By default, if you add more than 8 categories in the banner section, they will automatically display in a new line below. This way, all categories remain visible without affecting the layout’s width.

If you’re looking for a different display style, like a carousel, that would require customization.

if i use the restaurant layout, it will still do everything like a directory, like multi vendor with their own stores and maps near me and so on?

Yes, even if you use the restaurant layout in ListingPro, the core directory features will still function as expected.

This includes multi-vendor functionality, allowing each vendor to manage their own listings, as well as location-based features like “near me” searches, maps, and more.

The restaurant layout is simply a design variation tailored for food-related businesses, but all directory capabilities, including multi-vendor and map integrations, remain fully intact.

i see you have prebuilt demo addons if i wanted to use any one of those, will the restaurant listing menu work on any? is the restaurant menu a different install, or will it install automatic with any demo? from what i see i like this

1. To display the regions in a custom order rather than alphabetical order, this would require customization. By default, the system arranges locations alphabetically.

2. Regarding the parent-child relationship for regions and cities, the hierarchy is similar to how Google organizes locations.

Typically, you would select a region first and then the cities within that region would be displayed. To adjust how cities and regions are displayed in the search bar, sorting by city first instead of showing all regions and cities simultaneously would also require customization.

Just to add, on Firefox the ‘Crosshair’ icon auto disappears without even having the chance to click on it.

As I say it works without the GPS option as when you search it shows results based on your input. Just a shame the GPS option isn’t working as expected.

To add additional taxonomies and show them in the search sidebar filter on the archive page, you’ll need to create forms using CubeWP.

This will allow you to define new taxonomies and integrate them into your search and filter options.
