Hello! I bought this amazing theme a while ago and it’s one of the most modern themes available in the Envato repository.
I know this theme is more focused on being a “Portfolio” for agencies and the like, but the potential capabilities that can be achieved in the E-Commerce sector with this theme can really be brutal.
I made a short list (in order of importance) of the essential features that Ohio could have to be more attractive to users looking to have an optimal online store:
1. Improve product filter on shop archives pages (the current one is too simple)— 2. Color & Image Swatches— 3. Cart goal (Free Shipping)— 4. Ajax “add to cart” on single product page— 5. Product image on Summary Cart “Your order” (on Checkout page)— 6. Advanced Live Search (name, price, category, sku, search suggestions)— 7. Sign In / Sign Up (appear in pop-up mode when clicked)— 8. Native compatible with “Frequently Bought Together” and “Bundled products” plugins (to set the same style of Ohio UI)
I really hope you can consider these suggestions, which would very possibly make Ohio one of the best options for E-Commerce businesses.

There’s something seriously wrong and inaccurate about the “Countdown” widget/shortcode in the theme. And even the HTML code output it generates is wrong.

Furthermore, I’ve managed to fix the HTML escape issues by modifying wp-content/plugins/ohio-extra/shortcodes/countdown files there and now it correctly outputs HTML as intended. But, it only added 1 more day to the countdown (1 month, 3 days…), but it’s still inaccurate.
I’ve managed to fix it by adjusting the JS code here to this: https://i.imgur.com/86Ob19O.png But I’m not so sure that this is a solid fix or not. Kindly advise…

You’ve been selling the template for four years (and almost 20,000 licenses have been sold) and the demo import still doesn’t include a menu. There’s no information on how to create (or edit – change colors) the red highlighted NEW text in the documentation either.
I’ve bought three licenses over the years. The support for creating a ticket has already expired, can I ask for an answer here in the comment (without referring to creating a ticket)?
I’m sure I won’t be the only one who would welcome this information. It would be nice to be able to import the menu, or to read about it in the documentation.

We expect users to have their unique menu because each menu item is linked to the website’s specific page and they are all different for any web project. However, we can provide you with an importable XML file of our demo menu, just send us a personal message.
To modify mega-menu colors navigate to Theme Settings > Menu > General and scroll down to the Styles section:https://tppr.me/GP2AFt
The active/hover menu item color is the Primary Color of your site set in the Appearance menu:

Currently, there’s no separate option to set a different from the Primary Color value, but you can use a Custom CSS snippet:

I imported for Elementor and i can only see 10 pages. which are mostly the Home page and Some E-commerce Pages. Ensure you have the latest version of the Ohio theme (3.4.8).
After that, remove and reinstall the Ohio Extra plugin from scratch, so that you will get the Ohio Extra plugin with the fix. You can do this in the “Appearance > Install Plugins” WordPress menu.
After that ensure that you clear browser’s and server’s caches.

Please, why can I not set a downloadable product on Woocommerce product page. I have selected ‘simple product’ > ‘virtual’ > ‘Downloadable’ and have input a URL for the downloadable file. Yet, the button still remains as ‘Add to Cart.’
The ‘Add to Cart’ text is supposed to change to ‘Download’
I have disabled all plugins that aren’t required for standard theme functionality yet, the issue persists.

Seems like there’s no issue with a downloadable product, and that’s how it works. Customers add the product to the cart and get a direct link to download the digital file after purchasing.

Absolutely, the only thing you should know is that the intro area animation is available with Elementor Pro version only. It will be static (without a scrolling effect) with the free version.
As for the marquee effect, there’s no such pre-built option and you should find a way to make it on your own or use a third-party plugin for that.

With the latest elementor update ohiyo extra plugin not compatible. elementor widget block is not loading. once ohiyo extra plugin disable elementor widget panel loading. due to that site is breaking. can we get a quick update for that

Hey team, that doesn’t work. The solution is to rollback elementor to a previous version that is compatible with the theme update.
Please ensure that you clear all cache after updating Ohio Extra, as this fix has worked for other customers who contacted us with the same issue.
