I’ve updated to WP 3.5 and updated the lib folder from the updated theme but the images for the home page slider, teaser boxes and portfolio section have all disappeared.
When I try to update the images on the portfolio I get an error. Can you tell me how to fix this please?

Yes I downloaded the latest files yesterday and it made no difference! It looks like I cannot add media to any page, post, portfolio etc while this theme is active. It works fine when I use the Twenty Eleven theme.
Is there something else I can try?

I’m using the “blog page” template and I’ve selected a sidebar as well. What else do I need to do?
It seems you are creating the post are missing some end tag elements. Hide all post and try with fresh then you will come to know the issue.
I did import older blog posts. There’s no way to fix without creating new blog posts for this theme?

In that case you can use accordian shortcode.
For toggle also works, but need to make small changes in the custom.js
We do not want to use accordion because when user prints screen information does not appear. We want to use toggle and have one open by default.

2 Questions about Front Page Teaser Box Images:
1. I need to link the teaser image to a specific page on the site, but I do not see a url box to add that. Is there a way to add a link to the Teaser Box Image?
2. I would like to make the text underneath the heading of each of the teaser boxes to expand with your short code [accordions] but it looks terrible incorporated into the teaser boxes. Can you recommend how I could get the information to expand underneath each Teaser Box heading?

Hello Kayapati, Please I need your help with the following questions: 1) Can the facebook and any other social media open on a different page? Right know MY only working icon “FACEBOOK” opens up on the same page loosing the main website page (FM Real Estate Group). 2) The site doesn’t look RIGHT on IE version 8, is there an unresolved issue? 3) Portfolio (3 columns): The size and color of the font doesn’t follow the settings of the rest of the page. When I changed it on each portfolio page, the layout of the portfolio got messed up.

I didn’t say the style is missing. I said “the text’s style inside portfolio doesn’t follow the general text settings (?!) Same thing happened on your portfolio template.
The style for Title is different and the style for links and different, we designed like this.

It looks like everything is working okay again, I’ll let you know if I see anything 
Almost everything is working okay. Unfortunately all the extra translations I did in the files that are in the lib folder are gone. Could you please update the files so that all the sentences are stored in the *.po file? Examples are; the read more button on blogs, contact information widget, quick contact widget, contact page and the next and previous text on the portfolio.
Update: I found an article that suggested using the “Use Google Libraries” plugin. This solved the widget dragging problem. So I wonder if it is a jquery version compatibility issue?
I still can’t get widgets to work though. I drug a text widget into the sidebar and added text successfully, but the site won’t display it. Still shows the default message. Any ideas about this?
Now theme support 3.5, and the widget issue fixed.
I am unable to drag widgets to the sidebar. I can in all of my other themes, just not in Globex. I researched online and a common solution is to disable all plugins. I tried that. Same thing – problem only with this theme.
I guess it must be some compatibility thing, but I haven’t found it yet. Have you heard of this problem before?

What is the best way to add photo captions to images inserted into a post or page? I would like to list names of people pictured in the photos.
should I create my own system in custom CSS?
I was curious if there was a way to do it within the theme. When I enter a caption using the media tool…. the post adopts the caption as the first words on a blog list. I don’t want that.

None of our pages or posts are allowing us to use the HTML tab. When creating a new post or page, the HTML tab now says “text”, and it doesn’t open a different view of any kind.
Additionally, we are unable to add media as well. This is a recent issue
Is the theme compatible with the latest WP update?

I have a few questions, I am having a hard time figuring out how to make my text on the slider different colors as displayed in the demo.
I am also unsure why I can’t get subtext to show up. It only shows the title then ”......” under the title.
Lastly I cant figure out how to create a gallery?
or is there a way to install all of the demo content on to my website so I can just adjust the content?

1, Go to theme Options > custom colors where you can find the option to change the slider text colors.
2, Create a page “Gallery” and select the Page template “Gallery Landscape” and attach images to the page and click publish button/
3. Demo XML file link is provided in the item description page, you can download it and use.
I have located the Demo XML file however, I am unclear on how to use it? where do I upload this file or import this into the theme?
Also I cant get the theme to show the second line of text on each slider, no matter where I put text in the allotted areas in the Kayapati slider it will now show up, all i get is a few period symbols “(....)”
Is there some way for me to get all of the code used in your demo about page? I would like to recreate that page as well as the home page.

I have solved my issue with the slider but I haven’t figured out how to use the Demo XML.
However, now the Kaya Generator will not work at all. doesnt matter which page I use the that button will not come up? What can I do to remedy this issue?
Is there a way to make the teaser images larger on the home page? No matter what size is uploaded it seems tim thumb sizes them to one size.
Right now its cropping the bigger images, do you need re-size the icon size, then open kaya_teaser_boxes.php its in “lib/functions/shortcodes” and re-size the width and height as per your needs.
If I wanted to adjust and not use the php that resizes so I can eliminate the cropping issue which php file should I adjust. I would like to just manually create the content in the teser boxes.
My main objective is to make larger icon images accept we are using pictures. I tried to adjust the image width height on the kaya_teaser_boxes.php and nothing changes. I adjusted the the values on line 17. If you look at my page on davidcowart.com/targetpain you will see that one of the images is cropped.

Go to “Appearance > Theme Options > Frontpage Settings” where you can find teaserbox tab, cilck the tab and follow the instructions.

There is no issue with the theme, may be the server and .htcc file issue.
how I can change the color of the text in the slider?
from “theme Options > Custom Colors” where you can find the “Slider Title Color Settings” section, here you need to add your own color.
