Yes that is a client shortcode, its the 3rd icon from the right in the visual editor. See this screenshot. Just click the icon, then populate the shortcode with your logo URL’s and then wherever you want them to link. Just insert the link to the page you want, it can be any page, even a page within your site

thanks for the comments! Sometimes different hosts make it hard to import XML data. Check out our documentation on this, we have an XML section that explains how to import, then below that is a troubleshooting section of things that you can do to help it if you have troubles.

Take a look at that, it should help for sure. Then if you still have issues with it, post up on our forum and tell them you tried the troubleshooting details that our in our docs. Then they will ask you to fill out a form for your login details, you can go ahead and do that beforehand and put the entryID in your thread. That will save you some time

And another thing you could do is “uncheck” the download images and attachments”. That will allow you to easily import all the pages and data, it just wont include any of the images, but thats ok because users will be changing them out for their own anyway. Whenever there is an issue with importing XML, its due to the images and attachments, some hosting companies block that kind of thing.

Redownload it from themeforest on your downloads tab. It will be the new version

Then, please read the READ ME FIRST file that comes with the download of the update to see if any of the important items pertain to you, it depends on which version of Avada you are already on.

When updating, it’s best to do it via FTP: Go to “wp-content > themes” and backup your “Avada” theme folder by saving it to your computer.

Replace the current “Avada” theme folder in your “wp-content > themes” folder with the new version you get from the download.

Also, all plugins are new and are now fully integrated into the theme. since v2.0.5. Do not attempt to activate or use the old ones, you should remove them via FTP if you still have them installed. The new ones will be auto installed when you update

And be sure to check out our new documentation, it has been totally rewritten and now has more screenshots, details and videos. And sign up at our support forum for additional support. Read the FREE SUPPORT section of our documentation for info on creating your support account and using the forum.

Also, we implemented an auto updater through wordpress that is in theme options on the “upgrade” tab. But this will not be active until our next update is out, v2.0.7 so you cant use that feature yet until next time. But it will be easier for you next time.

This is a common error and not a theme error, its basically saying things did not upload properly.

Are you sure you are only uploading the “avada.zip” file via wordpress and not the “package.zip” file?

The Avada.zip file is the actual theme file and that is waht you should be uploading, its only like 6mb in size.

Actually, see the link below first and scroll down until you see the heading error of “Broken Themes …”.

Also, the file size limit error is due to your hosting company. Your host has limited upload file size limit. You can contact your host to make sure avada can be uploaded.

That error is due to old version of Wordpress, please update to the latest version which is WP 3.5.

In our new update, v2.0.6, we added a new theme option that allows you to easily select 1-4 columns for the footer.

So if you are not on v2.0.6, download and perform an update. Replace the Avada theme folder via FTP to update. Then go to the footer tab in theme options and select “2” columns for the footer. Then drag and drop your widgets into the footer columns in the “widgets” section of you admin.

What version of Avada and Rev Slider do you have? I assume that is the problem. If you are using WP 3.5, then you need to have the latest version of Avada which is 2.0.6, or at least v2.0.5.

Check that info then download the latest version from your downloads tab. Check out the READ ME FIRST file you get at root level for important update info.

The portfolio categories can only grab items that are on the active page. It can’t grab times from other pages. So lets say you have 4 images under category 1, but only 2 of those images are on the first page. When you click “category 1” it will only grab the two items on that page. This is just how wordpress works with filters like that.

The solution would be to allow all of your portfolio items to show on the first page. To do that, go to theme options and navigate to the portfolio tab, then insert -1 for “Portfolio Items Per Page”. That will allow all your items to show on the first page.

Hmmmm… I don’t understand the other issue, we would need to see this firsthand and get more details.

Nope sorry, you’re wrong

First off, we submitted the update 48 hours ago, it takes TF time to approve the update. And the fix you posted (if it was a fix) was not what was done to it and our update was already in the que when you posted that. When we submit an update, its not automatic, it takes a few days to get approved. That is the process here on Themeforest.

Secondly, The author of the slider fixes the plugin, not us. And they already new about this bug days ago and already were fixing it.

If you would of listened to my instruction and allowed us to help then you would not of had to look into it yourself. I’m not trying to be rude but you are not listening to us or allowing us to help. We handle all support like this on our forum so you need to post there, then wait for an answer. I mentioned to close your thread because I asked you to email us with your details so we could fix it for you. Your thread was not closed either by the way.

What do you mean by “two sites”

Do you mean two pages? If so, then all you need to do is go to the theme options, click on the “portfolio” tab, then set a higher number for “Poirtfolio Items Per Page”. Right now its set to 12.

If you set it to “-1” then it will always show all items on the first page.

I´m sry…. I´ve simply overseen. It works But by the way. Is there any Option, to show the magnifying glass on every item without the likt to another page?

This is possible, but right now you would need to remove it from the code.
