1) Horizontal photos are featured profiles. Enable this option here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Featured -> Enable Featured status.

Tip: the best way to install the theme is to use Theme Installer here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Theme Installer. Please, follow all 3 steps. In this case, all required (form, fields, menus, templates, plans) will be installed correctly.
I see Subcription in the Dashboard, but it’s not clear what to click to enable subscription, everything looked checked. Why there is no subscription option on my site?
What do you mean by saying “there is no subscription option on my site”? I already explained where the subscription options can be found in the comment above.
Just do 3 things:
1) Set the options here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Subscription
2) Activate or create at least one subscription plan here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Subscription plans.
3) Activate at least one payment gateway here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Gateways.

This section (horizontal photos) must display featured profiles. But you have no featured profiles yet. That’s why this section does not display any profile.
Solution: go to every profile page (frontend) -> click on the Administration Dashboard -> select the date in the field “Activate Featured status till” -> click on “Activate”.
Also, re-save this field: WordPress -> DateBook -> Custom Fields -> Gender.

We solved the missing sidebar problem. One more question. There is an option in Datebook > Dashboard > Chat and Messages On Profile page and Inside pop up chat window. I select options, but I don’t see any difference on the site. What’s the difference?

Enable this option: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Top -> Enable Top status.
Also, enable “Top” in subscription plans. For this, go to here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Subscription plans -> open a plan for editing -> enable “Top position”.
Notice: “Top status” can be available for users, only if you activate Subscription. Because “Top status” depends on Subscription.
But if the subscription is not active on the entire site or for any profile, then in any case the administrator can manually enable the “Top” status. Yes, there is a delay, at least 5 minutes. You can control it here and set from 5 minutes to 2 days – how often to check for subscriptions: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Subscription -> Check for expired subscriptions, Top and Featured statuses every.

Why it happened. You created sample profiles that are active but were never reviewed by administrator. Therefore, after enabling the option “Manually activate a new profile” in step 1 above, all profiles must be activated by administrator.

The “Views” link in the user menu cannot be removed. In the future, we will add possibility to remove it.
You can disable “Views” showing statistics of views on a profile page: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Profile -> Show statistics and additional info on Profile page.
Trick: you can assign another page in this field: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> pages -> Profile: Who viewed me page

This is correct. The home page shows only those countries which have profiles. If no profile was registered in a country, then this country is not showing on the home page.
You can not edit the DateBook pages. They are not editable. If you want to create your own design (layout), then you should create your own page by help of a page builder. After that, you should insert our shortcodes into your pages.

I’m trying to remove the comment section from the woocommerce. I disabled prodcut review in the woocommerce setting but it doesnt remove the comment section. Looking at DEV Tool, it seems like this is due to the template.
the classname is ”.datebook-custom-card.card” when i try to remove it with CSS, it removes the whole woocommerce product page.
also: i did check dashboard > comments & reviews and these are all deactivated so this shouldnt be showing in the first place.
please disregard, after resaving all products (woocomerce) the comment section disappeared.

thats the one I used. I do have at least 1 features profile which shows on the search as well home page so in general the features profile option is working. but not when I use the shortcode on a different page.

Hi. I checked your site and subscription. It all works correctly. I did notice any errors.
What I did as an ordinary user:
- I successfully registered
- I successfully uploaded my photo and completed my profile
- I successfully selected a subscription plan that was free for women
What I did as a administrator:
- I successfully approved a new profile in the moderation panel (frontend)
But! Why your users cannot select subscription plans. Because:
- You administrator enabled this option: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Profile -> Manually activate a new profile. This option hides the Select button on the Subscription page, and does not allow to select a plan until a user completes his profile and administrator approves his profile.
- You activated a cache plugin that displays cached pages. Even after you approve a new profile, this profile’s user still sees an old cached page where the Select button is not available on the Subscription page.
The problem: you activated an aggressive cache plugin.
Possible solutions. Use one of them:
- deactivate a cache plugin fully
- disable an aggressive mode in the cache settings
- exclude this page from caching in the cache settings (https://yoursite/mypage/upgrade/)
Do not use a recurring payment! Please, do not select a recurring payment in the theme settings. This option is experimental and has not been completed yet. Because it is very inconvenient for user to cancel a recurring payment in PayPal. I think we will remove any recurring payment in the future. Recurring payments make confusion for users.
A new feature “Description” in the Moderation panel is still under development and not completed yet. It will display the changed text in the description of profile. When a user writes something in the description, this new description goes to the moderation panel under “Description”.
I am yet to check the option where a user must first select a subscription plan and then registration. Actually, this option was corrected few months ago. But ok, I will check it again. But it is not clear what error you see on your site. I checked it on our side. No error.
