please make sure the post status with the culture category is published, you can check the status of the post by editing the post and finding the status at the right sidebar in the post editor

1) i have some questions about the paywall. is it possible to have just a free plan for users to be able to login in order to see all articles?

or is it possible to have a free plan for users to be able to see free articles and premium plan that users have to login to see premium articles? in this situation is there a way to set which post to consider as premium post?

2) about dark and light mode, is it possible to add on all themes or just those that appear to have in the demo area?

3) quest-post : is there a way for people to upload articles and just accept them in order to be visible? i am not talking about paying them.

This often occurs when someone is using a nulled version of the theme file, to troubleshoot this please follow the steps below

1. Reinstall the JNews theme by downloading the latest version from ThemeForest then install the zip file theme from Appreance > Themes

2. Reset your license by accessing the following URL.

please replace yourdomain with your actual domain

3. Reactivate your license. When trying to activate your license, remember to use the Envato account that you using to buy the JNews theme to allow you to access the activate license page. Because I like Jnews, I have bought 7 licenses so far, 3 are in active use.

But it cannot be that when an update of Jnews is installed, serious problems suddenly arise, and I cannot even report this in the forum “You cannot create new topics. It may because your support license is expire, or you haven’t bought this themes yet”. I have no problem renewing support if I need something that is not standard. But the software has to work!

What I am currently noticing:

Modules in the widgets no longer display options. The fix for “jQuery.Deferred exception: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘value’) TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘value’)” does not work either

Hi Team, 1. Paypay subscription demo is not working on the demo site, it always says “Sorry, it seems that there are no available payment methods for your state.” 2. I have tried to setup paypal sandbox to test subscription model but it never works. There is a lack of proper documentation/video to setup sandbox in paypal and use those credentials in jnews. 3. If we receive the payment offline, is there any way to mark the the subscription status of the user to “Subscribed” from here : Jnews Paywall > User Status 4. Currently post are restricted for all wordpress default user types except Admin. Can we allow bypass for other user types as well, like Contributor, Editor etc?

May I have another question. In the previous release it was mentioned that “Add paywall subscription status manual update option”. What does it mean actually? Even if I manually change the order status for PayPal subscription status to completed from woo commerce order page, user still doesn’t get subscription.

The manual update option for user subscription status is designed to provide site administrators with greater control over subscription management. Here’s how it works:

Automatic Updates: Typically, the subscription status of users is automatically updated by the payment gateway. The gateway sends a request to your site to update the subscription status once the payment is completed.

Manual Updates: The manual update option is available if the site administrator needs to:

Update the subscription status of a user before the payment gateway sends the status update request. This is useful if the administrator does not want to wait for the gateway to process and send the update.

Stop a subscription manually, for instance, if there’s a need to end a user’s subscription before the renewal due date due to specific circumstances.

Hi there. I am having issues editing with wpbakery or elementor. I get the error message about the “the_content”. Please help solve it as i got stuck.

FYI. I’m honest here…The error appears on my clients website (for website details i can dm without a problem and will explain), as the previous person with did work on has disappeared and now i have taken over to solve the issue.

1. In the documentation, I couldn’t find how to set the default Page Layout for pages. I can set it for an individual page, but I believe there’s a setting to apply it to all pages by default.

2. It looks like there’s a bug with the “Single Blog Post Layout” setting under the single post options. I can’t enable the two-sidebar layout from there. Even when I select it, the two sidebars don’t appear.

thanks for reaching out to us, sorry unfortunately at this point we don’t have the option to set a specific page layout globally, if you want to apply the existing layout to a new page we recommend duplicating the page or you can copy the layout from an existing page to another page from Elementor or WP Bakery.
