Please note that you need to add them using the backend editor – hotspot placement is not supported in front end editor.

Every time Bold Builder is updated, the system crashes and this causes serious issues with my clients. I really like your theme and your overall approach, but there are significant problems on the Bold Builder side. I understand that starting something new requires courage. However, you also need to consider us theme users. When Bold Builder receives an update, we are happy to update to the latest version, but with every new release, the website’s design breaks. This issue needs an urgent solution. Please take care of this as soon as possible.
Could you please share any error logs you may have? We have not received similar reports from other users, nor have we experienced this issue on our own sites.

Hi! in the last updated of plugins (boldthemes and woocommerce) my wordpress resolve: “This theme failed to load properly and was paused within the admin backend.” and the bold builder seems to be crashed. In the recovery mode it works. Can i solve this problem? Thanks so much.

As a first step, update the Cliniq theme to the latest version – 1.1.1 (and Cliniq plugin as well) – https://documentation.bold-themes.com/changelog/cliniq-changelog.txt
Make sure to update the Cliniq theme and Cliniq plugin to versions 1.1.1 using one of the methods described here: https://boldthemes.ticksy.com/article/7123/ , update the Bold Page Builder plugin and clear your server cache if any.
If the issue persists, please take look at your php server error log. It should clearly indicate the exact cause of the issue.

In the meantime, you can do the same thing as previously – it probably got reverted back to the old version of code after you have updated the theme.

If you go to Appearance > Customize > Blog, at the bottom you will notice the property called Settings page – that is the static page which serves as the “template” for all single blog posts and its settings are reflected on all individual blog posts.
Edit that page and make sure to add at the bottom Override Global Setting called “Show Content Below Menu” and leave it unchecked. This will make this override affect all single blog posts by pushing the content down the page

Does this theme still have issues with wp updates? I want to know as i cant afford to have broken website when Wordpress updates itself.

I mean in the future. Wordpress updates often. If the theme disrupts when wordpress makes an update thats a problem. Could you answer this? Did you solved the issues for the future wordpress updates? I have many themes that dont have this issue once Wordpress updates.

Not every WP update will break your site or our theme. That is exception, not rule. And if happens, we react as fast as possible, this is top priority for us and usually does not take more than day or two. We suggest that you download the original theme files from ThemeForest and compare the content of the original functions.php and your current functions.php
It seems that your current functions.php has been changed, if not by you, than by malware.

This theme is beautifully designed and easy to use. However Google PageSpeed reports the CSS file is too large and blocking the first paint.

The theme CSS files can not be smaller as they need to cover all possible variations of design and functional elements.
What you can do is use Caching plugin of your choice to combine, minimize them and defer their loading if needed.

Hi, I have updated the theme, and the website now loads, although not all the styling has been maintained. I am using the child theme so as to prevent overrides, and any custom css has been place within appearance-customise-additional css

I think the styling that has been lost is related to elementor where not all font colour settings have been maintained within the pages.
Elementor is not supported, theme should be used with our own page builder (Bold Builder). It is used in all our demos.
How on earth do we customise the menus and header? The mobile header? This theme lacks quite a lot of functionality…

Bold Builder keeps crashing WordPress. I have tried to update the Bold Builder plugin and it gives me the white screen of death every single time. I have to then restore my entire site from a backup. This has happened 4 times now, I have updated all other plugins, waited for a few weeks to see if any conflicts have been resolved but it still happens. Please help.

After Auto-Update of WordPress, (what I remember, is a safet function of Wordpress) )I got a critical error and don’t have access to the WordPress panel, only FTP. This is a really bad sign for this company. The Logs and Updates of Wordpress are communicated in advance, and you have not updated the Theme! Really Poor service!!!
even Fixing manually all update and paying 100 dolalr to the host to restore extra backup of the site, the Bold Builder is buggy and not working with the last version of Wordpress!! . We have to put the site under maintenance mode.
For sure I will change my theme.

2. Regardless, the update 1.0.9 has been released, you can find it your download section of ThemeForest account and you have certainly received an email related to the release from Envato / ThemeForest.
So, the issue will be resolved once you install the theme update
Make sure to update the Cliniq plugin and Bold builder plugin as well once you update the theme.
