I saw a freelancer just change the photos and text of this theme and sell it to other customers. Isn’t this a problem?

You can already link to pages/posts by their ID directly. WP will automatically convert that into the permalink structure in use.

Would it be possible for you to add a dropdown of pages? Kind of a link type: Page or URL. Page would select the page from the dropdown. That way, if page moves around and URL changes, link doesn’t break. Would make maintenance so much easier.

When you set your link using the page ID as shown in my previous example, it will always resolve to page regardless if the title, or slug changes.

New update broken Rotate In function in the home page header. The text dissapeared + the icon about scroll down dissapeared also (At the bottom). Proof https://alliancesportal.com/ ( there is no Rotate In Header Content visible at all.)
I had to switch to Text Effect: None and I had to add Custom CSS:

for the text to be visible at all.
Which 100% indicated broken update because Rotate In doesn’t work at all. + Please add percantage strength of the Page Header Overlay Color. Thank you.
I have also noticed that before the Logo at the top is revealed from the top, there is visible a ghost of the logo with low transparency.

Since that’s not a known issue and we also can’t replicate it in the live demo using the same effect, we would need to take a closer look at your setup to assist. Have you verified that the issue still occurs when temporarily disabling the LiteSpeed plugin to rule out a caching issue? If so, feel free to open a ticket on the support forum in regards.

I added a background color and 10px radius to a column. I added a border to that column, but the border radius seems to be smaller for the line than the background, which results in a tiny space without background color inside the border. The border and background exist on different layers in order to enable various animation and hover effects offered in Salient. If you would like to alter that for your use case, you can add the following snippet into the custom CSS box located in the Salient options panel > General Settings > CSS/Script related tab:

Since all of the styles for that form are targeting WPForms, you would need to extract the classes and alter them to suit your needs. You can find all related styles tied to the class name `.nectar-inline-subscribe-form` in salient/css/src/third-party/wpforms.css

https://www.mentalhealthfc.org/Hey UtopiaDM, that’s because mobile devices typically have a higher pixel density and would require a higher resolution version of the image than you’ve supplied for the display width. You can either set a mobile size for your image to be smaller than it currently is, for example “150px”, or provide a larger version of the image while keeping the display width the same around 300px.

That elements exists in the page builder, and has instructions in the info tooltip near the images field, “Select images from media library. You can then use asterisks below in your text to mark where each image will display e.g. Lorem ipsum * dolor sit amet consectetur * adipiscing elit.”
There are also a few Salient Studio templates which use that which you can add into your page as a starting point to edit.

I just updated the theme but am running into some issues regarding the Quantum demo. On a portfolio item page, what I’d love to do is for the text on the left to scroll first, then for the image/images on the right to scroll, and then for the entire page to scroll to the next section, compare to how it is now where the images scroll first and then the text on the left. I’ve tried playing around with the JS/CSS mode but to no avail. Could you please let me know how I can switch the scrolling function to get the desired effect?

Switching the column sticky functionality from CSS-powered to JS-powered is the only option we offer to modify how the sticky functionality works. https://ibb.co/rmyycNd When the JS option is selected, the sticky content will scroll before sticking, whereas CSS sticks the content immediately, even if it’s taller than the viewport. If the JS option isn’t working for you, please share a project URL with it enabled so we can take a look.

As mentioned I have tried playing around with exactly that setting, but somehow I’m just not able to switch the functionality to have an adverse effect. Given that it’s applied to the left/right columns, I figured it should be easy, probably without custom work, to ‘reverse’ the function so it’s applied to right/left columns instead.

Again; my wish is to have the text on the left scroll first, then the images on the right of it, instead of the images scrolling first and the text scrolling only afterward.

Hello, Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, it did not work, and while testing, I realized that it would not allow me to achieve what I wanted to do.

The Nectar Slider header text will inherit from the typography settings you specify in the Salient options > Typography > Salient Elements tab via the “Nectar/Home Slider Heading Font” field.

Thanks for the reply, however I was wondering how you got hte video preview to show and not the actual video. When I used that template, I updated the video link and it would still show the video preview that came with the template. Is that just something that is clipped from the YouTube/Vimeo video or is that a clip/image/gif that is set specifically as the preview image?

The video preview is set on the row and the Self Hosted Video Player. The Self Hosted Video Player controls only the Lightbox video and adds the play icon within that template.
