You need to insert custom CSS in the CSS field in theme options.

You can use this, 84px is default so I changed it to 60. But simply drop it lower if you want less space.

I know the thread you are speaking of and the CSS given worked on our end.

But I see that it did not work for you and you posted that back in the thread. Please give him time to check it again. its just a simple CSS fix for the border and not really a big deal, but it will be fixed, no worries. Please be patient.

Hmmmm … Have you entered or changed any of the CSS for the theme besides the CSS MHaris gave you in the forum? If so then that could be the cause. You could replace the all.css file with the one you get from the download to see if it resets it.

If you did not make any changes, then please check back in the forum thread for when the solution is posted for your particular site.

Oh, and you can insert the below CSS in the CSS field, this will allow the right border to show.

You have to click the little drop down arrow to open it up and insert the custom link.

Those are just our custom styles that we made, you can also make your own, we simply copied one of the default files and changed out the font-family.

That should be able to be done without issue, but we have never tried or had a request to do so.

You can insert widgets in any sidebar or footer area. So yes you can do that to any of the pages.

Our shortcodes can also be used on any page.

I think you have compatibility mode on in IE, that will cause issues with all websites. Turn that off in the settings. In our new v2.0.5 we disable that setting for users who have it turned on so it does not cause issue.

If you still have issues with it when its turned off, then please visit our support forum. We are now trying to move all support to the forum, its much easier for everyone to get help in one spot and be able to reply to anything and search for answers that have been brought up multiple times.

Redownload it from themeforest on your downloads tab. It will be the new version which is v2.0.5

Then, please read the READ ME FIRST file that comes with the download of the update, specifically #5 about integrated plugins

When updating, it’s best to do it via FTP: Go to “wp-content > themes” and backup your “Avada” theme folder by saving it to your computer.

Replace the current “Avada” theme folder in your “wp-content > themes” folder with the new version you get from the download.

Also, all plugins are new and are now fully integrated into the theme. Do not attempt to activate or use the old ones, you should remove them via FTP if you can. The new ones will be auto installed when you update

Another quick question – does the navigation do anything different when that space is increased? Would the navigation drop down to sit on top of the slider or does it stay positioned at the top of the page? I was just thinking that if that white space increased, the navigation may get a bit lost if it doesn’t drop down to above the slider.

It wont do anything different, but with CSS we can place it where you like once you drop the menu down. So its whatever you want

At the moment we do not have instagram widget but we are adding it in our nexty big feature update, as well as the ability to easily add social icons in header. I cant say when Avada v3.0 will be done but it will be sometime, and all updates are free once you make the purchase.

Okay – I just wiped my WP files by uninstalling and I reinstalled everything. Your demo indicates that I should see a list of plugins which also need to be installed and which will pop up automatically for me to install. This does not happen. Please advise. Thank you.

No that is correct, that video was made when we had to install the plugins manually, in v2.0.5 the plugins are now integrated and no longer need to be installed manually so you are good to go.

If you installed v2.0.5 then you already have the plugins installed, you will see them in the sidebar (layer slider, Revolution Slider, Flex Slider). They are already there and can be used right away.

Sounds like you need to do a permalinks reset. Go to “settings > permalinks” and simply click “save changes” and that will reset the links and fix the issue.

We dont have a way to keep emails on file. It looks like the theme did not install properly. I recommend installing it again.

ok I just checked this out and you need to move framework folder from main theme to child theme folder, that will fix those errors.
