There is no way they understand this matter! I will explain again: 1) A Business (Listing) has 2 states: Status 1: business open now. State 2: business closed. There are no more states!
For example, if Cridio has a “day off”, no one is interested in that, we are only interested as customers in what date and time it is open to send a ticket, is that understood? Therefore, the “day off” status should be eliminated, it generates confusion, erroneous data and results when applying the filter and no one is interested in traveling to a business that has a “day off” because that means it will be closed!
The other thing, when applying the “open now” filter:
1) If there are no open businesses, then it should not return any data, but here the system returns data and at the end of the page a message appears that says “no results”, that is totally incorrect! If there is no data according to the condition, then the result is zero, because the web user, and anyone else, will assume and make decisions based on the data that the system is returning, is that understood? They are not complex. => x = a, a = 0, print (a) = guess the result!!! IT’S ZERO!! ZERO DATA!
Here the technical support has shown me what happens when applying the filter and has seen what he said, but it stays there, technical support does not care about solving the underlying problem, it is of no use to send me a video showing the problem: “hey ohh yes this is happening, I sent a video etc etc” ok and the solution? you are seeing the problem! What comes next is to solve it! I’ve been lost for more than 3 days with this so you can understand it!

Now, addressing the “open now” filter issue, I want to clarify how the system currently operates. When there are no open businesses while filtering for “open now,” the system displays featured listings running with Ad campaigns on the archive page, ignoring the filter. I understand this may not align with your expectations, and I apologize for any inconvenience.
To resolve this matter, you have the option to delete the Ad campaigns for the top of the search. By doing so, the system will not prioritize ads over the filter results, ensuring a more accurate representation of open businesses. As top of the search Ad type have to work with this way. But in your requirement you can delete the top of search Ads.

If you need to find a Restaurant (Listing) you are interested first if it is Open, Obviously!
But when applying the OPEN NOW filter, it results in Listing Day Off and Open Now, here first of all there is a problem with the data that the filter returns, it cannot give results for 2 conditions if it is applying “Open Now”.
The 2nd. There are no days off (day off) as defined by LPro, a free day for a business is because the business is closed, on vacation, etc., therefore no one is interested in searching for a Listing in a free state if it is closed, is that understood?
Therefore, strictly speaking, there is 1 state that is defined as Open Now, the “Closed” state is the inverse of Open, therefore logically it is not even necessary to specify it, you deduce it.
In this way, I hope to have some real help now to close this topic. I have already reported that the LP Finder when applying the filter continues to show days closed and days off. Thank you.

Could someone please reply to Ticket #281130? The problem I’m having is that I added subcategories from the dashboard, but they aren’t showing up in the dropdown menu on the homepage.
Unfortunately, the response I got was that everything is ordered alphabetically! Yes, I completely understand that the dropdown appears in alphabetical order. But that’s not what I was asking for. I don’t mind if they’re arranged alphabetically as long as they’re listed. What I was asking is: Why almost all newly added categories are missing on the dropdown? The weird thing is, sometimes if you refresh the browser 5-7x, some of them (maybe 1 or 2 subcategories) will show up (max of 9 items will show on the dropdown), not all of them. But then if you come back & reopen the website again in different browser, those subcategories are missing again. Looks like there’s a bug because occasionally it shows up, but 95% of the time it’s not showing up. Thanks.

Problem: I made subcategories, but they do not appear on the dropdown menu.
That’s all! This is the problem I’ve been reporting since last week. But your technical support John, seem having hard time to understand the problem and thus, kept giving unrelated random reasons.
He initially attributed the issue to the dropdown being ordered alphabetically, but later he said it’s due to parent/child theme compatibility, then plugin issues, and yesterday he said it was banner style issues. And finally, he just sent me a screenshot indicating that everything worked fine! Basically, the screenshot he shared STILL shows that all subcategories are still missing from the dropdown! but he stated, “It all worked fine for me.”
This is truly getting to my nerves! Because 13 days after I first reported this issue, we’re back at square one because he still didn’t know what I was reporting and didn’t have a clue either what he was trying to resolve! This is not a rocket science issue, but why John seems making it so complicated. It’s no surprise that we kept going in circles and you kept offering me random ridiculous reasons. I have a tight deadline sir and this bug on the script really delaying my progress to get going.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could assign the ticket to someone who is a true tech support rather than someone who simply makes guesses while investigating stuff he doesn’t understand. If still can’t figure it out, rather than wasting more time, just reinstall it using the BUGS free script. Thank you!
Can you send a link to current UPDATED documentation? All the youtube videos are outdated and for an older version. Want to know how to work certain areas such as Food menus , how to add coupons to a listing etc. I should not need to open tickets, where is actual current documentation please to understand the theme and functions.
