Hi, i buy your beautiful theme. Now i wanted to install the theme in my wordpress. i installed the theme and nothing works.
first time a error-message was displayed: write/read success of styles-custom.css was not enable. now i set the chmod to 777. and now the site was displayed with no style? the test accordion in den content doesn’t work too. what i do wrong?

seems like your site is on the maintenance mode
1.) about style-custom.css Can you try to create a file ‘style-custom.css’ directly, you can create a blank file but set its permission to ‘755’ after that go to admin panel and click ‘save changes’
2.) about the nav.,, this is what I assume… Please make sure that your theme path is located at ‘wp-content/themes/phoenix/’ NOT ‘wp-content/themes/themeforest………../phoenix/’
Try to move it one level above via FTP.

I bought and installed this theme into my hosting provider (wpengine.com/3.5) and the site doesn’t render properly (not even close). I was wondering if there are any pre-modifications I need to do to the files after uploading in order for the theme to work?

the theme doesn’t have option to upload banner on the top…
if you have a good knowledge on html/css, should be not too difficult

I would use a slider with thumbnails as a page header within your template. As far as I know, the NIVO slider script can display the small bullets down the slider, or thumbnails (smaller version of the slide images) – is this something that can be configured with the version you are including in your template (and which can be easely configured as page-header in Phoenix) ? I noticed I can access and edit the related jquery script (hand-editing on the server, of course), but you are interfacing it with the drag-and-drop options in the administration area, so… there may be responsiveness issues as well, so let me know. Is there an easy way to add more information to the standard 4-thumbnails for the portfolio? Right now they are displaying the image, the title of the portfolio, and the few associated tags. I would need to add some more, like the client_name (at least), is that possible with your existing code?

I did wind up purchasing this theme & absolutely love it! Got it up & running in just a few hours. I do have a few questions hoping you can help me with.
1. How can I remove the “excerpt” from blog post listings when added to category pages or any page using the “add item feature”? When I insert zero as the excerpt length it shows the full excerpt.
2. The comment links/meta data seems to have disappeared. How can I show just a link or the meta data with a link including # of comments on single blog post pages, archives, category pages, or pages where inserting a list of blog posts like I have on my front page. I don’t want all of the meta data such as tags, etc, just the date, author & comment link & # if possible.
3. Responsive design: The single blog posts content is being pushed to the right in a skinny column making it a little hard to read.
4. Responsive design: Wondering why we can’t pinch the page to shrink or expand even on the blog posts on a device such as an iPhone?

LOVE this theme. Considering using it on my blog. I have a couple questions.
1. Is there an easy way to setup the front page to use the slider and then a blog below with also widgets as you have them on the demo? Basically I want the flow to be slider, widgets (or short code w/the 4 sections/columns as you have them) then beneath that is the blog. My guess is this can be done via a combo of the page builder and short codes but not certain?
2. Can the slider be added to any page via shortcode or other method or is it hard coded just to be able to display on the home page?
