addition to the login/register shortcodes. The theme does not come with a registration page template as the BuddyPress plugin has it’s own registration page.

Request noted, if it becomes highly requested I will consider it.

I cannot replicate this issue, the name and email input fields are responsive and fit within the viewport on my mobile device. What mobile are you using?

My smartphone is a Nexus 7, the screen is a bit small the name/email also popout when I zoom in alot with Firefox Browser

I’m guessing the popping out problem is only something that occurs with phones with small screens then

The Nexus 7 screen is larger than my iPhone 3G and 5 and this issue does not occur on them, so it may be specific to the Android OS.

I do not have an Android device to test this on, if you email me via my contact form at http://themeforest.net/user/GhostPool#from I can work on a fix with you.

When you say, zooming in on FireFox, are you literally zooming in enlarging the text etc.? If so, this is likely to happen and not a theme issue.

in a demo you have mentioned some shortcodes like tabs, various buttons etc.for example if i open an account as a user and i wanna create new forum topic or to update a existing forum or group.in such situation does these shortcodes available to me?

I see what you mean. No shortcodes that come with the theme will not work in forums/groups etc. They can only be used in the backend posts and pages.

i have one more ques.can i change the colors of the theme with the changes of options in theme or by changing code in the theme?

The theme comes with settings to change the theme colours.

does all the shortcodes available to the user such as buttons, tab, adding youtube, vimeo, self videos creating links while they use forum or group or creating blog?

I’m not sure what you mean by your question?

can i use loginradius or oneall social connect plugins to allow the users to login to the site instead of default login option?i used these plugins with other buddypress themes its working perfectly.can i use this with this theme?

Hi there,

These plugins have not been tested with the theme, but if they are designed to work with BuddyPress I don’t see any reason why they would not work.

theme demo is not working properly on 1024_768 screen.when i use this theme demo with that resolution theme shows only 2 rows but when i zoom out the page in browser than it is showing 3 rows .what is the probm?

Hi there,

On smaller resolution the sidebars drop from two to one – this is part of the theme being responsive. Three columns on a 1024×768 screen can get a bit cramped.

i saw some other buddypress themes which provides fb and twitter login options.please add facebook and twitter connect options to make the users to log in to the site?can i expect this in the next update?its very important please add this

Hi there,

These themes are likely using plugins that offer this functionality, it does not come with the themes itself. There are plenty of plugins that you can use to work with Buddy.
