Hi, how to remove “LOGO” on the footer for writy demo ? There is no option to replace the logo in the footer, unlike the header. I can only find the header logo, but not footer logo in the dashboard.

The support system should be respond free for small queries like issues/errors encountered after the theme’s new updates out, for example I have version of 11.5.4 but when I update to 11.6.0, my published articles from different modules like 1 to 30, they were not showing latest articles first and older last, which was & is selected over the years on every module Sort by “Latest Post – Published Date” but not showing as selected in when we are in theme version 11.6.0, and it’s showing fine when reverted to theme to 11.5.4 without doing any other changes to pages. So I feel these kind of theme updates related issues should be raised irrespective of support is available or not, Again am saying that, the customer/user should have an option to raise or escalate issues of these kinds and not service from support team from major other issues.

Where is v11.5.4??? We want to back, because after latest update website is too slow. All server resources 50-70 percents. With 11.5.4 was 12 percents. How to downgrade to 11.5.4???

I noticed that with update 11.6.0. you changed interface of gutenberg and introduced new JNews Metabox.

Is there any way to change this thing back like it was before? Before it was really easy to use and everything was clear in the right sidebar/ under the main article where you could turn on/off feature that you wanted, and it was really logical and perfectly done without the need of extra clicking and searching for those options. (See the image in the link: https://i.ibb.co/FBQ4Gwy/Old-Jnews-Interface.jpg) Now with this JNews Metabox and new interface in order to find these options (I’m using post subtitle and primary category) we must do some extra 4-5 clicks and find those options in this Metabox. It’s really not a good workflow. (See the image in the link: https://i.ibb.co/gj5vxB4/new-ui-interface.jpg)

So now in order to put subtitle they have to click on Jnews icon -> Single post settings -> General settings -> Post subtitle. And when they do that they have to click back all the way back in order to change primary category. And they have to do this for every single new post/article…) I mean…c’mon

Why changing something that worked perfectly and make it more difficult and complex and not user friendly?

Please tell me that there is option to bring this old interface back, or at least tell me that in the next update there will be option to bring it back?

If not can you please give me the link for the last update where this Metabox was not introduced. I can’t find anywhere list of previous updates. I need 11.5.4 update, please.

The new JNews Metabox introduced in this update offers several advantages:

1. Search Functionality: With the new Metabox, you can easily search for the options you want to change. This can be particularly helpful if you need to modify multiple settings but don’t remember their exact location.

2. Improved Accessibility: The Metabox is positioned at the top right corner, making it more accessible. For long posts, this means you won’t have to scroll all the way to the bottom to reach the settings, thereby streamlining the editing process.

3. Cleaner Interface: By consolidating settings into the Metabox, the block editor looks cleaner and less cluttered, providing a more focused and efficient editing environment.

We understand that this may be a significant change from the previous version, but we believe these improvements will enhance your overall experience once you become accustomed to them.

Unfortunately, at this point, we do not have an option to revert to the old Metabox position at the bottom of the page. We always recommend using the latest version of JNews, as it includes new features and bug fixes that improve the theme’s functionality and security.

I know that you tried to make life easier and more organized with this new metabox, but unfortunately it’s totally opposite.

1. Search functionality:

It’s great that you introduced this but honestly most of us didn’t even need to use it because we could make our own custom gutenberg interface/experience and under preferences -> advanced we could turn off/on features that we want or don’t want to use. Now as I can see you removed all those features/meta fields under advanced tab, so now we are forced to use this new JNews metabox and search function.

2. Improved Accessibility:

As mentioned above in the Search functionality it totally opposite of improved accessibility. Before I could for example turn on “JNews Primary Category” and “JNews Single Post Setings” in preferences and put them in the right sidebar, right under the featured image/tags/authors ect.. so there’s no need for scrolling all the way down if the article is long.

It was really easy to access those features as they were always visible and logically placed and there was no need to search for them for every new article. How is that Improved Accessibility?

3. Cleaner Interface.

For sure it’s cleaner interface, but only because you removed everything from that interface and put it all under that new metabox…

It’s like saying we made your house look cleaner and with improved interface by removing couch, TV and table from your living room. So now it looks cleaner and improved because we moved all those things in your basement so if you want to use them you’ll have to go to the basement every time to get them.

What I wanted to say is it’s great that you are always improving your theme and adding new functionalities and all of that.

But please don’t fix something that is not broken. This was perfect the way it was, before this new JNews metabox feature.

I understand that this will now be new interface for Gutenberg, but at least can you give us the option to enable/disable features under preferences that we use often so that we don’t need to do extra 5 clicks every time we write new article?

And please can you give me the link to download 11.5.4 update as I can’t find it anywhere in your repository if there is any?

I would like to stay on that update as long as I can in hope that you will in the next updates give us the option of enabling those features I mentioned above so that we can again create our own custom gutenberg experience instead of this forced one.

I use the PlayIt theme for my website, there are two issues as belows for Version 11.6.1:

1. The Website Breadcrumb setting doesn’t work,but it works on version Version 11.5.4 2. Single Blog Post Template does not seem to be working properly (it’s slow), and when I edit a post and select ‘Override Default Template,’ it doesn’t seem to work either. But it is ok on version 11.5.4

Initial View Count must be a range “interval” of values not a fix number because this will make the visitors confused, the Initial View Count must be different from a post to another, I hope you will fix it in the future

I downlonaded the update yesterday and it totally crashed my site. It was using so many resources and I had to get WP engine to restore from a backup. It was so annoying and something I had to deal with all day.

The Latest update caused an Abnormal increase in server load and unusual SQL queries, site went down for 3 hours. Is the new update to improve or crack a website? Trying to add a post, but couldn’t update it.

Hello. The theme looks great. I’d like to use it. I wanted to find out if there is anyway to report on the ads I load in? I would like to use my own ads from customers but would like to be able to report on their performance. Could you provide some documentation or information on how that works?

if you are using google adsense you can check the report in google adsense dashboard, but unfortunately if you are using image ads at this point we don’t have feature for the report yet, we recommend to setup google analytics on your website and then you can give the traffic report of your website to your client

We’ve installed the theme and setup one of the demos. We’ve installed all plugins. When a post is created, the view count is always the same: 1.4K views. Is there a way to randomize this? Probably the same for the shares, thumbs up and down. Thanks.
