Hey, love the theme, I’m setting my site up now and in looks great, there’s only one thing – I’m, having difficulty changing the post background colour. Is there any way to change this?

Just got this error when trying to do anything in the backend: Fatal error:

I’m not very literate in code – any idea how to fix it?
Sounds like an odd issue, can you fill out a support request at http://www.meanthemes.com/support. It is probably a server issue as no one else has reported it.
Just so everyone knows, this issue was due to the way Total Cache controls the load of certain files, we’ve found a workaround and have released the workaround on the latest version of Moustachey – 1.2.9. You should find it in your WordPress > Updates within the next 24 hours or alternatively you can re-download from ThemeForest, please wait 48 hours for the review theme to approve though.
Is there an easy way to display the post author’s name on the home page and within individual posts?

Hi we’re considering adding Author support to Moustachey in a release later this month as we’ve implemented it on our latest blog theme: Lolly. Have a look at Lolly and let us know what you think
That looks great! In the meantime, are there any theme modifications I can make to add post author?
I love the theme, but we’re a site that uses 10+ authors so it’s important we have this feature.

– We haven’t tested any ad widgets but the theme is built to best practices so it shouldn’t be a problem if you add it to the sidebar widget area. Audio – yep… if you look at page 2… http://www.meanthemes.com/theme/moustachey/page/2/ you’ll see the audio player
Got one more question, does this theme come with seo capability such as tags? I see inside posts on demo it says you can use HTML codes but I don’t know HTML. Does it have an easy way of putting tags like just entering it without knowing HTML?
The theme doesn’t come with SEO keyword, descriptions etc. built in, but it is compatible with the wonderful and free plugins that are SEO Yoast and All in One SEO.
Just purchased thanks for plugin info. I do already have a problem with installing. I installed the zip file and it says The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

The file you’ve downloaded from ThemeForest isn’t just the theme, it’s the theme, documentation and licence. You need to extract/unzip the zip file first. In the extracted folder you’ll find a “Theme” folder, in there is the zip you need to upload.

Also when I click read more there is an orange footer there. not sure where the option is to change that colour
Im having a few issues with this them. Firstly, it wont change the colour of box … I set it to black and it remains grey.
Next for google fonts is there any way to specify the weight in the font family?
Finally is there a way to remove the top donate button. I dont need it.

Can you please need take a look at your CSS for the footer class “right” and how it is being applied to contact_us_email in footer.php.
Currently if the Contact Us email address is over 22 characters (2 more then your preview site) it will push the entire email address out of the alignment. I don’t understand why all of the footer items are using the CSS class “right”?

Hi guys, LOVE your theme 1 question so far…
I have the Archives page turned on and using the Archives page template. However it has a sidebar turned on. And the sidebar just displays the title Navigation and then a link to the Archives page, when I switch to full width I lose the Archive links. Is there a way to remove that basically empty Navigation Side bar, or better yet replace it with my own banner or something else?

Hi guys! I love the theme but a couple of things I just cannot seem to get:
-top menu COLOR? I don’t see an option to change just that color, the current selection changes the color for categories under the post. -The one thing that is driving me LOCO, if I set a category as a menu selection when clicked it shows ARCHIVE: “blah category” this is a no no. Where can I turn this off? AAAGGGGG lol -If I create a menu from a page that contain links, how can I make them look as if I made a post using the link feature? (love the way they look)

I purchased this theme yesterday and it really is one of my favourites. Great stuff and thanks for all the features.
Just one question. When i create a page within WP the page in this theme has a white background with a grey text. Can you tell me how i can have pages display the same coulor as the blog post page with a dark background and lighter text. I want the whole site to be the same and not change just because i have created a page.

Hi! Is it possible to have only the first post display as a full-length post and then the following ones as excerpts (on the homepage)? That would be great! Jeff
Hi there. If you set the full blog post option on Theme Options > general settings and then use read more tags for all the others that will work. Alternatively untick the same option and it will auto excerpt all posts apart from ones with read more in. Add read more to the very end of the first blog post.
