The compare button and box at the product box from the shop needs correction: It seems to be a grey and on hover black box with a small text compare inside, also we need the option to close the overlay “view comparison bar” at the bottom of the page

Home pages in Electro are built using page templates. ( Ref : https://docs.madrasthemes.com/electro/topics/set-up-pages/home-v1/home-v1-via-page-template/ ). This means there will be no content in the text editor area or visual composer back-end editor. The content is loaded from the template file and are configurable via page options meta-box that are present below the editor ( Ref : https://docs.madrasthemes.com/electro/topics/set-up-pages/home-v1/home-v1-via-page-template/#home-v1-page-options ). This makes sure that the home pages are independent of page editors.

However you can also build the home pages using visual composer or Elementor. For example, you can build home v1 by following the instructions given here : https://docs.madrasthemes.com/electro/topics/set-up-pages/home-v1/home-v1-via-visual-composer/ or here for Elementor : https://docs.madrasthemes.com/electro/topics/set-up-pages/home-v1/home-v1-via-elementor/

The Electro is a WooCommerce theme and supports all features of WooCommerce. Theme doesn’t have any specific code for Tutor LMS.

Theme uses the WooCommerce login form. If you have issues with login please disable your site third party plugins and test.

Thank you for reaching us. Yes, you can update themes in your site after purchasing the license. Update theme compatible with updated WooCommerce.

You can update the theme can be updated in 3 ways:

1. Automatically: You can use the Envato Market plugin to update the Theme automatically. Instructions here: https://ibndawood.com/how-to-update-a-themeforest-wordpress-theme-or-a-codecanyon-wordpress-plugin/

2. Semi-Automatically: Sometimes, (1) does not work. You should download the latest installable WP theme zip file from your Themeforest downloads page and then upload it via Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme and upload the zip file. WP will backup the old Theme and install the new one.

3. Manually: You should download the latest installable WP theme from your ThemeForest downloads page, rename your current theme folder in wp-content/themes folder, unzip the downloaded WP theme from your Themeforest downloads page and upload it to wp-content/themes folder.

Please note that updating a theme will override any custom changes that you make to the parent theme. Hence we recommend using a child theme. A child theme is not meant to be updated and should contain only your custom changes. Also, we strongly advise that you backup your website and database before updating. It allows you to roll back the update if anything goes wrong after update.

Thank you for reaching us. The area you are referring to is the shop sidebar. The shop page has 2 sidebar areas :

1. Products Filter sidebar widget area : In here we place all filter widgets. This widget area is purely for the purpose of styling. So all widgets that needed to be styled like filters should be placed here.

2. Shop Sidebar widget area : This sidebar area should contain all other widgets. By default the Products Filter sidebar widget area ( mentioned above ) is not displayed. There is a widget called “Electro Product Filter” which represents the Products Filter sidebar widget area. You should add this widget to shop sidebar widget area for the product filters to be visible. 1. The Feature updates are important as the release cadence of WooCommerce is monthly and it is important to update the theme to keep up with the releases.

Owing to our customer base, we intent to make smaller testable updates instead of major updates. This way we keep our code backward compatible as well as define small testable features.

2. We do not have plans to include a new theme panel. Our current plan is to embrace Blocks and use blocks instead of theme options. We are also deprecating old template-style codes one-by-one.

3. Please note search should not be a feature of a theme. It is a behaviour and it should be governed by plugins. Our theme provides compatibility with many high quality search plugins like Algolia. These plugins will provide better features individually than bundling all the plugin features into a theme.

4. Yes, you can use custom Elementor headers instead of our pre-build ones.

5. Yes, the theme is compatible with the Germanized plugin. However, we did not test this. This has been reported by our German customers.

6. Yes, our Elementor plugin MAS Elementor addons include a template library that you can use.

Hello, thank you for your detailed and fast feedback. 1. Regarding updates: I see you have a lot of bugfixes and compatibility updates. This is fine. But in the last 12 month we do not see any new big option or function which is added in your changelog. Do you plan to add more options like in other besteller themes? They share for example every 2 month a large changelog with a lot of more fixes and a lot of more ADD NEW entry.

3. Regarding search: So you do not have an improved search in your theme out of the box with a lot of options and a lot of usefull functions like ajax? This is also added out of the box by another themes. Do you plan to improve this?

6. Regarding mix and match sections: We checked MAS Elementor addons. This is not what we asked for. We asking about this please: Other themes have a hugh library of all sections from all demos they have. So the webmaster can mix and match all demos and all section into his new page without a lot of work. Finally they will save time and have a pixel perfect design out of the box. Your theme do not have an option to mix and match the sections from all demos like in other themes, correct? Workaround: Finally we have to install your theme on a second subdomain, run all the setup again and select another demo. Export elementor content from another demo and import it into our other domain. Is that correct? If yes: This is a very outdated workflow and need a modern and clean workflow without need to handle stages and subdomain just to import a elementor section from another demo.

7. Please show me the templates from plugin MAS Elementor addons. We do not see any template content from this plugin. Its only a plugin that provide more widgets for elementor, but it does not have any extra elementor template.

Thank you for your patience. Apologies that it took long for us to respond. We had to update our documentation a bit and fix some new bugs in the MAS Addons.

To answer your question:

1. A theme’s territory should be only to style the output and not provide functionality. This allows the theme to be flexible, light and allows the customers to switch themes without losing functionality. Electro is built on that principle. Hence we focus on adding more compatibility to various types of plugins. We’ve also released two new home pages in the past year. All these new pages are block based as well as Elementor based.

3. Search should definitely not a feature of the theme. There are so many advanced plugins that work out of the box with our theme. For example, Algolia. You can integrate Algolia with Electro. There are also many search plugins that you can use. If you need help with the integration, we are happy to help.

6. The MAS Elementor addons will show the library only if Electro theme is activated. Here is the templates library screenshot for you: https://docs.madrasthemes.com/electro/topics/elementor-elements/mas-elementor-import/ It provides section wise as well as page wise templates.

I understand that you’d like to redirect your users to a mobile specific URL for users accessing your website from mobile. This can be achieved at various levels of your website. You can setup redirect on your server or use a plugin like Any Mobile Theme Switcher to achieve redirection. Doing this at theme level is not ideal.

To answer your question, Homes v1 to v10 are available as single import. You can find them in Appearance > Import Demo data > Home v1 – v9 (Template/WP Bakery Page builder) or Appearance > Import Demo data > Home v1 – v7 Elementor depending on your preference of page builder.
