When will you give a discount for cyber sales?
Hi, unfortunately we currently could not make this round of Envato discounts but we eventually have one in the future, just can’t comment on the exact timeframe now.
Best Regards.
Hi, I am unable to edit the text in this section of the ‘About Us’ page as per the instructions. https://prnt.sc/VunDR9RaFY8I Could you please provide more details on how to remove this text? I am using v3.2 RC103. I would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks a lot!!
Hi, that may be created with a custom Banner or Slider Blocks module, please check that custom layout in Journal > Layouts > About Us…
You can edit any module directly from the layout via the Quick Edit button (pencil icon seen when hovering over the row). https://cln.sh/hw1wRtkt

another bug. When creating a file upload custom form element, In file catalog/view/theme/journal3/template/account/edit.twig around line 167: <input type=”hidden” name=”custom_field{% if not journal3_is_oc4 }[{{ custom_field.location }}]{ endif }[{{ custom_field.custom_field_id }}]” value=”{ if account_custom_field[custom_field.custom_field_id] }{{ account_custom_field[custom_field.custom_field_id] }} { endif %}” /> causes the following error: PHP Warning: Array to string conversion in /path/to/the/storage/cache/template/d4/d437e074fd0069fbfc24a5adf70010b4.php on line 680 when simply loading the page. The actual file in that error code changes, but has a similar format each time. It doesn’t seem to cause an actual problem, but I don’t like seeing errors in my logs for no reason. Again, my support has ended so I can’t submit this ticket…you should really change how that is setup.
Hi, we have investigated this and we will provide a fix for the warning in next update, thank you for pointing that out.
Best Regards.
was this actually fixed in the most recent updated?
Hi, this issue should have been fixed already.

I’m seeing a bug v3.2. When I create custom inputs for the accounts, applying it to specific customer groups has no effect. But when I go to default OC (v3), the specific group has effect. Basically, I want certain inputs to only be seen by members in the account view. I can’t submit a ticket my support has ended.
It only respects the setting on the account information page once logged in. But on the account registration page it still shows the custom inputs even if they are set to something other than default.
Hi, we’ll investigate this and provide a fix if needed in next updates. Can you tell us which Opencart version you are using?
Best Regards.
v3.0.3.9. I was able to make a mod to fix this for my needs by wrapping the custom inputs with {% if custom_field.location == ‘account’ %}. The problem is that’s not working for the mobile popup registration….it’s working for the desktop popup registration. So can you tell me which twig I have to edit for the popup mobile registration. I’ve been up and down the directories and can’t find it. I hope since this is a bug and you’re not getting to it with any time frame you’ll be able to give me this information so I can fix it now.
disregard my last post, had to delete the cache on the phone.
Hello
“error undefined” error.
“Buy now” or “Ask a question” icon was clicked on the homepage of the website. I get “error undefined” error in a popup window. What could be the solution to the problem?
I installed the latest version of Journal_Theme_.
Screenshot.
https://prnt.sc/7Lir4rFX2GngHello
I solved the problem as follows.
I opened the ”.htaccess” file. I did as follows
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\. RewriteRule ^(.)$ https://www.%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [R=301,L]
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off RewriteRule (.) https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [R=301,L]
Afterwards, I did the following.
public_html/config.php
I added //.www. to the beginning of all the web site addresses.
Do the same to the “config.php” file in the “admin” folder.
https://www.xxxxxx.comHi, yes, you need to setup a redirect to avoid this issue in Opencart.

Hello, why are things too complicated in the latest version 105, that is, H’s have been added that need to be corrected manually (or am I mistaken), respectively, in the skin section there is a choice of several variations. Can you give a 100% complete guide for the new version, because in those that have been uploaded personally I do not find an explanation of most of the new things! Thanks for your time.
Hi,
Journal 3.2 demos come with all the headers and modules bundled, this way you can mix and match.
We currently don’t have a guide to all the modules, but essentially you can determine the active header used from the skin in Journal > Skin > Header > Desktop Header > ... Here you can see the header module and can choose a different one.
Similarly, you can locate the active modules directly on the layouts, for example the home page would be in Journal > Layouts > Home… whatever modules are assigned in the builder there compose that demo’s home page.
If you need assistance in finding a particular feature or option please file a ticket on our support page and consult with our developers.
Best Regards.
Hello, I meant what and how are the H 1, 2, 3 styles used for? Are they just visual styles or do they also have a direct SEO meaning?
Styles in Journal are only visual as they represent CSS styling, they do not dictate the page structure or HTML elements, thy just style those elements.
Best Regards.
Thank you very much for the quick and accurate answer. Greetings

Hi. In which part of code happening sending of mail after success order? I use journal 3 checkout page.
Hi, mail is sent in catalog/controller/mail/order.php (default Opencart functionality).

I tried searching for hours and gave up, where can I adjust the layout of the single product’s buttons (Lisää ostoskoriin, compare, favourite on light green) when I select category and view the products? I need to change also the dark green color too under it but it doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the product grid. There is also the brand section added to it (in this case Made by Tanja). Please see screenshot: https://ibb.co/nwHjY8d
Found it, it was the product grid but I guess I needed to clear the cache to see effects.
Hi, the product listing uses the product grid style from Journal > Styles > Product Grid > [Your Active Style] > ...
The style is assigned globally in Journal > Skins > Edit > Product Listing > Product Grid Style…
You can also quick edit any style from the place where they are assigned via the Quick Edit (pencil button seen when hovering over the style).
Best Regards.
I can’t find moving text band in JT 2 like in the v.32 demo 7; “FREE shipping on orders over $200”. Is there something like this in JT2?
Hi, are you referring to Journal 3.2 Demo 2? That is the new Marquee module and indeed it’s only available in the new Journal 3.2 theme.
You’ll find it in Journal > Modules > Marquee.

I’m about to upgrade our Opencart shop from 3.0.3.8 to 3.0.4.0, so I’ve installed the 3.0.4.0 version parallel to my 3.0.3.8 version to be sure everything will work before I go sharp with the new version. For this purpose I’m about to install the Journal theme at the 3.0.4.0 version and configure it before I uninstall it from the 3.0.3.8 shop. I can see that my licens is just valid for one domain. Is there any way to run Journal theme parallel for a while till I’ve made all changes?
There is also a dedicated email address you can use for more detailed license questions: license@journal-theme.com

In Journal 3 blog posts, how can I change the link text from “Read More” to display the actual blog post title? Google Insights is flagging this as poor SEO, as links should include descriptive text.
I was just wondering why both my site with Journal 3 have such bad mobile performance. I dont have support anymore sorry
Hi,
It’s not possible to change the “Read more” button with the actual blog post name unfortunately but you can change it to something like “Continue reading” which is more in line with newer standards in Journal > Blog > Settings > Blog Language Fields > Read More Button…
Regarding performance, there are many local factors that may influence the score, however actual practical performance is not necessarily indicative of the score. With that said we can take a look at your setup and provide some guidance but please file a ticket on our support page with temporary access to your setup or send us a private message via the contact form on our profile page..
Best Regards.

Hi,
Journal 3.2 is available here https://v32.journal-theme.com/

Хочу купить ваш продукт, где можно найти программиста, кот.изменит и настроит?его под мой вкус
Hi, unfortunately we cannot assist with custom development and cannot recommend any expert developers.
However, Journal is made to be used by anyone through the multitude of options provided in our custom admin panel and if you have any theme-related questions you can file a ticket on our support page.
We just can’t provide customizations or other custom code modifications, just support on how to use the theme via the built-in admin optoions.

Hello
I am using “opencart 3.0.3.9” version. “journal 3.1.13” is the latest version. I downloaded the latest version from the link below and uploaded it to FTP. https://www.journal-theme.com/download/“Product offer will end” I change the background color under the countdown from the panel, but it does not change on the website. I cannot change the texts of Day – Hour – Minute – Second.
Screenshot.
https://prnt.sc/oGjm3Gw4IEXF https://prnt.sc/NMnBPnIc60x5I use cloudflare. But I removed cloudflare. I ran the website directly from the server. I still couldn’t assign a color to the bottom display.
I don’t get any error messages. But the action I took doesn’t show up on the website, such as changing the background color under the countdown.
Can anyone help me figure out where the problem is coming from?
Hi,
It depends what style you are editing in case there are multiple styles created. Perhaps there is a different Countdown style assigned to the product page as opposed to the product listing.
Also check in Journal > Styles > Product Page > [DEFAULT] > Product Details > Countdown…. there are overwritable options there too.
Best Regards.
Hello,
Screenshot
https://prnt.sc/O1sG0g0aoQJEIf the place you are talking about is the one above, I could not create the color under the countdown from there, I select a color, it does not work at all. On the website side, everything is the same, there is no color at the bottom.
cloudflare.com I stopped it, the website is currently working on the server. I still could not create a background color.
I do not have a support package either. I think a support unit is needed, this may be a problem that will occur for the journal in the future. Everything is fine, but the background color is not active.
Bu that’s not the place for the countdown, I pointed the product details > countdown sections https://cln.sh/sXRQ1DZF
In there, you have the option to assign a Countdown style and there is also the Container Styles tab for additional container options.
Best Regards.
Journal > Styles > Countdown > [DEFAULT] > General > Background >
From above. I change the countdown background color. But I can’t see it on the website.
I think this is the problem. I use cloudflare.com. Something there is preventing it from being reflected on my website. Can you show me what I need to adjust there with a screenshot. Which feature should I disable? I need to use cloudflare.com.
As seen in the screenshot below, I am applying a background, but it is not visible on the website.
Screenshot.
https://prnt.sc/oGjm3Gw4IEXF https://prnt.sc/NMnBPnIc60x5You keep showing the actual “style” of the Countdown, I keep saying you need to check the “place” where that “style” is being applied…
This is to ensure the style you are editing is actually assigned to that place (at the product page).
So just read my previous replies and go to Journal > Styles > Product Page > [DEFAULT] > Product Details > Countdown… you will find the style selector there and if a style is not assigned there you can assign one and then quick edit it from the pencil button.
Or this may just be a cache issue altogether. Nevertheless, we would need to take a look at you setup if you need further assistance with this so please file a ticket on our support page with temporary access to your store and consult with our developers.
Best Regards.
Hello
I can’t send a support message because I don’t have a support package. But I sent a private message. Could you please check your private message and review it?
Hi, we will get back to you but if the options aren’t changing it’s most likely a cache issue on your end as they work fine in our testing.
Best Regards.
Hello
On the “opencart” side, product price adjustments and texts are instantly visible on the website.
But when an action is taken on the joornal theme side, the action is not visible on the website. For example, I change the background color under the “offer will end” countdown, but it is not visible on the website.
But when I make a change to the products and texts on the opencart side, it is instantly visible. I still haven’t figured out where the problem originates from.
I’m experiencing slow loading times on my site running OpenCart 3 with the Journal 3 theme. The Largest Contentful Paint is 7.8 seconds, and the First Contentful Paint is 2.7 seconds, leading to a very low performance score on Google Insights. I noticed that your demo also shows a similar low performance score. I’ve simplified the landing page to the essentials, but the loading speed remains slow, which is affecting my site’s ranking. Without adding extra modules to boost site speed, what suggestions do you have for improving this?
Hi, there are a lot of factors that may affect performance, please file a ticket on our support page if you need technical assistance.
Best Regards.
Hi, I have a new client that I would like to recommend this theme to. They are also new to OpenCart (coming from WordPress). Which version would you recommend that I refer them to? Journal 3 or Journal 3.2. I know you have better insight based on the feedback you have got from users who use both
Hi,
We always recommend Journal 3.2 going forward, however in terms of Opencart version it depended on their needs, Opencart 3 seems to be more stable.
Best Regards.
Where can I change the normal and hover color of the tick box “I agree to privacy policy” -section i.e. newsletter box in the footer area?
Hi, all available styling options for the form elements are in the form style in Journal > Styles > Form > [Your Active Style] > ...
Best Regards.
