1. Vodi is a WordPress theme. It only styles the output and it does not provide the functionality on how your website will work. Vodi uses MAS Videos plugin which creates custom post types for Movies, Videos, TV Shows, etc. It comes with a TMDB API integration which you can use to import content.
2. Please note the theme uses WordPress’s default player. You can use HLS players plugins for live streaming. Please note they are considered third-party integration and are not covered by support.
3. Yes. MAS Videos has people post type which allows adding actors, directors, etc. Here is the persons archive page: https://vodi.madrasthemes.com/main/persons/

I’d recommend you to try HLS player and follow their documentation: https://wordpress.org/plugins/hls-player/ If you are able to use it on a default WordPress theme, you should be able to use it with Vodi. Playback is not handled by the theme but by the video player plugin.

When I try to delete/edit the excerpt that originally came with import demo data, even after editing all other data , the excerpt alone is not getting edited or deleted. it’s reappearing. For some video posts it works, but for most posts, it’s not working.

There is no separate code for producer accounts by default theme or MAS videos plugins.

Primary menu does not display at the top of the page on a table even when the desktop version of the site is requested in browser. What gives?

Thing is if a browser on a handheld device requests the desktop version of the site the them should honor that request shouldn’t it.

The theme should expose more of the CSS in the customizer to accommodate an easier way to change color. The way it works right now is really awkward and requires more effort than it should for a theme.

By header I mean the banner across the top if you look at the image it is gray despite setting the vodi option header theme to dark.

However you can load “Gutenberg Blocks” in your archive pages by creating static content with your “Gutenberg Blocks” in the static content tab and configure created static content in Vodi > Videos > Jumbotron option.

That like doesn’t work. I can get by with using Gutenberg and the theme styles dark, etc but not every Vodi block has style attributes.

I bought the theme today and I have been able to figure out everything except the primary menu. No matter which heading I use no menu is displayed despite having all the menu properly assigned. I can get the other menus to display but not the primary one. I have turned off all other plugins and not change. The documentation has been read multiple times and still I can’t find a solution. Please assist this is extremely frustrating.

The primary menu is displayed only on Headers v1, v2 and v3. Each home page uses a different header style. The rest of the pages can have a standard header style.
Can you please share with us a screenshot(you can upload the image to a third-party service and paste the link here) of which header you are using and what is missing, we’ll help you resolve your issue.
