I’m encountering an issue with the product categories on the archive pages of my website.
It appears that the category description disappears when navigating between pages, even though the products are loaded with AJAX.

I’m getting a critical error when attempting to switch the theme to TwentyTwenty or any other option. Currently, I’m using the Basel theme.
Despite testing the functionality with the simple Basel theme (not the child theme), I’ve noticed that the category description disappears again.
Also, I’ve ensured that all my themes and plugins are updated to their latest versions.
Could you please advise me on any additional steps I could take?

After some more updates that i did, I was able to switch themes without getting any errors.
So, as i checked the category descriptio, it doesnt disappear on page change after the theme change.
Does this mean that it is a theme issue?

We don’t know exactly is it a theme issue or not since we didn’t have a chance to check it on your website.

First of all, you need to test how it works with the default theme on your website. If you get an error when switching between themes, send us this error so we can check. Also, keep all plugins temporarily turned off.
Hello, as i said above, after a few wordpress updates, I tried switching to twenty twenty theme and i didnt get any critical error.
So, after switching the theme successfully, i noticed that the category description doesnt disappear when i change the page throuth pagination (e.x. to page 2, 3 etc.).
Can u please tell me what does this mean and should i test next?

We can’t say exactly what caused it because it doesn’t seem to be a theme problem. Maybe something was changed in WordPress or WooCommerce.

Hi Team, while using Regular and Sale price for a particular product. Its only reflecting Sale price on product page, rather than showing Regular price (lined & grey color) and sale price next to it. Ok. I fixed it. The issue is that Woocommerce is not installed (I don’t need it). So would be great if you guys had an option settings to deactivate woocommerce when not needed.
Here is the fix:

Hi there, It is local, not online. It is fixed. You can reproduce the error in the admin theme settings: wp-admin/admin.php?page=xts_theme_settings&tab=general_parent_section. Install Query Manager plugin and will show a “ajax error” and then give a look at your php log file. I think this is the fix:

I have a site running using WoodMart with Woocommerce enabled. When I use the search function (Ajax Search) which is placed in the header of my site. In the backed, the header builder, the post_type is set to be Any (All Post types). When I search specific products in my shop which are currently out-of-stock, the products show up in the search results suggestion in the drop down area (since it’s Ajax search) despite having the setting WooCommerce -> Settings -> Products—> Inventory “Out of stock visibility” checked in.
This is really not we want on the site. Therefore, I did some digging in the source code of the theme and I saw the following in wp-content/themes/woodmart/inc/modules/search.php:513 where the query args are set to no include out-of-stock products only if the search is meant for post_type= product. We find this a bit strange because we want the search to be performed to include all possible post types but without showing the outof stock products. So on the same line in the previously mentioned file I removed “&& $post_type == ‘product’” and now the Ajax search suggestions DO NOT show out-of-stock products which is a desired behavior. However, when I click on “View all results” under the Ajax search suggestions, I’m redirected to https://MYSITE/?s=sci&post_type=any on this page, again it shows all out-of-stock products again!
Can you please make sure that the search takes into consideration the value of “Out of stock visibility” regardless of the post_type?

You can edit your products in WordPress dashboard -> Products.
There is no option to exclude, as soon as I save the product it will activate ALL variations.
I also activated this feature and saved 1 product. When I deactivate this feature, the single variations are still showing… Where can I delete these?
