The key differences beside the style design are: BBOOTS is for Admins users who likes to have many info displayed at all time. For example their user profile information or board information, links, widgets etc etc.

FLATBOOTS is geared toward the “post content” rather than anything else that is usually just taking away from the main discussions, just like the user profile with tons of info etc.

Another thing to notice is that FLATBOOTS is a newer design and more p[popular therefore there has been a lot of premium work developed , like premium extension, tutorials, special layouts etc.

There are TONS of free addons available and also many Premium addons developed by me and for FREE. The premium paid addon are considered custom freelance work. These are NOT needed for the theme to work but they are an optional addition to enhance an Admin’s community.

So with that in mind let me know what you choose

Hi, some premium addons are free. Other premium addons are not. Having said this, there is a popular membership package new client take advantage of.

example in mobile, in BBOOTS style they are displayed normally, in the form of push buttons 1,2, etc., is it possible to do the same in FLATBOOTS?

They are two different themes so I’m not planning to merge differences to make them similar. Does not make any sense They target two different types of Admins and users out there.

Mobile is always going to be somewhat problematic. This is due to the very nature of forums. Just too much information, content and elements to deal with.

The best thing todo would be to remove things. But again Admins and users will not understand this move and they would think you are providing less of what their idea is… This will result in many unhappy people

I just have very large forums and topics, and I see a problem if a person on a mobile phone, in order to view a topic of 20 pages, has to enter numbers 20 times from the virtual keyboard on the screen, instead of just clicking on a number or next / previous page .. maybe there is a mod to fix this situation, I think from the point of view of the SEO, links to the next and previous pages of the topic are quite important

automatically, the topic is less convenient for large forums, because this way you can only show topics from one page, the second and further with such navigation will often simply be ignored, due to the inconvenience of navigating through them
