I wrote you a support ticket and I got no reply. I requested a refund on this template since there was no demo attached to themeforest and I could not check how difficult this set up was. It is just too complicated for me to handle (maybe just me since you have many happy customers). I followed a video but it was not updated (video is from Journal 2) and download is from Journal 3…so kind of logic is the same. I found that template to be OVERWHELMING – it takes months to figure out and even set up the site. I wanted a simple website with easy to follow features.
I bought it literally yesterday and I wrote you an email about refund. Can I request a refund on that purchase and please revoke my license. It will be good if you attach an admin/demo to the listing so your future clients can see how it works. It might not be a choice for someone not so technical. I found it to be very difficult. I am writting it here since I got no reply. Can I request a refund? I wrote to Envato also but the seller have to issue a refund. Template bought in February 18.

Journal admin can be accessed from any demo, simply add “admin” in the demo url and access with user/pass: demo/demo
Videos on our Youtube channel show Journal 3, we don’t have any videos with Journal 2.

Hi! I’ve bought long time ago a Journal license for a website. This domain is not available anymore and i want to activate the license on other domain. I tried to activate the theme with the purchase code but it says “No license usage available.” Could you help me? The old domain is not available anymore.

Yes, they are compatible but they do not run on Opencart 4, they still use Opencart 3, however they work fine with OC4 as well.

Thank you for your reply. I haven’t encountered any other issues apart from the one I mentioned for now. If any arise, I will report them promptly.
Additionally, I have another question: After each update of the Journal theme, do the demos also get updated accordingly? What I mean is, whenever I update the theme to your latest package, do I need to export the demo again from your demo site and import it to my website? as I’m not sure whether the demos are updated as well with the theme updates.

Our demos always run on the latest version so they get updated right away. However, theme updates do not necessarily mean that design changes are also made.

Sorry, I didn’t express myself correctly. What I meant was, Is building the layout the same as in version 3 or it is more like drag and drop?
It’s the same builder concept but with many more options.
We have also introduced a frontend editor which can be enabled from Journal > System > System > Journal Editor.

There is a general one that applies to popups and other modules that may load in Journal > Skins > Edit > Global > Loading Icon…but it’s not for the main site, we don’t have one for the entire page.

When updating to oc 4.1.0.0 with journal 3.2 rc 107, I think I found some bugs: 1. Every contact form when pressing send has this message: Forbidden Forbidden {error do not have permission to access this page.”} 2. When you want to go from the shopping cart page to the checkout page, you go to the index page instead of the checkout page 3. In the shopping cart for oc 4.1.0.0 they removed the gift voucher and uses only coupons, but even when coupons are active in journal, they are not present on the cart page anymore.

After update to J3.2 RC 107 I have a problem on product page. The time countdown for special price is not displaying anymore.
I am on clean OC 3.0.4.0. Countdown was working fine on RC 105. I didnt make any changes in Journal dashboard. I have only updated to new J3.2 version. Could you please check it an eventually provide a fix.
