I’ve last 4 questions then it’s all over..

1-) I’ve seen multiple bigbang users disable the magnify icon on hover and only the link icon is visible. How do i do that?

2-) I’ve been reading every single page on comments and finally figured out how to disable the sliders and make all the images visible on detailed portfolio pages. Also I made Twin so it shows 2 images in a row. My question is how do I have 3-4 images in one row instead of twin and how can I put the images in certain sizes so that only way to show the full image would be to click on it with prettyPhoto? ( Because Image sizes on Extra images don’t work when I select smaller sizes on Wordpress popup)

3-) How do i have put the Twitter& Facebook like icons to the left side of the page under the text instead of the images on detailed portfolio page?

4-) How can i take out the arrow that moves along the same filters on detailed pages ?

When I make a blog post that has a video, it shows up on the blog page but when I click on that post and it takes to me to that post’s page, the video doesn’t show up? How do I fix this?

Is it possible to make a portfolio image link to a blog post or page? Make a portfolio for the project, but when clicked, it redirects them to a source that I indicate. Thanks for the help.

Is there any code you can provide to disable the “zoom” button (magnifying glass icon) on the thumbnail of the portfolio item? Some images are rectangle and don’t fill the thumbnail container properly. I would prefer to make an actual thumbnail that fits the container and have the user click the “link” button (chain icon) to see the full image and description on the portfolio item page. Can you help?

How can I hide the “COMMENTS 0” mini element that appears below the post date on the blog page? We have disabled comments so there is no need to show this.

I’ve had Big Bang running fine on my site for a while now. All of a sudden the slider has stopped working on my home page. My instagram in the feed has also disappeared. My drop down menu used to highlight orange and it doesn’t any longer. Basically the site has bugged out all of a sudden out of nowhere.

I have not made any changes. Do you know why this has suddenly happened?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi. My “Big Bang” themed website has been up and running for a couple of weeks now and has been working fine. However, yesterday the slider disappeared off the home page, the fonts changed (to Arial, Helvetica,etc) and the drop down menus also disappeared. I asked you a question about portfolio thumbnails and category. It seems like you don’t understand my questions. What i mean was when you go to the portfolio page with the options of selecting the categories on top of the thumbnails. Is it possible to have an URL that link to only one categories that look likes when I click on the category link on top of the thumbnails. For examples, only showing the thumbnails of the category “landscape”?

Hi, First let me thank you for such a great theme and your prompt response to all questions asked here. I’m completely new at this so things are taking longer than what they should; still, really enjoying the learning curve.

Anyhow, my question: I’m building a page and adding extra images for a slider, everything works fine except that the images are HUGE, a lot bigger than the ones in the live preview (I want the same size as your home page). All the images are horizontal and I’ve tried resizing them to the same size (pixels: 640width x 480height) before uploading. I’ve also tried uploading and then editing the images, cropping, rescaling, etc…nothing works. Is there something I’m missing? Again, new at this so it might be a basic thing I’m not doing. Thanks

I managed to create an instagram page and a flickr page, but have a few problems/questions…

Instagram: the page works fine if I use shapes, but I can’t seem to figure how to remove the shapes and simply have the neatly aligned square thumbnails (and I suppose it must be there somewhere, since you see them for a split second before the circles load). I tried to remove the mention of shape in the shortcode, and to write shape=”none” or shape=”square”: the result is indeed square pictures, but huge ones, nothing to do with a grid of thumbnails.

Flickr: same kind of question, with a twist. When I don’t mention any shape, the default result is the masonry style. When I mention a shape… there’s a blank area at the bottom of some of the pictures, but not all of them.

So, in short: how do I display those in simple aligned square thumbnails, possibly without the light grey area and title at the bottom, a lot of my pictures being title-less?

And just in case: is there any way to display pictures related only to a flickr tag? (typically, I would imagine adding a “best of” or “portfolio” tag to display a selection rather than the last pictures uploaded).

Can I use multiple portfolio pages to categorize the work?

For example, when you first land on the Work page, there are thumbnails for each category such as Paintings, Sculpture, Photography, Exhibits.

Then when you click on the Painting thumbnail, you would go the page which shows all Paintings – which is the like have a secondary Work page.

Here is the order of the page: 1. WORK landing page with Paintings, Sculpture, Photography, Exhibits. 2. When Paintings thumbnail takes you to a WORK page only showing Paintings – Such as Painting A, Painting B, Painting C. 3. Rolling over on a Painting A will show the details of this work – Also show the color overlay with the Magnifying glass and the Link icons.

Is this something that is doable with this template?

Is there a simple way to put the styling from the contact form on the theme onto the other contact forms I make through Contact Form 5?

I’m not sure why, but my portfolio item pages title is adding an extra 40px to the top of the title area. It looks clunky and I would like that to disappear. Please help!
