Hello. In answer to user Pantograv a few comments below you responded that “Both map options provide the same functionality, so feel free to use the one that best suits your needs.”. How can I activate OpenStreetMap for Drop Pin functionality in Add listing view? I don’t need geocoding, the map can start as well centered on the whole country and the user would place the pin. I have OpenStreetMap chosen in the settings but on add listing form, it’s still trying to access Google Maps when clicking Drop Pin button. Thanks.

Yes, we do support both map options. However, please note that on the Submit Listing page, we provide an option to manually add coordinates for openstreet map.
The Google Search and Drop Pin features, on the other hand, require a Google API key. These functionalities cannot be used without obtaining and integrating a valid Google API key.

We’re sorry for any disappointment.
As mentioned, we support two types of APIs. The Drop Pin feature is a part of Google API, not OpenStreetMap. This is not something developed or controlled by us; otherwise, we would have adjusted it to meet your requirements.
Our integration is with Google API, and the data is fetched directly from there. For OpenStreetMap, you can manually add addresses.

Does the theme recommend listings based on categories or tags? These suggestions can also appear on the listing detail page.

Please note that while you can search listings using categories and tags, suggestions work differently. Currently, there is no built-in option to suggest listings automatically.
However, you can add an element to the listing detail page to display listings with ads. This can be done through Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets, where you can add relevant widgets. That said, there is no direct option to display suggestions or tags-based recommendations on listings.

After registering the full address in the listing, there is a field for the city. Even if I manually enter the “city,” it does not match with the city filter in the search filter.
Is there no option to pull up the “city” field in the listing and contact the desired city?

We offer two options for adding locations:
Manually Add Locations
Use Google Locations
Before proceeding, you need to decide which option you want to use. You can configure this in the Admin Dashboard > Theme Options > Listings > Locations.
If You Choose Manual Locations:
Go to Admin Dashboard > Listings > Locations > Add Location and manually enter the locations. On the Submit Listing page, these manually added locations will appear in a dropdown menu for selection. In the Search Bar, users can select a location from the dropdown to find listings associated with that location.
If You Choose Google Locations:
No manual entry is needed. On the Submit Listing page, when typing a location name, the system will fetch suggestions from Google. Simply select the desired location, and it will be added automatically. The same applies to the Search Bar—typing a location will show Google’s suggestions, and selecting one will display relevant listings.
Address:
You are confused between Location and Google Address functionality. Let me tell you that these both are two different things. Google address just used to display the listings on map while the location is the info which used in search function. The listings are associated with the location you have searched. No matter what is the Google address All the listings will be associated with the Location you have searched will display in search results for associated location

Recently, I saw in one of the comments that WooCommerce (which is integrated with CubeWP) will be integrated in the next theme version (3.0). That is AWESOME NEWS and smart move!!!
Because of this, we have 3 upcoming projects and now we want to do it with your new ListingPRO.
I have 2 questions now:
1. Can we start new projects with current theme version and just upgrade it later or it is better to wait new theme version? I’m asking this because I know CubeWP has new/different listing/post type structure that might not be compatible with ListingPRO 2.9.
2. I’m aware you don’t know know the exact date, but is there any ETA for 3.0? Is there a chance that it will be released by end of February, or March…?

Tags/Keywords are are not visible on the detail listing page. How to add on listing page

Hello, thank you for your feedback and your details. To be more precise, I would like to create a sort of games directory. where the location (map) is not necessary at all. So no need for cards, but a sheet which presents the games (image, description, etc.) A button to access the designer’s site, proposal at the bottom of the page for similar games / in the same category, and which can be listed by category and/or hastag. Would this be easily achievable with your theme?
Hi, I am interested in buying your theme, but have one pre-purchase question. Is it possible to start just with OpenStreetMap for both map viewing and adding a listing (by dropping a pin on the map, which would be translated to coordinates)? In the admin demos (great thing by the way) when I clicked on Drop pin option I always had Google Maps error, even if I chose OpenStreetMap as map provider in the settings. Also, can the admin-provided location list also carry manually filled coordinates, to which the selection of a city would be translated and the map updated accordingly, both in search and add listing? I’d like to avoid paying for geocoding API at least in the beginning. I know Nominatim but I wouldn’t like to exploit it, so I am looking for such a workaround. Cheers!

The listing pro overall is good, but I would like a few small changes:
On the main homepage, change the text “Add Listing” to “List Here.”
In the “Happening Cities” section, replace it with “All Categories.”
In the listing description, the beginning currently shows a YouTube video and a “Watch” button. I want to replace this with an option for users to add a “custom text”, and instead of the “Watch” button, I want to set it to “custom text”
For these changes, do I need to take any additional services and pay extra fees, or can they be done easily by default?

Secondly, for the feature you’re asking about, you can enable the auto-location feature by Google. This allows users to add their own locations, which will be saved in the database automatically. If you opt for the manual location option added by the admin, users will not be able to add their own locations and will need to select from the existing ones.

This theme always has problems.. Now with the latest Update there’s a problem with Ads. When a User Submits an Ad, The Ads don’t appear anywhere; Not on the Admin dashboard and not on the User’s dashboard.. You know at it’s price, this theme shouldn’t have so many silly bugs.. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone honestly. There are no payment options for Kenya.. You think Africa is only made up of Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa? Look at the Stats and see why Kenya Should be a Priority when it comes to Africa
