find some redirection plugin and define URLs need to be redirected to external URLs
thank you but when i add a redirection plug-in, it wont allow me to open link up in new widow(even when that plug-in’s option is selected). Something in the theme prevents that. Any ideas?

I’m sure I’ve asked this already and you’ve helped but I edited something and now the color of the theme has gone back to the standard ‘blue’ in global options. I had previously setup a custom color if you could help me set that up again please??

If you setup custom color, upload that css file back to server…
I can’t recall what I edited though. If I edit the ‘Blue’ css color file with the color code I want will that do the job?
If you choose blue color in Brankic panel, you have to edit css/colors/color-blue.css and upload it back to server…

2 questions I hope you can help with:
1. I have changed the .content-wrapper to have a background color in the Brankic panel which is all good but my portfolio which has the circle element applied to it now has a white frame around it? I have tried putting background colors on the portfolio grid, ul, li without luck. Please help.
2. For some reason when I choose an image for my portfolio page the preview of it (in the circle/square/hexagon) is distorted. Do I need to re-size every image according the preview or how should it be done?

you’ll have to edit bigbangwp/images/mask-circle.png and replace white border with color of content-wrapper.
Featured images should be squares, or landscape oriented.
Thanks for the quick reply. Regarding the feature image, I am already using landscape images but they are still distorting width ways. My client is a photographer so she is adamant they are perfect in preview and zoomed in. Is there another way?

Hi i have pretty much got the template looking how i want it to but have i’ll had a disaster! For some reason the homepage has changed and i cant get it looking like it did before i started editing it.
is it possible to get it looking like the template version again without having to start again?

First you must figure it out what happened. If I set for you home page and you lose it again – it’s not right.
Home page is just a normal page with slider, icon box shortcode and portfolio shortcode. This page must be set as Front page in Settings -> Reading…

I am having a major issue with my newly built website (BigBang WP Theme).
The site looks + works fine on my iPhone but in Firefox and Safari browsers via computer, the site is NOT displaying any of the images throughout the entire site and the Google font I am using (Oswald) is not appearing correctly either – it just appears as Arial or Helvetica.
The site was working fine this afternoon even and no one has worked on this site since. Here is my website: http://www.artmergelab.com

It looks like a conflict with one of your plugins. 1st suspect is Background slider plugin – try to disable it…

I was wondering if i could allow multiple images to be seen on detailed portfolio pages instad of sliding images for the purpose of allowing visitors to see all the extra images at once rather than sliding them individually or twin slides?

Ok, unfortunately when I delete the code, it disables all the images on detailed portfolio page, I can’t see any images and the facebook and twiter share buttons go up.

I thought I had cracked the portfolio but have encountered a problem! I created a category called Main and the created two sub-categories – Photos and Videos. I then added the portfolio items. There are individual items. For two of them I selected the category Photos and for one I selected the category Videos. When I view the page it has All, Videos and Photos as expected. If I select Photo just the two Photo portfolios appear (with their featured image as a thumbnail). I would have assumed then that when I click to display the gallery I have items in each – 2 photos and the video. In fact if I select All and click on any of the portfolios including the video – each has all 3 in the lightbox.
Obviously I was hoping that each portfolio would just display the respective type of media i.e. photos or video not both.
Can you advise me on what I’ve done wrong please?

You didn’t do anything wrong. This is how it’s designed. All items are shown in pop-up slider, and there is no easy way to change this.
How do I get a quote to just be in the center of the page in between normal paragraphs? No matter what I try I just see the text wrapping around the quote.
It’s because this is how we desinged this (it’s aligned left/right).
To disable our quoting style add this to Extra CSS in Brankic Panel

WordPress export doesn’t backup theme specific options (Brankic Panel). If you like to do it like ninja, you should backup whole database – Google about that…
I would like to put the slider above my home page (which is the main blog page / recent posts) and have it show 3-4 most recent blog posts. Any thoughts on how to do this?

Slider can be inserted only to pages/posts and it’s always on the top of the page (below the title)
To show recent blog posts, you can use portfolio shortcode or some plugin…

No plug in. Just add Extra images to post/page and you’ll ahve a slider on the top of the page (just below the title)
I’ve just installed the theme and everytime I activate it, it blows my website away – i.e; URL cannot be found. It also blows away my /wp-admin CMS area on my URL – can you advise on what might be doing this? I’ve got the ‘bigbangwp’ folder in my /www/wp/wp-content/themes. Are there any known bugs that do this?

It’s in the Brankic Panel -> Contact page.
Message is in page-contact-X.php. You’ll have to edit this file, or to use .po file in folder languages…

To the poster above: I had the exact same “problem” as you therealbiglou. In my case it was because I was using normal page-links instead of a “real menu” (I had to create a MainMenu in “Appearance -> Menus”)
Over to my question: I have a problem when a page first loads, wordpress’ default font will blink for a millisecond before the Google font loads. This happens in both safari, firefox and chrome (I know firefox loads fonts after the window.load event, but I didn’t think this was supposed to be a problem in other browsers), and for some reason it only affects the headers (eg. h2) in pages, not the rest of the site. Is this a known problem, or is it just me experiencing this?

thanks for the incredibly prompt response. You’re doing a superb job with customer service here, I tip my hat to you 
I’ll just see if I can somehow get the font to load first, or in a worst case scenario hide the text until the correct font is loaded. That may work, as it will just appear as if the site is taking a tad longer to load.

I’m having an issue with the background color in the header not showing up. I selected green from the brankic menu and the theme is completely up to date, yet there is no green on the current page’s menu item. Hover effects work and gray backgrounds appear, but no color.
Is there a setting to turn this on? That bit of color adds a whole lot to the overall page!
