how disable croping image. i set 0 for width and heigt in settings / media and i regenerate all Thumbnails
we have several settings for the modules in the Elementor, below are the settings
depends on the modification that you need on the modules, you may need to use additional CSS
for the custom module, unfortunately we didn’t have option to create a custom module at this point

Hello! I have a problem, which has to do with importing posts from the old site to a new (test) one. On the old site the posts are displayed correctly but when importing on the test site the thumbnail of the posts are not displayed. I have tried different variants to import the post thumbnail but without success.
The theme does not display the post thumbnail, but the Featured Image option for my posts is not empty.
The Featured Image option is not empty and the theme doesn’t display the thumbnail, I can give you access to the backend of my site so you can check the cause of this issue on my test site.

you can check the mixed content error from the browser console, first access your website, and then on the browser right-click and then, click on the console tab, to check if there are any errors like the example below
if there’s no mixed content error on your website but the problem still persists

Thanks for reaching us, sorry unfortunately we didn’t have features to generate app from our theme at this point
All these updates worry me, and instead of constantly adding new things, why not make the theme more user-friendly and simpler. For example, the TAB widget never worked, and all the blocks that are nearly the same could have been halved by making the changes in one block rather than being able to select four nearly the same. I’ve been involved for a few years, but the theme is becoming almost useless. Often things go wrong.

I was probably a bit negative in my comment and found a simpler use of the theme by using your latest posts instead of a static page, and by using the Index Template where you customize style in the control panel. I often find Bakery and Elementor problematic, but now I don’t need them. There I miss a proper drag and drop option and where you can change size and position with a click of the mouse.
I like the theme, but as I said. JNews – Tab Post Widget does not work and never has. Can’t change the color in the header and comments are never displayed. You should test it and see if there is anything wrong there. I like to have a tab widget on top of the widgets page. Looks good!
we checked the JNews Tab Post widget in our side and it still working, below is the demo of JNews Tab Post widget working on our side.
if it not working on your side, please make sure the JNews View Counter plugin is activated, you can activated from Dashboard > JNews Dashboard > Install Plugin > search for view counter > install and activate the view counter plugin
please also try to disable plugins that not related to JNews for a while to see if there are any plugin conflict or not.

Thanks for reply. I’ll check it out. But there is one more thing I must say. I already have two JNews themes and could use at least three more. There should be a discount for existing customers, such as 50 percent, otherwise I have to wait until the next sale or Black Friday/Cybermonday;)

Hey – A Pre-sale Q: do u have the option to chosse functionality/styling for the paginations? Instead of infinite scroll can one choose classig pagination functionality instead? (lik “prev” and “next”). If so, is that available for all themes, like “Writy” for example?

thanks for reaching us, there are several reason that may cause this is use for example like server configuration, Wordpress configuration or plugin conflict, to troubleshoot this issue first please try to resave your permalink go to Dashboard > Settings > Permalink > save the permalinks you can resave the permalinks without changing anyting to make wordpress regenerate the htaccess.
Please also try to disable some plugins that not related to JNews for a while to see if there are any plugin conflict or not
if the problem still persist, please try to extend or renew your support license.

needs a wordpress 6.6 update, cant install plugins etc in 6.6. I reinstalled WP 6.5.5 and worked fine

I see, I currently have the theme on a local version and will then change the domain.
Is there a way that I can export the changes to the theme itself and then export them on the new installation? I haven’t found anything about this in the Theme Options or Customizer.

Hi team, We have created a subfolder in 1 website and installed WordPress separately. So for that we need another license? Because website is same, only folder is different. Also folder is part of that same website.

Thanks for using JNews, for 1 JNews license you can use it in multiple website as long as the sites have the same domain for example id.jnews.io, us.jnews.io, uk.jnews.io these sites has the same domain jnews.io, so if you have sites with different folder as long as it using the same domain it can use the same license, you can also use 1 license for Wordpress multisite
