I’m using the Nectar slider on my homepage. Is there any way to increase the button size for responsiveness? It’s set to jumbo right now. The button is way too small when resized on mobile devices. It looks good on desktops. Thank you!

1.Hidden row issue: Despite using the responsive options to hide a specific row on all devices, it’s still appearing on the page.
2. Excessive bottom padding: There’s a large white gap at the bottom of the page. It seems like the padding on hidden rows is still affecting the layout. I’ve tried adjusting the padding on the rows but it hasn’t solved the issue. Can anyone help me with this?”

WPBakery only allows you to hide columns depending on the viewport, not the parent rows. That means if you have padding set on the row, the space will still show on all viewports. If you need to hide a row instead of columns, you’ll need to add the class names onto the row as needed via the “Extra class name” field.

You can use Nectarblocks with Salient if you’d like; however, Nectarblocks also includes its own theme, which would be recommended to use instead.

It looks like there might be a rule missing, or something conflicting in the setup, but it’s hard to say exactly without seeing the backend closer. You can correct it in the meantime by adding the following snippet into the custom CSS box located in the Salient options panel > General Settings > CSS/Script related tab:

Hey, I think I’m seeing a bug with image elements in the visual composer. When you hover over an image, the edit buttons appear in the vertical center of the column, rather than being contained to the image, when you try to move your mouse down to the buttons, they disappear because you’ve moved off of the image. To reproduce the effect, add an image to a column, then add some other content to the column to increase it’s height. Then try hovering over the image in the visual composer and you’ll see the buttons in the wrong place. I’m guessing this is VC bug but thought I’d let you know.
The only workaround I’ve found is adding an inner row and making sure the image is the only thing in that row, so that the height of the image and the height of the row always match.
But hopefully this can be fixed in a future update.

Quick question for you, if you don’t mind.
In my Salient global functionality settings, Container Left/Right Padding is set to 90 and Max Website Container Width is set to 1425.
Is there a way to set these items individually on a certain page? Like if I want all pages to adhere to that global setting, except for one specific portfolio item (where I might want padding at 45 and max width to be 1700) ?

Hey mhstanton81, There isn’t a built-in option to define a different global max width (or other global theme settings) for specific pages. However, you can always override these settings using CSS if needed. If you’d like assistance with that modification, feel free to open a ticket on the support forum in regards.

I’m hoping to buy this theme but wanted to ask a question first. My client wants to show their products on the site but initially they don’t want the option to buy them. However they want to add the option to buy products at a later date. My question is: Can I design the site to feature their products as per your demo WooCommerce layouts but without the option to buy any products and then add the prices when my client wants to add the option to buy or will the products not be visible if no prices are added to them? I basically need the site to feature products but with no option to buy initially but then have the option to buy products at a later date. Is this achievable?

That’s occurring due to parent row using a clip path animation to achieve the rounded edges. Doing that will create a new stacking context, and the `position: fixed` on the hotspot modal will become relative to that row instead of the entire document. You would need to remove the clip path and instead achieve a rounded edge on the section with a border-radius CSS snippet.

Hey uniqodesignweb, the border radius would need to be applied via custom CSS in order to hit the direct layers needed and avoid the
overflow: hidden, which is normally used when rounding edges from the builder UI. A hidden overflow will cause the same stacking layer clip as the clip path method.

Great theme, have several licences
I have a page with tabs which worked perfectly well.
However, since I’ve added a custom form to the page, the initial tab doesn’t render on page load any more.
If you click another tab, and then back on the first tab it’s all there fine, but its blank until you do this.
I’ve tried removing elements individually, and it seems that the submit button on the form is the culprit – as soon as I remove it, normal functionality resumes.
There’s nothing special about the submit button, its a standard form control:
<input type=”submit” value=”Submit”>
I know this isn’t your remit for support because of the custom form, but was just wondering if you could even point me in the right direction of what to look for please?

Currently the archive/”category” area, for example archive/news archive has a header that is not defaulting to the site wide design, and rather is white causing issues.
Editor cannot be used on this page and no settings change the site header, only the page title header color.
Im seeking assistance for this as ive wasted hours troubleshooting. Would like a transparent header where my logo, and button for off canvas site are located on the post acrhive page.
Also should this page be unlisted for seo?
I also found another bug, the off canvas sub menu text size cannot be modified with the topegraphy settings, and i currently cannot seem to resize the off canvas sub menu text font size – how is this done?

We are experiencing a recurring issue with the Salient theme that is causing our server logs to be flooded with warnings. We would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.
Problem Description: For the past two months, we have been seeing the following PHP warning in our server logs every 5 minutes:
PHP Warning: Undefined variable $header_mobile_func in [...]/wp-content/themes/salient/includes/partials/footer/off-canvas-navigation.php on line 238
This constant logging is causing unnecessary server load and making it difficult to monitor other potential issues.
Key Points: 1. The error occurs in the Salient theme’s off-canvas-navigation.php file. 2. It specifically relates to an undefined variable $header_mobile_func. 3. The error is logged every 5 minutes, resulting in significant log file bloat.

in WooCommerce, I’m trying to batch import the product category header image with a CSV, but i can’t get it to import.
in the database the custom field is:
product_category_image
but it doesn’t seem to populate the field in my product categories. Is there a trick to it?

“product_category_image” is the correct key. I would double check that you’re adding them to the right taxonomy terms. Each category will be stored in the DB as “taxonomy_$t_id” where $t_id is the category id.

I suddenly have the header’s cart icon triggering the off-canvas menu that most of the times is not showing the “go to shop” and “cart” buttons. Is it a cache problem after the latest update or what? Can you spot anything by looking at the page?

1. You can enable the WPBakery AI functionality in the Salient options panel > General Settings > Functionality tab towards the bottom.
2. The WPBakery SEO functionality should be viable regardless of that option being enabled, unless you have it turned off in the WPBakery plugin settings.
