Hey, i purchesed the theme yesterday. Uploaded, activated, installed the plugins but when i click on import demo and select the demo i want i get this message Setup MyListing Importing “Main Demo” Generating attachments… (108 remaining) and its stuck there for ages not moving… can you please help?

I’ve been exploring the MyListing theme demos and wanted to check a few critical points before proceeding with a purchase. While I appreciate the design and flexibility, I noticed some limitations and would like to confirm whether the following customizations are possible—either through the theme options, recommended extensions, or with reasonable custom development support.

Homepage Search Functionality

I need the ability to create separate search forms for each directory/category.

I also want to add an “All” tab in the top search filter menu to show results from all listing types.

Ideally, filter fields (like price, location, tags) should appear directly in the homepage search form—not just on the search results page.

Listing Grid Layout

I want to show user profile avatars or author images in the listing grid.

I’d like to display listing reviews directly in the grid view.

I need control over the layout—specifically, the ability to reorder elements (e.g., show image first, then title, then price).

Is it possible to customize through theme settings—can this be achieved via customizer or child theme?

Single Listing Page Layout

I need the option to embed a full image gallery at the top, instead of just a static banner or slider.

I need more flexibility to reposition fields such as location and reviews.

Is there a way to remove tabs for reviews and show them inline or prominently?

Can the location section be made more visible or styled more clearly?

Could you please confirm whether these features are natively supported, or if they can be achieved through customizations using child themes, custom fields, or any compatible add-ons you recommend?

except for one problem… On a listing page, is it possible to make the cover image always something like 300px ?

I just created a listing an the cover image is 1600×800 and sure enough, the visual gives me the same proportion.

When my customers will download there own images, this is goint to look weird

I’m currently evaluating your theme MyListing for a directory website project focused on the HVACR industry.

Before proceeding, I’d like to confirm whether the theme supports or can be extended to include the following features:

“Bump-Up” Listings: The ability for users with active paid subscriptions to promote their listings back to the top of the directory results (either automatically or manually), similar to a “refresh” or “highlight” option.

Custom Badges: The ability to display custom badges or icons on listings (e.g., “Verified Technician”, “Certified by Admin”, etc.) based on manual approval or user role/type.

This directory will include HVAC technicians, refrigeration supply stores, and training academies related to the field. So I’d also like to know if the theme is flexible enough to support multiple listing types or categories, each with its own fields and badge rules.

Additionally, are these features natively supported or would they require custom development or third-party plugin integration (such as Directorist, ACF, or WP Job Manager extensions)?

Hello, i have enabled paid listings and created a few paid packages, assigned them to the correct specific listing types (following documentation) and, as administrator, i created a few listings too.

Now, how do i assign a paid package to a listing in the backend of my site (as administrator)?

In the “edit listing” page i see the package box on the right column but it’s empty (i cannot chose any package beacuse none is showing) and the “Switch Package” drop down menu says “no results found”.

My main goal is to make “institutions” or “schools” the primary listing type using many custom fields as required. Once a school has been submitted, I would like the person submitting the course to be prompted to add related “courses” as a secondary post type, using custom fields tailored to suit the needs of both the school and its courses.

I’d also like to keep some of the existing post types and layouts that are already included in your demo for other general listing purposes or simply to edit them into other post types to maintain the design, style and aesthetics.

Your description mentions that the theme framework supports building any kind of directory, which sounds promising, and that is why I am here. to create claim listing package. However, the package is not showing up in the ad listing packages. Or there should be a claim listing link on the home page?

Also, what role is needed for create a “claim listing page” – Author, editor or admin? I intent to contract out this task and I have trouble giving out admin access to freelancers.

Pre-Sales….. Looking to make a linktree style members site. Can these “Listings” be stripped down to that point, and only show Header/Profile pic…Headline Bio Text and some buttons for Social Media Links??
