I have disabled all plugins and still get the issue. This has just happened recently and not sure what is the cause.
Just to add to this I have cleared my browser cache, tried on multiple browsers with the same connection issue to the db.

What is the alternative? Its slowing my site down due to the timeout issue.
What is also strange is under Theme setting: Auto-Location Detection Method
It has GPS selected and not Geo IP DB or IP API. So why is it flagging the issue with GEO IP DB if I am not using it. Is the API calling the DB either way.
In total it takes a listing 18 seconds to fully load the page due to the net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT from GEO IP, even though I have GPS selected.
Please investigate. I will email support as well.

Hi, I have purchased your theme and medical pro add on. Installed the theme with classic2 demo and installed and activate the medicalpro plugin. Is it possible to configure the home page to have a full-width map at the top of the page (under the header)?
If so, can you make it so when you search or filter from the home page, the map updates to show the listings related to the search and listings appear all right there on the home page (as in, it doesn’t take the user to a different search results page)?

Yes, there is a home page style with map which you can use to display listing marker on the top of page map.
But when you will make a search then system will take you to the search result page. If you need to display search results on home page then it will require customization

Buongiorno. Purtroppo questo tema ha molti bug che si manifestano soprattutto dopo gli aggiornamenti. Per esempio a me succede che quando c’è una nuova iscrizione la fattura da “pending”, cliccando sul tasto non cambia stato in “active”. Su alcune inserzioni la funzione appuntamenti no da orari liberi. Alcune attività quando cliccate dal menù listing consentono solo la modifica rapida ma se si clicca su essi viene mostrata una pagina bianca. Sarebbe un bel template ma da troppi problemi di configurazione … ci sto lavorando da mesi e ho già dovuto reinstallare tutto 2 volte. Non so più cosa fare

How big of a change will that be ? Can I get a quote on this ?
This is where the issues lies with customer support. I refuse to update the theme until you fix the issues people are reporting on the comments. Was the changes you made properly tested before distribution? Where is the support if the theme breaks things (that use to work) after updating? There are two levels of support that you need to cover. 1. Theme update support for broken code you have shared (free), and 2. individual support for custom changes (chargeable).
Envato’s support policy is out of date and isn’t setup correctly for customers. A broken plugin shouldn’t be chargeable under trading standards. You wouldn’t buy a song, or electronic service online to be told you have to pay to get it working fully. Why does this not apply for themes and plugins. Developers need to test their code and guarantee nothing will break if customers have the exact same setup, especially if its forced onto them that they cannot use anything else.
To those who have bought the theme. Be mindful of updating on a live site. Use a local/staging site first. That way you wont break customer experience when finding bugs, or broken features (that shouldn’t have been there in the first place when updates happen).
We need to have a backup solution as well i.e. revert back to older code to get things working again and it needs to be documented on solutions you recommend when updating your theme/plugins.

Hi, after the latest theme update Version: 2.9.4 “Claim” and “ADS” functions are not working properly anymore.
For claims, when I claim a business I am getting this error “Sorry! Your are not allowed to upload this type of file!” there is no file I am trying to upload so I don’t know what is the issue, I tried with multiple scenario’s and outcome is the same.
For the ADS, Ads campaigns are not showing if it is created by the users/clients but it shows if I create them as an Admin from the backend, which defeats the whole purpose of the website. I already have all the widgets in place because I can see the Ads if it is created by the admin, but not if it is created by the users.
Looking forward to see the ListingPro team fixing these issues, these are really important for people who is trying to build a directory/listing website business.
